Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device handle for a vacuum cleaner according to the features of the preamble of claim 1.
  • Device handles of the type in question are known in a variety of embodiments and are used to handle the vacuum cleaner as a hand-held device. It is also known to arrange on the device handle an electrical connection cable for powering the vacuum cleaner, this connection cable is space-saving wound on a correspondingly formed Garrungsausformung the device handle. In addition, solutions are known in which the electrical connection cable can be removed from the device handle, for direct placement of the same on the vacuum cleaner base unit.
  • connection cable is directly connected to a header.
  • the insertion groove does not extend over the entire stem length. Rather, a handling disturbing free stretching of the connection cable is given already in the area of the device handle.
  • the device handle can be used only in its once given configuration, in connection with the attachment.
  • a comparable embodiment of a device handle is from the US 6,135,209 known.
  • the invention has the object to provide a device handle of the type mentioned, which is designed handling favorable.
  • connection cable has a device plug receptacle, in that the device handle has a handling section, that the insertion groove extends over the entire length of the device handle, and that a relative displacement of inserted plug receptacle and appliance handle is provided in the case of a telescopic longitudinal displacement of the appliance handle.
  • the over the entire length of the device handle extending handling receptacle does not lead to a disturbing free guidance of the connection cable.
  • the device plug receptacle gives a favorable abutment with regard to a telescopic longitudinal displacement of the device handle.
  • the device handle is practically manageable regardless of the leadership of the connecting cable in an insertion.
  • connection cable is in this case in a running in the longitudinal extent of the device handle insertion groove, wherein preferably the depth of the insertion groove corresponds at least to the cable diameter, so that the cable does not protrude with its lateral surface over the contour of the device handle.
  • the solution according to the invention also results in simplified handling during suction work without a device handle, in which the connecting cable is connected directly to the vacuum cleaner body.
  • the connection cable is in the simplest way detachable from the device handle. In this case, it proves to be particularly advantageous if means are present in the insertion groove which hold the received connection cable, for example, in a latching manner.
  • the insertion groove is partially closed by holding baffles.
  • Such mounting baffles may be formed in the form of tongue-like extending over the groove opening device handle sections. According to this embodiment, the removal of the connection cable from the device handle only intentionally possible by the connection cable is pulled past the mounting baffles from the insertion. Furthermore, it is provided that the insertion groove opens to a narrow side of a device stem cross section. It also proves to be advantageous that two mounting baffles are arranged in the opposite direction projecting in the longitudinal direction of the insertion side by side, wherein between the mounting baffles an oriented on the diameter of the electric cable opening remains.
  • connection cable is inserted by looping the opposing projecting mounting baffles into the groove, after which the connection cable is secured by the mounting baffles against an automatic release of the device handle.
  • the remaining between two oppositely projecting mounting baffles opening is chosen so that a slight looping around the mounting baffles can be achieved without kinking of the connection cable.
  • the insertion groove and the retaining baffles consist of a plastic material that protects the connection cable, the opening remaining between two retaining baffles can be equal to or slightly smaller than the cable diameter.
  • the cross section of the insertion groove is preferably chosen to be larger than the cable diameter, so that in the course of the arrangement of the connection cable to the device stem, the connection cable to the final Positioning can also be pulled through the insertion groove.
  • the device remote end of the insertion a cable-friendly outlet opening is formed.
  • the insertion groove extends radially outward widening, whereby at the groove end a kink protection for the inserted connection cable is formed.
  • the device handle has a grip area separate from the insertion slot.
  • the basic unit G has a cantilever over the filter chamber 2 boom 3, at the free end of a plug-in receptacle 4 is formed.
  • a plug-in receptacle 4 is formed in this plug-in receptacle 4, a device stem St is inserted, wherein the insertion portion of the device stem St is formed as an aluminum profile section 5.
  • handling section 6 is preferably produced by the plastic injection method.
  • the device handle St is telescopically displaceable in the usual way in the arm 3 of the base unit G, wherein the desired extension position of the device handle St is latched.
  • the device stem St evenly distributed in the longitudinal extension of the same arranged recessed recesses 7 for the entry of a provided in the region of the plug-in receptacle 4 of the boom 3 locking pin 8 (see Fig. 19 ).

  • the electric area 13 extends essentially in the axial extension of the connection cable 10.
  • the handle 14 of the device connector receptacle 11 extends substantially parallel to the electrical area 13, wherein the between Electric area 13 and handle 14 provided slot 12 opens in the direction of insertion r. Furthermore, the handle 14 is provided on the upper side with a profiling 18 for improved handling. On the underside, the handle 14 has a concave shape 19.
  • the slot 12 facing inner edge of the handle 14 is provided with a rib 20 extending in the direction of insertion r.
  • the device connector receptacle 11 of the connection cable 10 is coupled for electrical contacting of the blower motor arranged in the basic unit G with a plug 22 in the receptacle 4 of the base device-side arm 3, flat plug 21 having device plug 22 coupled, said device plug 22 in the device Plug receptacle 11 is immersed and the tab 21 engage in the correspondingly aligned tab receptacles 15 electrically conductive.
  • the device-side device connector 22 is based on a plan view of the receptacle 4 as shown in FIG Fig. 5 assigned to a lateral area.
  • the formed between the electric area 13 and the handle 14 of the device connector receptacle 11 slot 12 takes in the coupled position to the device connector 22 adjacent wall portion of the boom 3, wherein by intervention of said handling-side rib 20 in a correspondingly shaped and positioned Wandungsnut 23 of the boom 3 is given a further guide the device connector receptacle 11 in the direction of insertion r.
  • the pluggability of the device connector receptacle 11 is independent of whether a device handle St is inserted for use of the vacuum cleaner 1 as a stick vacuum cleaner or whether it is removed to use the vacuum cleaner 1 as an over-floor device.
  • the appliance plug receptacle 11 in particular the electrical area 13 and the adjoining connecting cable 10 lie in an insertion groove 24 which opens outwards to a narrow side of the appliance stem cross-section and whose diameter and opening width adapted to the electrical range dimensions of the device connector receptacle 11.
  • This insertion groove 24 extends over the entire length of the device stem St, wherein the groove cross section in the region of the handling section 6 is reduced.
  • the insertion groove 24 is partially closed in the region of the handling section 6 by tongue-like protruding from the opposite longitudinal edges of the insertion groove 24 mounting baffles 25, wherein first two sides of the Einlegeutabiteses in the handling section 6 two mounting baffles 25 are arranged in opposite directions projecting in the longitudinal direction of the insertion groove 24 side by side. Between these pairs of mounting baffles 25 there remains one each on the diameter of the connecting cable 10 oriented, slit-shaped opening 26th
  • connection cable 10 Due to the arrangement of these mounting baffles 25, the connecting cable 10 is caught in the insertion groove 24. However, intentionally removing the connection cable 10 is made possible, overcoming the Retaining baffles 25. Re-fitting of the connection cable 10 can be facilitated by an elastic configuration of the mounting baffles 25.
  • 25 may be provided between the two end-side pairs of mounting baffles a further, central Garschikane.
  • take-up Garrungsausformonne 27 are provided, around which the connection cable 10 can be wound to save space when not using the vacuum cleaner 1.
