Description

Arrière plan de l'inventionBackground of the invention

The present invention relates to the technical field of straw-type soil excavating machines for producing rectangular panels.

These machines are used for excavating trenches in the ground, especially for the purpose of producing molded walls consisting of a plurality of rectangular panels.

The invention therefore does not relate to machines having mixing tools for performing soil-mixing operations.

On the figure 1 a cutter type excavating machine 10 as known today is shown.

It comprises a frame 12 suspended at the end of lifting means 14, this frame being provided at its lower end 12a with two wheels 16 driven in rotation by hydraulic motors. The wheels 16 comprise drums with horizontal axes provided with cutting teeth 18 distributed on their peripheries.

These teeth 18 have the role of excavating the ground 20 to transform it into small pieces, debris, which can then be transported by suction using a pipe 22 connected to a suction pump 24 placed at the inside the chassis 12.

During the excavation operation, the chassis descends vertically, driven by its own weight, while remaining suspended from the lifting means.

The frame must also have transverse dimensions close to those of the forming trench to be guided longitudinally by the latter during the excavation operation.

As can be understood by using the figure 1 , the chassis is a very bulky and very heavy because it weighs several tens of tons. This piece is therefore expensive and inconvenient to transport. However, it is necessary because its mass is a ballast that generates a bearing force on the cutting teeth.

Such a machine is also described in EP 0 553 378 . It has a variable length bar which requires a mounting complex power supply lines of the engines. In addition, it has a particularly bulky chassis.

Objet et résumé de l'inventionObject and summary of the invention

An object of the invention is to provide a compact milling type excavating machine and overcoming the aforementioned drawbacks.

The invention achieves its goal by the fact that it comprises:
  • a mast having a longitudinal direction,
  • a longitudinal bar of fixed length which has a lower end provided with two milling tools of parallel and distinct axes, said axes being fixed relative to each other, the two rotary milling tools extending from one side to the other; else from the bottom end of the bar,
  • hydraulic drive means for driving the rotary milling tools, said hydraulic motor means being fed by hydraulic lines which are housed at least partly inside the longitudinal bar,
  • a carriage sliding in the longitudinal direction of the mast, said carriage being intended to exert on the bar a downward thrust force in the longitudinal direction of the mast, and
  • pumping means disposed at the lower end of the bar and for sucking soil debris excavated by the milling tools.

This bar is in the form of a beam that can be full or hollow. In other words, in the sense of the invention, the length of the bar is very large compared to its two other dimensions.

To facilitate its transport the bar is preferably made up of several portions of bar that is put end to end before the use of the machine. The bar therefore has a much smaller footprint than the chassis of the prior art, thanks to which it is easy to disassemble and transport the constituent elements of the excavating machine. Nevertheless, when using the machine according to the invention, the length of the longitudinal bar is fixed, that is to say that you do not add or remove bar portions to change its length.

It is therefore understood that the bar, having a substantially lower mass than the chassis of the prior art, does not have a mass sufficient to exert the bearing force on the milling tools.

According to the invention, the thrust force on the milling tools is essentially achieved by moving the carriage along the mast. In other words, the force exerted by the carriage on the bar, advantageously replaces the weight of the chassis of the prior art.

The carriage can slide along the mast being moved by otherwise known driving members, for example by means of a cable connected to a drive motor disposed on the carrier vehicle.

Another advantage of the invention is that it is possible to precisely modulate the thrust force exerted on the bar by the carriage.

Also, thanks to the invention, is it possible to adapt the cutting force according to the nature of the soil to be excavated.

Preferably, the excavating machine according to the invention comprises at least one discharge pipe connected to the pumping means, this discharge pipe for the evacuation of excavated debris.

Advantageously, the discharge pipe comprises a first portion connecting the pumping means to the upper end of the bar, a second portion connecting the upper end of the bar to a connection box fixed to the mast, and a third portion connected to the connection box, thanks to which it is possible to do without a winder.

Indeed, in the prior art, the carrier vehicle, that is to say the vehicle carrying the means for suspending the frame, is generally equipped with a winder dedicated to the winding of the discharge pipe. It is therefore understood that another advantage of the invention is to be able to use a conventional carrier vehicle that is usually found on the market, which reduces the cost of the machine and its use.

According to another advantageous aspect of the invention, the discharge pipe is housed at least partly inside the bar. Of Preferably, the hydraulic hydraulic supply lines of the pumping means are also housed at least partly inside the bar.

An interest is to avoid the installation of hydraulic pipes or hoses in the trench which could lead to an accelerated damage of the latter.

According to an advantageous embodiment, the pumping means comprise two pumps disposed on either side of the bar, above the milling tools, these pumps being preferentially but not necessarily removable.

The use of two pumps instead of one, as in the prior art, reduces their size, and in particular their size in a direction parallel to the axes of the milling tools. An interest is to be able to mount milling tools having a small axial thickness, as a result of which, the machine according to the invention advantageously makes it possible to produce trenches of smaller thicknesses than those which can be produced with the machine of the art. prior.

Preferably, the thickness of each of the milling tools, considered in a direction parallel to their axes, is between 400 and 600 mm. Such a thickness is generally considered to be a small thickness.

According to another aspect of the invention, considered in a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the bar and a direction parallel to the axes of the milling tools, the transverse size of the milling tools is substantially greater than the width of the bar . An interest is to mill on a thickness greater than the thickness of the bar, and this, despite the absence of chassis.

The invention also relates to a method of excavating a wall in a soil using a milling type excavation machine according to the invention, in which process, during the excavation of the wall, the carriage exerts a descending vertical pushing force on the bar.

This thrust force, the intensity of which is preferably between 15 and 50 tons, makes it possible, as already stated, to exert a sufficient bearing force on the milling tools, and thus to do without a ballast as the chassis of the prior art.

Finally, the invention relates to the use of the excavating machine according to the invention, in order to form a molded wall, known per se, in a soil.

The excavating machine 100 first comprises a carrier 102, preferably a tracked vehicle, for its movement.

According to the invention, the excavation machine further comprises a mast 104 having a longitudinal direction D1 which extends here in a substantially vertical direction. However, without departing from the scope of the present invention, this mast may be slightly inclined relative to a vertical direction.

The mast 104 is fixed to the carrier 102 by holding means 106 which furthermore make it possible to modify the inclination of the mast, for example in order to adapt the excavation to the soil structure.

As we see on the figure 2 , This pole has a lower end 104a and upper end 104b, the lower end 104b is disposed a few meters above the ground surface S.

According to the invention, the excavating machine 100 further comprises a longitudinal bar 108, having the structure of a beam of fixed length, which extends in a longitudinal direction D2, between a lower end 108a and an upper end 108b.

The bar 108 carries at its lower end 108a two rotary milling tools 110, 112. These two tools extend along two parallel axes A1 , A2 and distinct. As we see on the figure 2 , These two axes A1, A2 are perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D2 of the rod 108 and also orthogonal to the trench that is desired. In this example, the two axes A1 A2 are contained in the same plane which is substantially parallel to the surface of the ground S. In addition, the longitudinal direction D2 of the bar 108 is substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction D1 of the mast 104.

Moreover, each milling tool 110, 112 comprises two coaxial cylindrical drums 110a, 110b, 112a, 112b which extend symmetrically on either side of the lower end 108a of the bar 108, and which have outer peripheral surfaces of where radially extending cutting teeth (not shown here).

It is specified that these cutting teeth are of the same type as those of the prior art. Similarly, as in the prior art of the figure 1 These drums are counter. In this example, the axial thickness of each of the milling tools is of the order of 500 mm, whereby the invention makes it possible in particular to make trenches of small thickness.

A cet effet, on pourra utiliser la technologie de motorisation divulguée dans EP 0 262 050 .In a manner known per se, the milling tools 110, 112 are rotated by two hydraulic motors 150 which are housed inside the drums 110a, 110b, 112a, 112b, these motors being fixed to the lower end 108a of the bar. 108 by means of support plates 113. For this purpose, it will be possible to use the motorization technology disclosed in FIG. EP 0 262 050 .

Using the figure 4 it is also understood that the drums of each of the milling tools are symmetrical with respect to a plane of symmetry orthogonal to the axes of rotation of the milling tools.

It is also specified that the axes of rotation A1 and A2 are fixed relative to each other so that the excavated trench has a rectangular geometry.

As we understand it with the help of Figures 2 and 3 During the excavating operation, the bar 108 is moved in the longitudinal direction D1 of the mast 104. To do this, the excavating machine 100 further includes a carriage 114 which is slidably mounted along the mast, as its longitudinal direction D1. Displacement means (not shown here) make it possible to move the carriage 114 along the mast 104 towards one or the other of its ends.

This carriage 114 is fixed to the bar 108 by holding means 116 disposed on the carriage which may optionally be uncoupled from the bar during maintenance or dismantling of the machine.

Of course, during operation of the excavating machine, the holding means 116 are secured to the bar 108.

It is therefore understood that the movement of the carriage along the mast 104 causes the bar 108 to move in the longitudinal direction D1.

Furthermore, the lower end 104a of the mast comprises translation guide means 118 of the bar 108. Preferably, these guide means grip the bar so that the latter is free to slide through said guide means.

En l'espèce, l'intensité de cette force de poussée F est de l'ordre de 30 tonnes, de manière à pouvoir excaver le sol S. On the figure 3 There is illustrated the excavating machine 100 according to the invention during an excavating operation. The milling tools 110, 112 being rotated, the carriage 114 is moved towards the lower end 104a of the mast 104 while exerting a downward thrust force F on the bar 108, and thus on the cutting teeth. In this case, the intensity of this thrust force F is of the order of 30 tons, so as to excavate the ground S.

The excavating machine 100 further comprises pumping means 120 disposed at the lower end 108a of the bar 108, these pumping means being intended to suck the soil debris excavated by the milling tools 110, 112.

These pumping means 120, better visible on the figure 4 , comprise in this case two pumps 122,124, preferably centrifugal type with hydraulic drive, which are arranged on either side of the lower end 108a of the bar 108, above the milling tools 110,112, between two planes orthogonal to the A1 axes , A2 milling tools and passing through the axial ends of the milling tools. However, and without departing from the scope of the present invention, it would be possible to provide only one pump.

These pumps are here housed in two boxes 126,128 whose thickness, considered in a direction parallel to the axes of the milling tools, is less than the thickness of each of the milling tools, as a result of which, the pumps 122,124, and especially their caissons, do not interfere with the milling tools during the excavation operation.

Each of the pumps 122, 124 is provided with a suction nozzle 130 through which soil debris enters.

In accordance with the invention, the pumps 122,124 are connected to the lower end 132a of a discharge pipe 132. As can be seen in FIG. figure 4 , the discharge pipe 132 is essentially housed inside the bar 108 whose interior is hollow. More specifically, the discharge pipe has a first portion 132 ' extending in the longitudinal direction D2 of the bar between its lower end 108a and its upper end 108b, the discharge pipe 132 coming out of the bar 108 by its upper end. 108b. The pipe is then connected to a connection box (not represented here) by a second pipe portion 132 " , this connection box being fixed to the mast 104. Finally, in this example, the third pipe portion 132"' is fixed to the connection box and ends with an outlet mouth that leads to a storage location and / or debris treatment.

Furthermore, the hydraulic motors 150 for driving the rotary milling tools, as well as the hydraulically actuated pumps 122, 124 are supplied with hydraulic energy by hydraulic lines 160 which extend in the bar alongside the (or) 132. In other words, the hydraulic lines 160 follow essentially the same path as the discharge line 132. In addition, the hydraulic lines are connected to a hydraulic source disposed on or near the carrier 102.

It is finally stated that hydraulic channels for feeding the two hydraulic motors arranged in the pairs of drums 110a, 110b, 112a, 112b are preferentially formed inside the support plates 113, like the device of EP 0 262 050 .
