Description

This present invention consists in installing a prevention device in the event of accidental closing of the doors and windows at the level of the most dangerous zone of pinching of the fingers which is that inside the hinge or hinge.

The long exposed rabbet, combined with the enormous pressure exerted by the door or window when closing, is the cause of the most common finger jam accidents and the most serious injuries.

The prevention means previously made are arranged outside the rabbet which leads to unsightly and cumbersome results.

The document FR 24 58666 is the prior art closest to the object of the present invention.

Acier, aluminium, plastique, titane ou autre) il est composé de deux parties :The present spiral device is an entity, made of materials both resistant and having a good yield strength (eg steel, aluminum, plastic, titanium or other) it is composed of two parts:

Partie A : bande collée ou fixée à la face 6 du vantail 4 du côté feuillure 1 (Fig.1).Part A: tape glued or attached to the face 6 of the leaf 4 on the rebate side 1 (Fig.1).

The length of this band 18 ( Fig.7 ) is intended to cover the area of the door at high risk for children 20 and that at high risk for adults 21 ( Fig.10 ). For windows, the length of this band is determined according to the zones at risk according to the location and the model of this one.

The thickness of the strip 18 varies from 0.2 mm to 1 mm determined to allow normal closing of the leaf. In the case where the preparation is carried out at the level of the face 6 of the leaf 4 or at the face 9 of the frame 5 rabbet side 1, a notch to accommodate the band 18, its thickness increases.

This band is flat, adheres and completely marries the face 6 of the leaf 4 rabbet side 1, it occupies this surface in part or in full, the width is variable from 1 cm to 3 cm distance between 13-23 ( Fig.2 ).

Partie B : formée de spires 19 en extension de la bande 18.Part B: formed of turns 19 in extension of the band 18.

These turns are designed in several forms, rectangular plate, double wire or wire (see Fig. 8 ); the choice of shape depends on the materials of manufacture of the spiral (aluminum, steel, plastic, titanium or other).

The distance between turns is about 1 cm for areas at risk for adults 21 and about 0.4 cm for those at high risk for children 20.

La préparation des conduits est réalisée selon deux configurations :The preparation of the ducts is carried out according to two configurations:

The first configuration where the ducts have two orifices 7 and 8 respectively on the faces 9 and 10 of the frame 5; side rebate 1 (face 9), side gond 2 (face 10).

These orifices are designed in round, rectangular or oval shape of sufficient size to allow free movement of the turns ( Fig.8 ).

The length of the ducts depends on the parameters of:
  • The location of the orifice 8 so the greater the distance between the orifice 8 of the edge 17 of the face 10 of the frame 5 hinge side 2 is increased plus the length of the ducts is important ( Fig.11 ).
  • The angulation 11, the realization of the conduit begins with a breakthrough at the orifice 7 located at the face 9 of the frame 5 rabbet side 1, this breakthrough is performed at the beginning in a straight line on the horizontal plane and perpendicular to the plane of the face 9, then one proceeds by an inclination in the horizontal plane towards the gondate side 2 to give a curvature to the conduits, the angle 11 measures the degree of this inclination, the greater the angulation, the longer the length of the ducts is reduced.
  • Angulation 12, the breakthrough at the orifice 8 begins in a straight line in the horizontal plane perpendicular to the plane of the face 10 followed by an inclination in the horizontal plane towards the rabbet. The angel 12 measures the degree of this inclination, the greater the angle, the longer the length of the duct is reduced.

The length of the ducts necessary to accommodate the turns of the leaf with limited opening at 90 ° is less than that required to accommodate the leaf turns with unlimited opening up to 180 ° (see Fig.3, Fig.4 )

The angulations 11, 12 make it possible to give a curvature to the ducts, which facilitates the movement of the turn.

The leaf makes a rotational movement around the hinge or hinge, it is preferable that the ducts have a curvature identical to the arc corresponding to the movement of rotation of the leaf ( Fig.4 ).

In case of a change in the curvature of the conduits to increase their length, spiral-making materials having a high yield strength are used.

Deuxième configuration où les conduits comportent un seul orifice 7 situé au niveau de la face 9 de l'huisserie 5 côté feuillure 1.Second configuration where the ducts have a single orifice 7 located at the face 9 of the frame 5 rebate side 1.

The duct is a channel made in a straight line in the inclined horizontal plane 11 to accommodate the turn without reaching the face 10 of the frame 5 hinge side 2.

The preparation of the conduit is at the level of the frame, and can reach the wall ( Fig.5 ).

Cette présente configuration permet d'avoir un résultat esthétique meilleur vu l'absence de l'orifice 8 mais exige des matériaux de fabrication de spirales de grande propriété mécanique (limite d'élasticité élevée).This present configuration makes it possible to have a better aesthetic result in view of the absence of the orifice 8 but requires spiral-making materials of great mechanical property (high yield strength).

The edge 13 of the strip 18 which gives an extension in turns 19 is placed on the edge 14 of the leaf 4 on the rabbet side 1.

The distances 13-14 and 7-16 are designed low enough to prevent the fingers from entering this space.

The turns are introduced at the face 9 of the frame 5 rabbet side 1 by means of the orifices 7; during the openings and closures of the leaves, the movement of the turns in the ducts is possible thanks to the curvature created by the angulations 11 and 12.

In case the volume of the frame does not allow the preparation of ducts of sufficient length and in the case of leaf with unlimited opening up to 180 °, the ends of the turns out of the orifice 8; To improve the aesthetic result, proceed with the installation of a hollow box cover 22 ( Fig.4 ) in the form of parallelepiped or cylinder.
