Prägung (29) versehen.

Klappschachtel für Zigaretten
Beschreibung
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Packung aus (dünnem) Karton oder ähnlichem Verpackungsmaterial, insbesondere eine Zigarettenpackung des Typs Klappschachtel, mit Packungswandungen bzw. Teilbereichen von Packungswandungen in doppellagiger Ausführung, wobei eine äußere Packungswand eine durch Stanzung angebrachte Ausnehmung aufweist.
Eine derartige Packung ist bekannt durch EP 1 532 058. Diese Packung gemäß Stand der Technik ist eine Zigarettenpackung des Typs Klappschachtel/Hinge Lid mit Schachtelteil, Deckel und Kragen. Im Bereich einer Schachtel-Vorderwand ist eine kreisförmige oder dreieckige Ausnehmung durch Stanzung angebracht. Eine darunterliegende Kragen-Vorderwand ist - bei entsprechender Verlängerung in Richtung zur Bodenwand - mit einer in der geometrischen Form abweichenden bzw. kleineren Stanzung versehen. Durch beide so geschaffene Öffnungen oder Ausnehmungen hindurch ist ein Innenzuschnitt der Packung, insbesondere aus Stanniol, sichtbar. Diese ist im Bereich der Ausnehmungen mit einer Prägung versehen.
Bei der Erfindung geht es um eine andere gestalterische Ausbildung von Packungen, insbesondere Zigarettenpackungen des Typs Klappschachtel/Hinge Lid Pack mit Öffnungen bzw. Ausnehmungen. Zur besonderen Gestaltung und Kennzeichnung derartiger Packungen ist im Bereich einer Außenwand, insbesondere der Schachtel-Vorderwand, eine durch Stanzung hergestellte Ausnehmung angebracht, die eine geometrische Figur, eine bildliche Darstellung oder ein Symbol zur Kennzeichnung der Herkunft des Produkts darstellt. Die der Erfindung zugrundeliegende Aufgabe besteht darin, die gestalterische Wirkung derartiger Packungen zu verbessern und insbesondere deren Formstabilität aufrechtzuerhalten bzw. zu erhöhen. Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe ist die erfindungsgemäße Packung dadurch gegennzeichnet, dass die Ausnehmung bzw. Ausstanzung der Außenwand im Bereich einer Innenwand angeordnet ist, insbesondere im Bereich einer Kragen- Vorderwand und dass die Innenwand im Bereich der Ausnehmung der Außenwand mit einer dauerhaften Materialverformung versehen ist, insbesondere mit einer Prägung des Verpackungsmaterials der Innenwand.
Der Erfindung liegt die Erkenntnis zugrunde, dass durch die Stanzung bzw. Ausnehmung im Bereich einer äußeren Lage einer Packungswand, insbesondere im Bereich der Schachtel-Vorderwand, eine Schwächung dieses Packungsteils in Kauf genommen wird. Durch die unmittelbar dieser Stanzung bzw. Ausnehmung zugeordnete Prägung einer inneren Lage der Packung wird die Stabilität örtlich erhöht. Darüber hinaus entsteht der Eindruck einer dreidimensionalen Formgebung im Bereich der Stanzung.
Die Materialverformung bzw. Prägung ist vorzugsweise so ausgebildet, dass sie teilweise bzw. überwiegend oder vollständig nach innen gerichtet ist, also gegen den Packungsinhalt. Wenn dieser aus einem Zigarettenblock besteht (Zigarettengruppe mit Umhüllung) wird der quaderförmige Packungsinhalt durch die nach innen weisende Prägung örtlich gestützt und innerhalb der Packung fixiert.
Die Prägung ist vorzugsweise etwas größer als die Ausstanzung bzw. die Ausnehmung der äußeren Packungswand. Dadurch ist sichergestellt, dass im Bereich der Stanzung vollflächig eine Prägung nach außen sichtbar ist.
Bei der Anordnung einer Stanzöffnung im Bereich der Schachtel-Vorderwand einer Klappschachtel besteht die Innenwand aus einer Kragen-Vorderwand des in der Packung angeordneten Kragens. Zweckmäßigerweise ist diese Kragen- Vorderwand vergrößert bzw. verlängert, sodass auch eine Ausstanzung angemessener Größe vollständig im Bereich der Kragen-Vorderwand liegt. Diese ist mit der der Ausstanzung zugeordneten Prägung versehen. Durch die nach innen gerichtete Prägung kann die Kragen-Vorderwand vollflächig an der
2010013576 Innenseite der Schachtel-Vorderwand anliegen und mit dieser verbunden sein, insbesondere durch Leimpunkte.
Die Prägung kann so ausgebildet sein, dass die gestalterisch und/oder konstruktiv auf die Form bzw. Kontur der Stanzung ausgerichtet ist, zum Beispiel der Kontur einer bildlichen, graphischen Darstellung der Stanzung folgt, geringfügig (1-2 mm) größer als diese.
Bei einer besonderen Ausführung ist eine mindestens zur einen Seite offene Ausnehmung in der äußeren Packungswand vorgesehen, insbesondere eine
Vertiefung an einem oberen Randbereich der Schachtel-Vorderwand. Diese bildet zugleich eine Fortsetzung einer Schachtel-Schließkante der
Klappschachtel. In diesem Falle kann die Prägung - in der Kragen-Vorderwand - besondere graphische Darstellungen aufweisen oder gar Informationen enthalten oder allgemein in beliebiger Struktur ausgeführt sein, zum Beispiel aus in Reihen angeordneten Noppen bestehen.
Weitere Einzelheiten und Merkmale der Erfindung werden nachfolgend anhand der Zeichnungen näher erläutert. Es zeigt:

Das in den Zeichnungen dargestellte bevorzugte Anwendungsbeispiel betrifft die
Ausbildung einer Zigarettenpackung des Typs Klappschachtel (Hinge Lid). Diese besteht üblicherweise aus einem (unteren) Schachteilteil 10 und einem Deckel
11. Die Packungsteile sind im rückseitigen Bereich über ein quergerichtetes
Liniengelenk 12 miteinander verbunden, sodass der Deckel 11 aus einer
Schließstellung gemäß Fig. 2 in eine Öffnungsstellung gemäß Fig. 1 bewegt werden kann. Schachtelteil 10 und Deckel 11 bilden einen gemeinsamen, einstückigen Zuschnitt aus (dünnem) Karton.
Der Schachtelteil 10 weist eine Schachtel-Vorderwand 13, eine Bodenwand 14 und eine Schachtel-Rückwand 15 auf. Entsprechend besteht der Deckel 11 aus Deckel-Vorderwand 16, Stirnwand 17 und Deckel-Rückwand 18. Die Deckel- Vorderwand 16 ist überwiegend zweitägig ausgebildet, und zwar durch einen gegen die Innenseite der Deckel-Vorderwand 16 umgefalteten Deckel- Inennlappen 19. Auch schmale, aufrechte Schachtel-Seitenwände 20 und entsprechende Deckel-Seitenwände 21 sind doppellagig ausgebildet, bestehen aus äußeren und inneren Seitenlappen.
Zu der Packung dieses Typs gehört weiterhin ein Kragen 22 mit einer Kragen- Vorderwand 23 und Kragen-Seitenlappen 24. Der Kragen 22 ist im Schachtelteil 10 positioniert, derart, dass die Kragen-Vorderwand 23 mindestens mit einem unteren Teilbereich an der Innenseite der Schachtel-Vorderwand 13 anliegt und mit dieser verbunden ist, vorliegend durch Leimpunkte 25. Der Kragen ragt mit einem Oberteil 26 aus dem Schachtelteil 10 heraus. Dieses Oberteil 26 ist bei geschlossenem Deckel 11 von diesem umfasst.
Die Packung weist mindestens eine durch Stanzen oder Schneiden in einer Außenwand gebildete Ausnehmung, Öffnung oder dergleichen auf und eine besondere Gestaltung der zugeordneten Innenwand im Bereich dieser Ausnehmung.

Diese ist hier beispielhaft in besonderer Weise ausgebildet, zeigt nämlich in den Konturen die Darstellung eines Tieres (Pferd). Die (ringsum geschlossene) Öffnung ist in einem oberen Bereich der Schachtel-Vorderwand 13 angeordnet, mit Abstand von einer oberen Kante, nämlich Schließkante 28 der Schachtel- Vorderwand 13.
Die der Öffnung 27 zugeordnete Innenwand wird durch den Kragen 22 gebildet, nämlich durch die Kragen-Vorderwand 23. Diese liegt innenseitig über den vollen Bereich der Öffnung 27 an der Schachtel-Vorderwand 13 an. Je nach Größe der Öffnung 27 kann die in der üblichen Weise gestaltete Kragen-Vorderwand 23 nach unten, also zur Bodenwand 14 verlängert sein, sodass eine ausreichende Überdeckung der Öffnung 27 gegeben ist. Durch den Abstand der Öffnung 27 von Begrenzungen der Schachtel-Vorderwand 13 und entsprechend der Kragen- Vorderwand 23 kann diese über eine Mehrzahl von Leimpunkten 25 mit der Schachtel-Vorderwand 13 verbunden sein. Im vorliegenden Falle sind benachbart zur Schließkante 28 mehrere (drei) nebeneinanderliegende Leimpunkte 25 vorgesehen. Jeweils zum Rand hin ist ein weiterer Leimpunkt 25 vorgesehen. Unterhalb der Öffnung 27 befinden sich ebenfalls Leimpunkte. Hieraus ergibt sich eine sehr stabile Verbindung der Kragen-Vorderwand 23 mit der Schachtel-Vorderwand 13. Die Verteilung der Leimpunkte 25 und deren Anzahl ist auf die Kontur der Öffnung 27 einerseits und der entsprechenden Prägung 29 andererseits abgestimmt, sodass komplexe Konturen der Öffnung 27 stabilisiert werden aufgrund der Leimverbindung mit der Kragen-Vorderwand 23. Leimpunkte sind demnach im Bereich von Vorsprüngen bzw. Zungen der Öffnungskontur angeordnet. Bei dem Beispiel gemäß Fig. 1 , Fig. 2 ist ein Leimpunkt 25 zwischen den Beinpaaren der Tierdarstellung positioniert.
Die Innenwand, vorliegend die Kragen-Vorderwand 23, ist im Bereich der Öffnung 27 besonders gestaltet, nämlich mit einer dauerhaften Verformung versehen. Diese ist als Prägung 29 ausgebildet. Der Kragen 22 bzw. der Zuschnitt wird vorzugsweise bei der Herstellung desselben durch entsprechende Prägewerkzeuge mit einer dauerhaften Verformung versehen, die bei der fertigen
2010013576 Packung im Bereich der Öffnung 27 angeordnet ist und hier eine dreidimensionale optische und mechanische Wirkung erzeugt. Die Kragen- Vorderwand 23 erhält durch die Prägung 29 eine höhere Stabilität gegen mechanische Beanspruchungen. Die Prägung 29 folgt der Kontur der Öffnung 27 und ist vorzugsweise in den Abmessungen etwas größer als der Bereich der Öffnung 27. Des Weiteren kann die Prägung 29 unterschiedlich gestaltet sein. Vorteilhaft ist eine Prägung, die mindestens teilweise bzw. überwiegend nach innen gerichtet ist, also bei einem Kragen 22 zum Packungsinhalt weist, im vorliegenden Fall zu einem Zigarettenblock 30. Die Prägung 29 kann so bemessen sein, dass sie an dem Zigarettenblock 30 anliegt und diesen innerhalb der Packung fixiert.
Die Herstellung der Prägung 29 erfolgt zweckmäßigerweise bei der Herstellung eines Zuschnitts für die Packung bzw. für den Kragen 22. Im Bereich eines Kragenapparats, der die Zuschnitte für den Kragen 22 von einer entsprechenden Materialbahn aus dünnem Karton abtrennt, kann die Prägung im Bereich der Materialbahn bzw. des Zuschnitts vollzogen werden, vorzugsweise durch an Schneidwalzen angeordnete Prägeorgane.
Statt einer Öffnung 27 mit Abstand von der Schließkante 28 (oder zusätzlich zu dieser) ist an einem freien Rand der Packung, vorliegend am freien Randbereich der Schachtel-Vorderwand 13, eine Ausnehmung 31 gebildet Diese ist als randseitige, gegenüber dem Deckel 11 offene Vertiefung ausgebildet durch bogenförmige Kontur der Schließkante 28 im Bereich der Ausnehmung 31. Diese ist durch die Schließkante 28 einerseits und - bei geschlossenem Deckel 11 - durch eine quergerichtete Deckel-Schließkante 32 der Deckel-Vorderwand 16 andererseits begrenzt. Bei dem vorliegenden Ausführungsbeispiel (Fig. 4, Fig. 5, Fig. 7) erstreckt sich die Ausnehmung 31 mittig im Bereich der Packungsvorderseite, jedoch nicht über die volle Breite der Schachtel- Vorderwand 13, sodass zu beiden Seiten der Ausnehmung 31 die Schließkanten 28 und 32 bei geschlossenem Deckel 11 unmittelbar aneinander liegen (Fig. 5).
Auch bei der Ausführung gemäß Fig. 4 bis Fig. 8 ist der Kragen bzw. die Kragen- Vorderwand 23 Träger der örtlich begrenzten Verformung des Materials, also der
2010013576 Prägung 33. Diese folgt ebenfalls der Kontur der Ausnehmung 31 und ist geringfügig größer in den Abmessungen. Die Ausnehmung 31 ist demnach von der konturierten Schließkante 28 und einer unteren Deckel-Schließkante - bei geschlossenem Deckel - begrenzt. Die Prägung 33 erstreckt sich bis in einen von der Deckel-Vorderwand 16 bei geschlossenem Deckel 11 überdeckten Bereich der Kragen-Vorderwand 23, endet jedoch mit Abstand von einer üblichen konturierten oberen Kragenkante.
Des Weiteren ist die Prägung 33 in besonderer Weise ausgebildet, nämlich als nach innen gerichtete Vertiefung und mit einer überlagerten Zusatzprägung einer gegenüber dem übrigen Teil der Kragen-Vorderwand 23 zurückgesetzten
Prägewand 34. Diese ist mit zusätzlich geformten Erhöhungen 35 versehen, die als Noppen erscheinen und zur freien Seite, also nach außen vorstehen. Die
Erhöhungen 35 bzw. Noppen sind rasterförmig angeordnet, nämlich in Querreihen und Vertikalreihen.
Die Packung gemäß Fig. 7 und Fig. 8 enthält ein zusätzliches Gestaltungs- und Stabilisierungsmerkmal. Ein freier Rand der Ausnehmung 31, nämlich der bogenförmig gestaltete Bereich der Schließkante 28, ist verformt unter Bildung einer Sicke 36. Diese ist so ausgebildet, dass der Rand 28 der Ausnehmung 31 nach außen gewölbt ist mit nach innen weisendem Rand. Dadurch wird eine sichtbare Kontur gebildet. Darüber hinaus ergibt sich durch die Sicke 36 eine Stabilisierung der Schließkante 28.
Die Konstruktion einer Öffnung bzw. Ausnehmung in Verbindung mit einer zugeordneten Prägung einer Innenwand kann auch für andere Bereiche von Packungen, insbesondere von Klappschachteln verwendet werden. Die Deckel- Vorderwand 16 ist ein vorteilhafter Bereich für diese Konstruktion, wobei diese die Öffnung aufweist und der Deckel-Innenlappen 19 an derselben Stelle mit einer Verformung bzw. Prägung der beschriebenen Ausführung versehen ist. Auch sind die doppellagig ausgebildeten Seitenwände 20, 21 sind für die Anbringung der Kombination Öffnung/Prägung geeignet. Eine weitere Ausführung basiert auf der Grundlage eines zusätzlichen Innenteils in der Packung. Eine Öffnung bzw. Ausnehmung ist bei dieser weiteren Alternative
2010013576 beispielsweise im Bereich der Schachtel-Rückwand 15 angeordnet. An der Innenseite, nämlich zwischen Schachtel-Rückwand 15 und Zigarettenblock 30 ist ein Einsatz, nämlich ein Zuschnitt aus insbesondere dünnem Karton positioniert, der - neben sinnvoller Bedruckung - im Bereich der Öffnung eine Prägung der beschriebenen Ausführung aufweist.

Claims

Patentansprüche
1. Packung aus (dünnem) Karton oder ähnlichem Verpackungsmaterial, insbesondere Zigarettenpackung des Typs Klappschachtel, mit Packungswänden bzw. Teilbereichen von Packungswänden in doppellagiger Ausbildung, wobei eine äußere Packungswand eine durch Stanzung angebrachte Öffnung (27) oder Ausnehmung (31) aufweist, gekennzeichnet durch folgende Merkmale: a) im Bereich der Öffnung (27) bzw. Ausnehmung (31) ist innenseitig eine Lage des Verpackungsmaterials bzw. eine Innenwand angeordnet, b) die innere Lage bzw. Innenwand ist im Bereich der Öffnung (27) bzw. Ausnehmung (31) mit einer dauerhaften Materialverformung versehen, insbesondere mit einer Prägung (29, 33) der Innenwand.
2. Packung nach Anspruch 1 , dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Prägung (29, 33) der Innenwand zur Innenseite der Packung gerichtet ist, also eine Vertiefung gegenüber der die Öffnung (27) bzw. Ausnehmung (31 ) aufweisenden Außenwand bildet.
3. Packung nach Anspruch 1 , dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Prägung (29, 33) der Innenwand Vorsprünge und Vertiefungen aufweist, die alternativ zur Innenseite der Packung und zur Außenseite gerichtet sind.
4. Packung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Prägung (29, 33) der Innenwand zur Innenseite der Packung gerichtet ist und eine zurückgesetzte Prägewand (34) bildet, in deren Bereich Einzelprägungen angeordnet sind, insbesondere Vorsprünge bzw. Erhöhungen (35) und Vertiefungen.
5. Packung nach Anspruch 1 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Prägung (29, 33) der Innenwand hinsichtlich der Form
2010013576 an die Kontur der Öffnung (27) bzw. Ausnehmung (31) angepasst und vorzugsweise etwas größer ist als diese.
6. Packung nach Anspruch 1 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass bei einer Ausführung als Klappschachtel bzw. Hinge Lid
Pack mit Schachtelteil (10), Deckel (11) und Kragen (22) die Öffnung (27) bzw. Ausnehmung (31) im Bereich einer Schachtel-Vorderwand (13) und die Prägung (29, 33) im Bereich einer innenseitig an der Schachtel-Vorderwand (13) anliegenden Kragen-Vorderwand (23) gebildet ist.
7. Packung nach Anspruch 6 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass bei einer ringsherum geschlossenen Öffnung (27) im Bereich der Schachtel-Vorderwand (13) der Kragen (22) bzw. mindestens die Kragen-Vorderwand (23) in Richtung zu einer Bodenwand (14) verlängert ist, derart, dass die im Bereich der Öffnung (27) liegende Prägung (29) vollständig in der Kragen-Vorderwand (23) angeordnet ist.
8. Packung nach Anspruch 1 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Schachtel-Vorderwand (13) eine zur Seite des Deckels (11) offene Ausnehmung (31) aufweist, insbesondere mit einer insgesamt bogenförmigen Begrenzung durch entsprechende Kontur einer quergerichteten Schließkante (28) der Deckel-Vorderwand (13), wobei die Prägung (33) im Bereich der Kragen-Vorderwand (23) in Form und Abmessung der Ausnehmung (31 ) angepasst ist, vorzugsweise geringfügig größer als diese.
9. Packung nach Anspruch 1 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kragen-Vorderwand (23) im Bereich der Anlage an der Innenseite der Schachtel-Vorderwand (13) mit dieser durch Klebung verbunden ist, vorzugsweise mittels Leimpunkten (25), die außerhalb des Bereichs der Prägung (29, 33) verteilt angeordnet sind.
10. Packung nach Anspruch 1 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kontur der Öffnung (27) bzw. Ausnehmung (31) mit einer durch Prägen angebrachten Randverformung versehen ist, insbesondere
2010013576 mit einer den Rand der Prägung (29, 33) bildenden Sicke (36), vorzugsweise für eine Ausnehmung (31) mit bogenförmiger Kontur.
11. Packung nach Anspruch 1 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch
S gekennzeichnet, dass bei konturierten Öffnungen (27) oder Ausnehmungen
(31), also mit Vorsprüngen und Vertiefungen unter Bildung von zungenartigen
Bereichen, und entsprechend ausgebildeter Prägung Leimpunkte (25) im Bereich der Vorsprünge bzw. Zungen oder im Bereich der Rücksprünge angeordnet sind, derart, dass bei komplexen Formen eine stabilisierende Klebeverbindung0 zwischen Schachtel-Vorderwand (13) und Kragen-Vorderwand (23) gegeben ist.
