Definitions

  • the invention relates to a dishwasher, in particular a household dishwasher, with which at least one washing program can be carried out with a plurality of sub-program steps, and with which rinse aid can be added during a sub-program step rinse aid, with a program section for releasing fat deposits on cleaning and / or washware to be dried and / or in the hydraulic circuit of the dishwasher can be carried out before the rinse sub-program step.
  • From the DE 40 22 274 A1 is a method for reducing residual water, in particular in household dishwashers with a program switch, with the washing program steps cleaning cycle, with at least one intermediate rinse cycle, with a rinse cycle, with a program-controllable rinse aid dosing device, with a circulation pump and with a rotary slide valve which can be changed over to the alkali flow.
  • water-releasing agents e.g. B. Dosed rinse aid.
  • Dishwashers in particular household dishwashers, continuous washing programs for cleaning and drying dishes, which have a plurality of sub-program steps, such as. B. may include pre-rinsing, cleaning, rinsing, rinsing and drying.
  • the energy consumption of dishwashers can e.g. B. can be reduced by the maximum temperature on the washing liquor, ie water mixed with cleaning agents, is heated during the cleaning sub-program step, is reduced. Due to their high cleaning performance at comparatively low temperatures in the range of 40 ° Celsius, so-called low-temperature cleaners allow the cleaning performance to be kept essentially constant despite the reduced temperature. However, this has the consequence that undesirable fat deposits can occur, e.g. B.
  • B. heated water is applied.
  • Such Greasing can be removed using a program section for loosening fat deposits.
  • B. fat deposits detergent can be added or the circulated washing liquor is heated to a temperature at which fat deposits dissolve. However, after the heating has been deactivated, the washing liquor cools down again, with the result that the dissolved fat falls out of the washing liquor and re-greasing can form.
  • rinse aid can be added during the program section for releasing fat deposits, so that rinse aid is added to the water.
  • an addition unit can be used which is designed to add detergents during a first sub-program step of a rinse program with a cleaning action and to add rinse aid during the rinse-aid sub-program step.
  • a sub-program step pre-rinse, during which the wash ware is cleaned with water without the addition of detergent or rinse aid, to remove and remove coarse soiling or a sub-program step intermediate rinse, during which the cleaned wash ware is exposed to water, for detergent residues and rinse aid residues to remove.
  • a sub-program step intermediate rinse during which the cleaned wash ware is exposed to water, for detergent residues and rinse aid residues to remove.
  • the program section for releasing fat deposits is a sub-program step cleaning, in which already In terms of the washing program, it is intended to apply heated water to the items to be cleaned while adding detergent.
  • the grease-dissolving effect of the cleaning agent is increased by the heated rinsing solution, which is applied to the wash ware to be cleaned during the sub-program step cleaning and at the same time ensures that the dissolved fats do not accumulate again when the heated water cools down again after reaching the maximum temperature.
  • the program section for releasing fat deposits can be a single program for degreasing the dishwasher, which is carried out, for example, before a washing program for cleaning and drying items to be washed, e.g. B. a manual triggering of an operator.
  • the program section for releasing fat deposits is not part of a washing program comprising several steps, but rather a separately selectable operating mode of the dishwasher.
  • the rinse aid can be added during the sub-program step cleaning after the addition of detergent. This ensures that the cleaning agent added can fully develop its cleaning effect first during the cleaning sub-program step and that the addition of rinse aid is avoided only in a second section of the cleaning sub-program step.
  • the circulated washing liquor ie water mixed with cleaning agents
  • a heating device which can be designed as a water heater or as a heating pump for simultaneously heating and conveying washing liquor.
  • the heating device is then deactivated, but the sub-program step cleaning by loading the wash ware with the slowly cooling wash liquor is continued.
  • the rinse aid can be added after the maximum temperature has been reached during the cleaning sub-program step, ie Rinse aid is added at a time during which the rinse liquor, heated to the maximum temperature, slowly cools down. This makes it possible to achieve a particularly good cleaning result and, at the same time, fat removal by adding rinse aid without additional operation of the heating device.
  • the detergent is added in the cleaning sub-program step before the maximum temperature is reached. This allows the added cleaning agent to develop its maximum cleaning effect when the maximum temperature is reached.
  • rinse aid before reaching the maximum temperature during the cleaning sub-program step, as well as to add detergent, or to add detergent after reaching the maximum temperature.
  • the amount of rinse aid that can be added during the sub-program step cleaning is less than the amount of rinse aid added during the sub-program step rinse, since this smaller amount is sufficient to keep dissolved fats in solution.
  • the amount of rinse aid that is added during the sub-program step cleaning can be significantly increased, for example to two to three times the amount of rinse aid added during the sub-program step rinse aid.
  • the addition unit of the dishwasher can be used by multiple doses of a given rinse aid dose, or alternatively the addition unit is designed to add two different rinse aid doses, one for rinse aid addition during the rinse sub-program step and one for rinse aid addition during the sub-program step cleaning.
  • a solid fat sensor for detecting fat deposits and / or a liquid fat sensor for detecting fats dissolved in the washing liquor is provided, with detection of a threshold value being exceeded by the solid fat and / or Liquid fat sensor the rinse aid can be added during the program section for removing fat deposits.
  • the solid fat sensor for detecting fat deposits can be, for example, a turbidity sensor for detecting the turbidity of the washing liquor, the output signal of which is changed by fat deposits on the entry and exit surfaces of an optical measurement signal. This means that no additional sensor is required.
  • a liquid fat sensor can be used, which makes it possible to immediately detect fats dissolved in the washing liquor.
  • the program section for removing fat deposits can be carried out with the addition of rinse aid.
  • the dishwasher has measuring means with which it can be determined whether rinse aid is available for at least two rinse aid additions and also control means for generating an error signal if there is insufficient rinse aid for this. This means that if, despite the addition of rinse aid in the rinse program, degreasing cannot be removed during the program section to remove fat deposits, because there is not enough rinse aid available or it is possible to add rinse aid at this time of the program, but no longer during the program step rinse aid with the result that the fat deposits were successfully removed, but the drying result during the rinse aid program step is not satisfactory.
  • control means of the dishwasher are connected to optical and / or acoustic display means for converting the error signal, so that an operator can use optical and / or acoustic signals, for example in the form of a signal light in a control panel Dishwasher or due to a warning tone when starting up the dishwasher to the insufficient amount of rinse aid.
  • the measuring means can be used to determine that rinse aid is available for at least one rinse aid addition, in particular during the rinse aid sub-program step.
  • the control means can be designed in such a way that a rinse aid addition, which is inherently provided by the program, is hidden during the program section and a corresponding optical and / or acoustic signal is also generated to inform an operator.
  • the invention also includes a rinsing method for operating a dishwasher, in particular a domestic dishwasher, during which at least one program section for releasing fat deposits is carried out on washware to be cleaned and / or dried and / or in the hydraulic circuit of the dishwasher, rinse aid is added during the fat removal program section to add rinse aid to the rinse liquor.
  • a dishwasher GS designed as a household dishwasher, which has a washing container SB in which items to be cleaned can be arranged on pull-out crockery baskets (not shown).
  • a hydraulic system is provided which, for. B. may have rotating spray arms (not shown), which are connected in a liquid-conducting manner to a circulation pump (not shown), with which water dripping from the dishes can be conveyed to the spray arms.
  • a heating device (not shown) for heating the water is provided in the hydraulic system.
  • a door TU is provided for opening the rinsing container in order to be able to load and / or unload the crockery baskets.
  • the dishwasher GS has an operating panel BL with wash program selection switches (not shown) and optical display means AZ.
  • an addition unit ZU is arranged, which can be provided with detergent and rinse aid before starting the dishwasher.
  • the addition unit ZU is connected via control signal lines (not shown) to the control means SM of the dishwasher GS, for example in the form of control electronics, in order to bring about a detergent at least during a cleaning part R and a rinse aid addition during a rinse part.
  • the addition unit ZU is designed to dispense a powdery or solid detergent in tablet form, while the rinse aid is in liquid form.
  • the addition unit which allows the delivery of both a solid detergent and rinse aid or a solid rinse aid and a liquid detergent.
  • a rinsing program which, in addition to the sub-program steps cleaning R and rinsing K, comprises the further sub-program steps pre-rinsing V, intermediate rinsing Z and drying T, wherein individual of these sub-program steps can also be hidden and / or can be carried out several times.
  • the items to be washed are pre-cleaned with unheated water without the addition of detergent or rinse aid in order to loosen and remove coarse soiling.
  • the water is heated.
  • the R wash sub-program step is carried out, in which the circulated wash liquor or water is heated up to a maximum temperature T MAX by the heating device and then slowly cools down again with the heating device switched off.
  • a detergent addition RZ is carried out, the detergents subsequently dissolving in the water and their maximum cleaning action being achieved when the maximum temperature T MAX is reached .
  • fat deposits dissolve and go into solution.
  • a rinse aid setting KZ2 is carried out at a time t2 during the sub-program step cleaning R in order to keep the fats dissolved in solution when the maximum temperature T MAX is reached .
  • the sub-program step Cleaning R is then continued, that is, by operating the circulation pump UP, the wash ware to be cleaned is further charged with the washing liquor now mixed with cleaning agents and rinse aid.
  • the sub-program step cleaning R is followed by a sub-program step intermediate rinsing Z, which is connected to a pumping-out process of the washing liquor used and a new filling of the dishwasher GS with water and during which the cleaned wash ware is charged with water to remove detergent residues and Remove rinse aid residues.
  • the released fats are conveyed out of the dishwasher GS by the pumping process. This ensures that the items to be cleaned and / or plastic parts of the dishwasher, such as pumps, sieves or hoses, which form the hydraulic circuit of a dishwasher, are essentially free of grease deposits.
  • rinse aid K which is initiated again by pumping down and refilling the dishwasher GS with water.
  • the water added with rinse aid is heated up to a drying temperature T T by starting up the heating device, and this liquid is acted upon during this time.
  • the drying temperature T T is chosen so high that essentially stain-free drying of the wash ware is ensured by self-heating drying.
  • the dishwasher GS has an absorption drying system for drying the wash ware, which, for example, a reversibly dehydratable material such as. B. has zeolite, heating to such high temperatures is not necessary.
  • a rinse aid addition KZ1 takes place at a time t3, the rinse aid addition KZ1 comprising the addition of a larger amount of rinse aid than the rinse aid addition KZ2 during the sub-program step Cleaning R.
