Claims (7)
- Device for transmitting the motion of a lock box of the multipoint transmission type, in particular to the upper and lower bolts (PH, PB), a lock (S) in particular of the mortise type fixed on the edge opposite the hinges of an intermediate panel lined with vertical jambs (B) and intended for locking the multiple longitudinal panels, hinged between themselves one above the other by horizontal articulations, of a swinging gate built in the structure of a sectional garage door, panels which constitute an assembly inserted in the same vertical plane in the position of a closed sectional door which form a variable angle between themselves when all the longitudinal panels constituting the leaf of the sectional door and the built-in gate (P1) pass from the vertical position to the horizontal position pushed up against the ceiling of a garage, the upper bolt (PH) placed on the highest panel, the lower bolt (PB) placed on the lowest panel, the said bolts being fixed to their respective panel by a means of positioning and fixation of the intermediate bolt box type, and connected to a flexible transmission element (OE) of the motion with the lock (S) by a means of linking, characterised in that the flexible transmission element (OE) is longitudinal, homogeneous and integrally flexible, constituted of, at least, a continuous part extending onto each panel constituting the garage door up to the positioning and fixation means containing the upper or lower bolts, and in that the translation motion of the said flexible transmission element (OE) is guided by means of guiding extending the entire length of the flexible transmission element in such a way as to counter its deformation by flexion over the entire length of each section constituting the gate in the closed position.
- A device according to claim 1 in which the lock (S) is of transmission of motion in the same direction as the upper and lower bolts (PH, PB) and the flexible transmission element (OE) is in two continuous longitudinal parts, one being extended in an unbroken way between the lock and the upper bolt and the other between the lock and the lower bolt, characterised in that the means of locking of the said flexible transmission element (OE) with the part of the lock box (S) which transmits the motion to one of the upper or lower bolts (PH, PB) is constituted of a longitudinal plate (PL) placed under the lockface (T) of the lock box (S), a plate (PL) which includes a part (PL1) which cooperates with the part of the lock box (S) which transmits the motion to the upper or lower bolts (PH, PB), and on its other end a part (PL2) which can be fixed to the flexible device or to a part provided for the purpose, itself fixed to the flexible transmission element (OE) and in that the said longitudinal plate (PL) is machined in its median portion with a toothed rod (C1) placed in parallel to the motion transmitted to the upper and lower bolts (PH, PB), a toothed rod (C1) which cooperates with a fixed pinion (PG) turning on a pin perpendicular to the plane of the lockface (T) and dependent on the latter, the said pinion (PG) simultaneously cooperating with a counter part (R) also machined with a toothed rod (C2) placed in parallel and facing the toothed rod (C1) in order to transmit a motion opposed to that of the said upper or lower bolts (PH, PB) through the flexible transmission element (OE) in order to ensure locking of each of the bolts (PH, PB) into a striking plate provided for the purpose in the edge of the frame on the upper cross-bar and lower cross-bar of the said frame.
- A device according to claim 1 in which the lock (S) transmits motion in the same direction to the upper and lower bolts (PH, PB) and the flexible transmission element (OE) is in a single continuous longitudinal part extending from the upper bolt to the lower bolt characterised in that the lock (S) is fitted with a longitudinal lockface (T) which includes, on the left or on the right of its central part which constitutes its base, angular longitudinal parts orientated towards the jam in order to define a housing closed by the edge of the jamb on which the said lockface is fixed, a housing inside which circulates the flexible element (OE) built on the left or on the right in the lockface (T) according to the direction of opening of the gate, so as to be as close as possible to the plane containing the horizontal rotation axis of the panels and in that the lockface (T) is provided with a hood (C) of identical shape with a section slightly bigger or smaller than the section of the lockface (T) in order to reveal a continuous housing of the flexible element (OE) in the portions of the jambs not covered by the lockface, as well as the jambs where there is no lockface.
- A device according to claim 3 characterised in that the angular longitudinal surfaces of the lockface are constituted on both sides of the base of a first oblique surface (SO, SO1) forming an angle included between 45° and 90°, preferably 60°, orientated towards the exterior or the jamb, followed by a surface parallel to the base of the lockface, itself ending in a surface perpendicular to the base and orientated towards the jamb, the height of the lockface preferably being included between 5 and 6 mm, and in that the oblique surface which forms an angle of 60° is interrupted on each side of the base, in the way of the lock box (S) and the boxes of intermediate bolts, the outer face of the latter replacing the angular longitudinal surfaces to ensure maintenance of continuity of the flexible element (OE) housing.
- A device according to claims 3 and 4 characterised in that the flexible transmission element (OE) has a small section included between 2 and 4 mm, such as a metallic cable which allows good longitudinal transmission, as well a small lockface which can optimise its positioning by minimising the clearances between jambs which facilitates the adaptation of the finger anti-pinching of the gate.
- A device according to claims 3 to 5 characterised in that the flexible element (OE), facing the lock box and the intermediate boxes crosses a machined stud (PU) with a reception bore in which the flexible element (OE) is blocked by a pressure screw (VP) and in which the said stud is fixed on a longitudinal plate (PLO) which cooperates with each of the boxes in order to transmit motion to the bolts.
- A device according to claim 1 characterised in that the guiding means extending over the entire length of the flexible transmission element so to counter its deformation by flexion over the entire length of each section constituting the gate is a housing in the shape of a longitudinal groove obtained by extrusion on the edge in the vertical jamb (B) on the lock side (S) lining each of the panels constituting the gate (P1) as close as possible to the vertical plane containing the horizontal rotation axis of the said panels.
