Definitions
- the invention relates to a fuel injection device according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the fastening device comprises a sleeve which is clamped between a shoulder of the fuel rail and a shoulder of the fuel injection valve and is formed of an elastic material. Due to its tubular structure, the sleeve can transfer the hold-down forces to the fuel injector only to a limited extent effectively.
- the claimed by the shoulders of the fuel injection valve and fuel distributor surfaces of serving as holddown sleeve represent the manufacturing in the production of the blank of the sleeve resulting from manufacturing cutting edges.
- the fuel injector is inserted into a receiving bore of the cylinder head and is supported against a support ring, which at a radial extending shoulder of the receiving bore rests.
- the support ring is rounded towards the fuel injection valve and serves as a bearing point of the fuel injection valve in the receiving bore of the cylinder head.
- the support ring may be made of an elastic material and provides for centering and a slight compensation movement of the fuel injection valve in the receiving bore. The tilting movement allows radial tolerance compensation between fuel injector and fuel rail. About an additional clamping of the fuel rail on the cylinder head by means of screws, the sleeve is clamped. This creates a spring force which acts on the fuel injection valve and holds this down against the combustion pressure.
- This design has the consequence that both by the hold-down force and by the fuel in the fuel distributor line inside high pressure of the fuel injection valve is pressed over the support ring in the cylinder head so that an undesirably high structure-borne sound transmission from the fuel injection valve into the cylinder head takes place in the negative Way clearly audible.
- a fuel injector for fuel injection systems of internal combustion engines which comprises a plurality of fuel injection valves, which are respectively introduced into receiving bores for the fuel injection valve in a cylinder head.
- the fuel injector includes a fuel rail with the number of fuel injection valves corresponding connecting piece, in which the fuel injection valves are partially overlapped.
- a cup-shaped screw element is provided, which has an internal thread on its jacket portion, which allows a screw connection together with an external thread on the connecting piece. The screw is arranged such that the fuel injection valve is held in it so that the fuel injection valve and the connecting body are introduced system-free to all not axially parallel to the fuel injection valve extending surfaces or walls of the receiving bore of the cylinder head.
- a fuel injection system for internal combustion engines which also includes a plurality of injection valves.
- Each of the injectors is sealingly connected at its one end via a connecting piece with a plug-in nipple of a common dimensionally stable fuel distribution line.
- each injection valve has a mouthpiece, which is sealingly insertable into a corresponding opening of a suction pipe or a cylinder head.
- Each injection valve is connected by a respective resilient, correspondingly shaped headband, which at least partially surrounds the injection valve and the fuel distributor line or the plug-in nipple, with the fuel distribution line.
- the fuel injection device with the characterizing features of claim 1 has the advantage that the structure-borne sound transmission from the fuel injection valve is significantly reduced in the cylinder head. This is achieved in that the fuel injection valve is connected directly to the fuel distributor line via a connecting body, but is largely decoupled from the receiving bore of the cylinder head.
- the fuel injection valve is arranged in the receiving bore of the cylinder head such that it is introduced system-free to all not axially parallel to the fuel injection valve extending surfaces or walls of the receiving bore.
- the connecting body according to the invention advantageously allows a tilting movement of the fuel injection valve for radial tolerance compensation between the cylinder head and the fuel distributor line.
- connecting body tubular, sleeve-shaped or cup-shaped It is particularly advantageous to make the connecting body tubular, sleeve-shaped or cup-shaped and to connect it firmly to the connecting piece of the fuel distributor line by means of a non-material connection, in particular a press, screw, clip, latching or snap connection. This connection is still secured with a lock nut or a locking ring.
- a non-material connection in particular a press, screw, clip, latching or snap connection.
- This connection is still secured with a lock nut or a locking ring.
- Such compounds make it possible, in particular, to allow a tilting movement of the fuel injection valve for radial tolerance compensation between cylinder head and fuel distributor line in an advantageous manner.
- connection piece In addition to the non-material connections mentioned, it is also conceivable to connect the connecting body or intermediate components cooperating with the connecting body to the connecting piece in a material-locking manner, e.g. using laser welding, resistance welding or soldering. In addition, combinations of form, force and material connection for the desired connections can be used on the connection piece.
- damping disks in the connection region of the fuel distributor line and cylinder head. These damping disks can be used simply or twice in the region of each screw connection of the fuel distributor line to the cylinder head, so that the high-pressure injection system is even more effectively decoupled from the cylinder head and sound-insulated.
- the hold-down as punching-bending part and shape and obstruct the fuel injection device that the stress of bending stress surfaces of the inclined sections and abutment portions of the blank perpendicular to the cutting edges, which are in the extraction of the blank for the Hold-downs from the corresponding sheet arise.

- axially resilient hold-down bracket 13 of the hold-down 10 abuts a downstream end surface 14 of the connecting piece 6 to the fuel rail 4 in the installed state.
- the connecting piece 6 of the fuel distributor line 4 has at its downstream end a partially annular circumferential, protruding collar 15, on which the end face 14 is formed to bear the blank holder 10 with its hold-down bracket 13.
- the hold-down device 10 is interrupted, the hold-down device 10 itself forms a closed bracket element, since the hold-down bar 13 is connected endlessly to the base element 11. In this way, the hold-down 10 can surround the fuel injector 1 and still allows the passage of the electrical connector plug 8.
- the hold-down bar 13 protrudes with its resilient brackets from the connector 8 away.
- the hold-down 10 is used e.g. separated by punching, eroding or laser cutting from sheets of spring steel or stainless steel (with a thickness of about 1.5 mm) and then brought by bending in the desired shape.
- the hold-down device 10 has the advantage that the surfaces of the hold-down 10, in particular inclined sections and abutment sections, which are subject to bending stress, run perpendicular to cut edges which are defined in the removal of the blank for the hold-down 10 from the corresponding metal sheet.
- fuel injection valves are installed in receiving bores of a cylinder head such that they rest directly or indirectly via support rings on radially extending shoulders of the receiving bores.
- Such a structure has the consequence that both by the hold-down force of resilient downers and fittings or tension of the fuel rail on the cylinder head as well as by the pressure in the fuel supply line inside high pressure of the fuel Fuel injection valve is pressed into the cylinder head such that an undesirably high structure-borne sound transmission from the fuel injection valve into the cylinder head takes place, which can be clearly audible in a negative way.

- the fuel distribution line 4 is fastened by means of connecting means 25, in the illustrated embodiment by means of screws, to the cylinder head 17. Is particularly advantageous it, in addition to the decoupling of the fuel injection valve 1 from the cylinder head 17 to provide damping plates 26 in this connection region of the fuel rail 4 and the cylinder head 17.
- damping discs 26 may be disposed in the region below the screw head with a support directly to the fuel rail 4 and / or with a support directly to the cylinder head 17, so that the high-pressure injection system consisting of fuel manifold 4 and a plurality of fuel injectors 1 to the cylinder head 17 out even more decoupled and is better soundproofed.
- the force exerted on the connecting means 25 can be reduced because the force acting on the fuel injector 1 of the fuel under high pressure by the connecting body 18 according to the invention directly received positively at the junction of fuel injector 1 and fuel manifold 4 and not via the connecting means 25 is headed.
