Definitions

  • the invention relates to a friction feeder for separating flat products, the products in particular in the manner of a paper, a cardboard or a multi-page printing unit, the friction feeder with a frame, with a discharge area, with a conveying direction, with a separating region, a first friction element and a second friction element, and having a transport region having a first transport element and a second transport element, wherein the first and the second friction element at a separation point by a first distance from each other and are arranged and configured for such, formed from a plurality of products From a magazine by friction effect at a lower end of the magazine to take a product and between the first and the second friction element to be transferred in the conveying direction in the direction of the outlet region, and wherein the first and the second transport element are spaced at a transfer point by a second distance from each other and arranged and adapted for, one between the first and the second friction element in the direction take over the product transferred to the outlet area and transfer it to the outlet area.
  • a friction feeder of the aforementioned type is made US 6,416,047 known.
  • friction feeders are an important component. They make it possible to selectively remove a workpiece from a large number of workpieces, in particular essentially flat workpieces, and feed it to a subsequent processing or packaging process.
  • the workpieces are inserted as a stack in a magazine of Reibanlegers. During singulation, the lowermost workpiece in the stack contacts a first and a second friction element and is removed from the stack. Thereafter, the separated workpiece is typically transferred by means of a transport device in a discharge area, from where the further processing or confectioning takes place.
  • the workpiece can be printed, pasted, packaged or welded.
  • the first friction element and the second friction element both relative to one another and relative to the magazine is required.
  • the first distance between the first and the second friction element has to be set precisely, since a too small first distance causes a product to jam between the first and the second friction element, whereas an excessively large first distance leads to two Products are retracted simultaneously and then jammed together between the first and the second friction element.
  • the object is achieved with a friction feeder according to the invention of the type mentioned above in that the first friction element and the first transport element are arranged on an adjusting plate, wherein the adjusting plate is arranged displaceable along an adjustment transverse to the conveying direction relative to the frame, so that a displacement of the adjusting plate changed both the first distance and the second distance.
  • a special feature of the structure proposed here is that both the first friction element and the first transport element are arranged on a common displacement plate, which is displaceable to the second friction element and the second transport element. If the displacement plate is displaced in order to adjust the first friction element for a specific product, that is to say in order to set the first distance, then the first transport element moves with it. This also sets the second distance at the same time.
  • the first transport element not only consists of a roller, but for example as a belt, which is guided over two rollers, executed, it is not necessary that the entire transport element is arranged with all components on the adjustment plate. Rather, it is sufficient if the sub-element of the transport element is arranged on the adjusting plate, which determines the second distance between the first and the second transport element at the transfer point.
  • first friction element and first transport element are arranged on the adjustment plate, it is only necessary to set the first distance.
  • the adjustment of the positions of the first transport element and the first friction element to each other can be adjusted from the factory.
  • the second distance does not need to be adjusted by the user during operation because it also adjusts to the setting of the first distance by the user.
  • flat product should be understood in particular printed matter, envelopes, packaged CDs, covers and leaflets, DVD boxes, books, booklets.
  • principle of a friction feeder proposed here can also be used in particular for friction feeders for products of any other type.
  • the adjustment direction is "transversely" directed to the conveying direction, should be understood in particular that the angle between the adjustment and the conveying direction between 30 ° and 150 °, preferably between 60 ° and 120 ° and more preferably between 85 ° and 95 °. It is particularly preferred if this angle is at least about 90 °.
  • the term “separation point” is intended to designate the region of the friction feeder in which, in concrete terms, the removal of a product from a stack of products takes place, in particular by detecting a product at the lowest level and by holding overlying products.
  • the term “transfer point” is intended to designate the area of the friction feeder in which an isolated product is transferred from the separating area into the transport area.
  • the first friction element and the first transport element are displaced parallel to one another and along an equally long path.
  • This embodiment is structurally easy to implement and makes it possible that the displacement of the displacement of the first distance and the second distance are changed by an equal value.
  • This can be realized particularly advantageous in that the first friction element and the first transport element are arranged on the adjusting plate, that they during normal operation - based on the Adjustment plate - are stationary. However, this excludes additional adjustment options, whether it is ex works or by service technicians but not.
  • At least one element selected from a group consisting of a magazine, a double-leaf control device and a spacer plate is connected to the adjustment plate in such a way that the displacement of the adjustment plate leads to an equal displacement of the at least one element.
  • the at least one element is displaced together with the first friction element and the first transport element. While it was still necessary in the prior art to adjust the at least one element separately after a change of the first distance, the at least one element moves automatically in this embodiment in the required position.
  • the at least one element can be arranged directly on the adjusting plate. Preferably, however, it is arranged on a structure which is arranged on the adjusting plate. Preferably, at least two of said elements are connected to the adjustment plate. Particularly preferably, all three elements are connected to the adjustment plate and displace with the adjustment plate.
  • the friction feeder on a magazine for flat products, wherein the magazine is held on a cross member which is held in the adjustment plate.
  • This embodiment is particularly advantageous because the magazine then moves together with the displacement and thus can be ensured that the magazine is correctly positioned with respect to the first distance.
  • the second friction element and / or the second transport element are arranged stationarily on the frame.
  • the invention makes it possible to arrange the second friction element and / or the second transport element stationary on the frame and so to simplify the structural design. While other state-of-the-art friction feeders relied on adjustability of all rolls, this is no longer required according to the invention.
  • the adjustment of the friction feeder with respect to a particular product is particularly easy to implement.
  • the adjusting plate has a recess in which a holder for the first friction element or for the first transport element is arranged displaceable such that the holder transversely displaced to the conveying direction within the recess and resting the adjustment plate of the first distance while maintaining the second distance, or vice versa, can be changed.
  • this embodiment offers the possibility of performing an adjustment of the friction feeder ex works or by a service technician. If one considers the position of the first friction element and the first transport element relative to the adjustment direction, the two components can be displaced relative to each other in this embodiment. Such a setting is usually made once at the factory and repeated only under certain conditions.
  • the first transport element is preferably arranged on the holder, the first friction element directly on the adjustment plate.
  • an adjusting spindle is held with a first end in the holder and with a second end in an adjusting device, so that upon actuation of the adjusting device, the holder is displaced within the recess.
  • This embodiment allows a particularly accurate positioning of the holder within the recess and thus a particularly good positioning of the first transport element relative to the first friction element with respect to the adjustment. Since the adjustment device does not have to be actuated by the user in normal operation, it is advantageous to execute the adjusting spindle and the adjusting device as a whole, with the screw head resting against the adjusting plate and the screw thread engaging in the holder.
  • an adjusting spindle cooperates with a first end with the adjusting plate and is held with a second end in an adjustment on the frame, so that upon actuation of the adjusting the adjusting plate is displaced relative to the frame.
  • the adjusting device is preferably designed as a thumbwheel and is particularly preferably provided with a micrometer display.
  • the first friction element is designed as a friction roller and / or the second friction element has a friction belt, which is guided in particular via two deflection rollers.
  • the friction belt offers a large attack surface compared to the lowest product and thereby the product can be taken very well.
  • the friction roller serves in the manner described above as Brake for products above the lowest product.
  • at least one of the deflection rollers is driven and thus simultaneously represents a drive roller.
  • the adjusting plate is guided along a guide rail.
  • This embodiment allows a particularly exact adjustability and a particularly good reproducibility of previous settings.
  • the displacement of the adjusting plate takes place by means of the aforementioned setting spindle.
  • This embodiment enables an improvement of the friction belt guide, which is guided in particular around a first deflection roller and a second deflection roller.
  • the Applicant has recognized that it can be disadvantageous if the friction belt is passed between two rollers, so that at least a portion of the friction belt is in contact with two rollers simultaneously.
  • This constellation can lead to an overdetermined system, for example when the one roller on one side of the friction belt moves at a different speed than the other roller on the other side of the friction belt. Furthermore, it can lead to the fact that the friction belt is rolled and thereby escapes to the outside and forms a bead there by the pressure of the two rollers against each other.
  • the fact that the friction belt now along its entire conveyor line - the return path should preferably, but does not have to meet the condition - With each part or at each point of the belt part with at most one roller in contact, the friction belt handling is considerably improved.
  • roll is intended to mean any substantially stationary roll or roll, including in particular feed rolls, drive rolls, idler rolls, singulation rolls, pre-singulation rolls, stripper rolls, and friction rolls.
  • the section is infinitesimally small.
  • the considered section of the sub-belt which may have at most one roller, at least one tenth of the radius of the first friction element, preferably at least one fifth of this radius, more preferably at least half of this radius and is in particular at least as large as the radius of the first friction element.
  • a counter element with a bearing surface is arranged opposite the first friction element, wherein a friction belt is guided supported on the support surface, so that the product is passed between the first friction element and the friction belt and thereby emanating from the first friction element pressure is received against the friction belt from the counter element.
  • This embodiment makes it possible to continue to ensure the separation of the products, even if the friction belt is always in contact with a role at most.
  • the friction belt is supported on one side by a flat bearing surface, since then from the first friction element, in particular a friction roller, a sufficiently large pressure can be exerted sufficient to ensure the separation and simultaneously due to the support of the friction belt does not cause the above-mentioned disadvantages when the friction belt has to pass between two rollers.
  • the investor has a stacking shoe, which has a stacking plate, for an angular adjustment of a curved first guide track and is held displaceably on a curved, parallel to the first guide track, the second guide track.
  • the first guide track is preferably designed as a groove in the form of a circular arc, in particular in the form of a quarter-circle arc, in which a guide pin runs. Accordingly, the second guideway can be executed.
  • the second guide track is designed as a stop, on which a correspondingly curved end face passes. This results in a particularly advantageous guidance of the stacking plate.
  • two and in particular three guideways can be designed in the form of a groove. This causes an exact guidance.
  • the investor has a stacking shoe with an adjusting element for adjusting the position of a stacking plate, wherein the adjusting element is an adjusting spindle has, at its first end a clamping element and at its second end an actuating element, wherein the clamping element displaces upon actuation of the actuating element in a direction along the longitudinal extension of the adjusting spindle.
  • This embodiment enables a particularly exact positioning and reproducibility of certain settings of the stacking plate.
  • the clamping element is designed as a clamping block, which is arranged in a profile with a rear handle and presses the actuation of the adjusting spindle via the actuating element the clamping block against the profile, so as to achieve a clamping action between the clamping block and profile.
  • This embodiment is particularly robust and allows in the clamping position a particularly tight fit.
