Claims (4)
- Silencieux pour une installation d'échappement d'un moteur à combustion interne, en particulier sur un véhicule automobile, comprenant- un boîtier (2),- un agencement de conduite d'échappement (5) guidé à travers le boîtier (2),- une chambre d'expansion (3) formée dans le boîtier (2),- au moins une chambre de résonateur (4) formée dans le boîtier (2), un résonateur de Helmholtz (9), dont le col respectif est formé par au moins un tuyau de liaison (6) respectif, disposé dans le boîtier (2),- l'agencement de conduite d'échappement (5) étant guidé sans interruption à travers la chambre d'expansion (3) et présentant une perforation (12) à l'intérieur de la chambre d'expansion (3),- le tuyau de liaison (6) respectif reliant par communication la chambre d'expansion (3) avec la chambre de résonateur (4),caractérisé en ce que- l'agencement de conduite d'échappement (5) présente un tuyau d'entrée (22) et au moins deux tuyaux de sortie (21) ou un tuyau de sortie (22) et au moins deux tuyaux d'entrée (21), qui sont couplés l'un à l'autre par au moins une pièce de couplage (20) présentant la perforation (12) à l'intérieur de la chambre d'expansion (3),- une chambre d'absorption (7) remplie d'un matériau insonorisant (8) est disposée dans le boîtier (2), à travers laquelle le tuyau de liaison (6) est guidé,- le tuyau de liaison (6) à l'intérieur de la chambre d'expansion (3) présente une perforation ou une paroi intermédiaire (17) séparant la chambre d'absorption (7) de la chambre de résonateur (4) présente une perforation.

caractérisé en ce que
la chambre d'expansion (3) et la chambre de résonateur (4) ou la chambre d'expansion (3), la chambre d'absorption (7) et la chambre de résonateur (4) sont disposées axialement les unes derrière les autres par rapport à une direction longitudinale de l'agencement de conduite d'échappement (5).
