Claims (10)
- Method for regulating the pressure in a loom (1), in particular a jet loom, having a pressure regulation system (10) and having a weft insertion system for inserting a plurality of different weft threads (2, 2'), in which, for each different weft thread, a thread store (2a, 2b, 2a', 2b') and a main jet (3, 3') are provided, which main jet unwinds and accelerates the respective weft thread during insertion from the thread store, characterised in that, in the pressure regulation system (10) for a group of main jets together, there are provided a pressure regulator (20) with a pressure sensor (21), a multiway valve (22) and a regulator (23) which is disposed separately from the latter and is connected to the pressure sensor and the multiway valve, and in that the pressure regulator (20) for inserting a weft thread is coupled to the main jet (3, 3') of the group which corresponds to said pressure regulator.
- Method according to claim 1, in addition one or more tandem jets (4, 4') being provided in the weft insertion system for each different weft thread (2, 2') and, in the pressure regulation system (10) for a group of tandem jets together, there being provided a pressure regulator (20) with a pressure sensor (21), a multiway valve (22) and a regulator (23) which is disposed separately from the latter and is connected to the pressure sensor and the multiway valve, and the pressure regulator for inserting a weft thread being coupled to the tandem jet or jets of the group which correspond(s) to said pressure regulator.
- Method according to claim 1 or 2, there being provided in the pressure regulation system for all the main jets (3, 3') together and/or for all the tandem jets (4, 4') together, respectively a pressure regulator (20) with a pressure sensor (21), a multiway valve (22) and a regulator (23) which is disposed separately from the latter and is connected to the pressure sensor and the multiway valve, and the respective pressure regulator for inserting a weft thread being coupled to the main jet or respectively to the tandem jet or tandem jets which correspond(s) to said pressure regulator.
- Method according to one of the claims 1 to 3, there being provided in the pressure regulation system in addition one or more weft thread sensors (13) and a regulating unit which is connected to the weft thread sensors and to the pressure regulator or regulators and, by means of the weft thread sensors, the insertion time and/or insertion speed of the different weft threads (2, 2') being detected and, for each weft thread, the pressure at which the main jet and/or tandem jet/tandem jets which are associated with the relevant weft thread are supplied, being adjusted and/or regulated as a function of the detected insertion time or insertion speed.
- Loom, in particular a jet loom, having a pressure regulation system (10) including a weft insertion system for inserting a plurality of different weft threads (2, 2'), which weft insertion system contains a thread store (2a, 2b, 2a', 2b') for each different weft thread and a main jet (3, 3') in order to unwind and accelerate the respective weft thread during insertion from the thread store and which weft insertion system is connected to the pressure regulation system, characterised in that the pressure regulation system (10) for a group of main jets together contains a pressure regulator (20) with a pressure sensor (21), a multiway valve (22) and a regulator (23) which is disposed separately from the latter and is connected to the pressure sensor and the multiway valve, and in that the pressure regulator can be coupled to the individual main jets (3, 3') of the group.
- Loom according to claim 5, the weft insertion system for each different weft thread (2, 2') including in addition one or more tandem jets (4, 4'), the pressure regulation system for a group of tandem jets together containing a pressure regulator (20) with a pressure sensor (21), a multiway valve (22) and a regulator (23) which is disposed separately from the latter and is connected to the pressure sensor and the multiway valve, and in that the pressure regulator can be coupled to the individual tandem jets of the group.
- Loom according to claim 5 or 6, the pressure regulation system for all the main jets (3, 3') together and/or for all the tandem jets (4, 4') together containing respectively a pressure regulator (20) with a pressure sensor (21), a multiway valve (22) and a regulator (23) which is disposed separately from the latter and is connected to the pressure sensor and the multiway valve, and in that the respective pressure regulator can be coupled to the individual main jets (3, 3') or tandem jets (4, 4').
- Loom according to one of the claims 5 to 7, the pressure regulation system containing in addition one or more weft thread sensors (13) for detecting the insertion time and/or insertion speed of the different weft threads (2, 2') and a regulating unit which is connected to the weft thread sensors and the pressure regulator or regulators, in order to adjust and/or regulate, for each weft thread, the pressure at which the main jet (3, 3") and/or tandem jet (4, 4') which are associated with the relevant weft threads are supplied, as a function of the detected insertion time or insertion speed.
- Loom according to one of the claims 5 to 8, the pressure regulation system containing in addition, for each main jet (3, 3') and/or tandem jet (4, 4'), respectively a valve (17, 17') via which the relevant main jet or tandem jet can be coupled to the respective pressure regulator.
- Loom according to one of the claims 5 to 9, the pressure regulation system containing in addition a pressure line (1) and a pressure tank (18) which is connected to the same and to which the pressure regulator or regulators (20) are connected.
