Claims (17)
- A housing (3) with at least two longitudinal housing walls (5) and two transverse housing walls (7a, 7b), for an inscribable pushbutton device which, like a doorbell button, has a receptacle (A) for an inscription bearer (1), such as a name label, and a button means (T), the housing (3) having at least two housing chambers (3a, 3b) separated from each other by a partition (4), of which a first housing chamber (3 a) is allocated to the inscription bearer (1) and the other, second, housing chamber (3b) is allocated to the button means (T), characterised in that the longitudinal side walls (5), at least in the region of the second housing chamber (3b) allocated to the button means (T), have holes (60) for receiving a printed circuit board (20) on which a plurality of switching contacts (21) of the same kind are located, with one switching contact (21) in each case being able to be switched upon operation of the button means (T).
- A housing (3) according to Claim 1, characterised in that the housing chambers (3a, 3b) are closed on the underside by a common housing base (6) and the holes (60) in the longitudinal side walls (5) are arranged in the region of the base, in particular immediately above the base (6).
- A housing (3) according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the holes (60) extend into the region of the first housing chamber (3a) allocated to the inscription bearer (1), with a transverse-wall hole (61) being provided in the partition (4) between the two housing chambers (3a, 3b).
- A housing (3) according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that fastening elements, such as dovetail guide parts (62, 63) which are complementary to one another and are located perpendicular to the longitudinal housing walls (5) are located on the longitudinal housing walls (5) and/or preferably on outer wall projections (64, 65) of the transverse housing walls (7a, 7b).
- A housing (3) according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the button means (T) can be fastened, in particular engaged, via an insert piece (17) in the second housing chamber (3b), for which purpose the housing chamber (3b) has wall guides (30) which cooperate in positive manner with the button means (T) and optionally engagement elements.
- A housing (3) according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterised in that fastening openings (66) for screwing to a mounting base are located in the transverse housing walls (7a, 7b), preferably in (the) outer wall projections (64, 65) of the transverse housing walls (7a, 7b).
- A housing (3) according to one of Claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the housing chambers (3a, 3b) are cuboid or cubic in their basic shape.
- A housing (3) according to one of Claims 1 to 7, characterised in that an underside part in each case of the receptacle (A) for the inscription bearer (1) is formed by upper edges of walls (4, 5, 7a) of the housing chambers (3a, 3b), the upper-side part of the receptacle (A) in each case being formed by a covering plate (8) which can be laid on the housing chambers (3a, 3b).
- A housing (3) according to one of Claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the housing chambers (3a, 3b) are designed such that the receptacle (A) for the inscription bearer (1) and the button means (T) in the mounted state are arranged adjacent, the receptacle (A) having a slot-like opening (2) for introducing the inscription bearer (1), which opening is covered by the button means (T) if the latter is in a rest position and is released if the button means (T) is in a release position for introducing the inscription bearer (1).
- A housing (3) according to Claim 9, characterised in that the housing chambers (3a, 3b) are designed such that the button means (T) in the mounted state in an active position covers the slot-like opening (2) for introducing the inscription bearer (1).
- An inscribable pushbutton device, such as a doorbell button, with a receptacle (A) for an inscription bearer (1), such as a name label, and a button means (T) and also with a housing (3) which has two longitudinal side walls (5) and two transverse side walls (7a, 7b) and at least two housing chambers (3a, 3b) separated from each other by a partition (4), of which a first housing chamber (3a) is allocated to the inscription bearer (1) and the other, second, housing chamber (3b) is allocated to the button means (T), characterised in that the longitudinal side walls (5), at least in the region of the second housing chamber (3b), have holes (60) in which is held, in particular in positive manner, a printed circuit board (20), on which a plurality of switching contacts (21) of the same kind are located, with in each case one switching contact (21) being able to be switched by the button means (T).
- A pushbutton device according to Claim 11, characterised in that the housing (3) has one or more of the features of the characterising clause of Claims 2 to 10.
- A pushbutton device according to Claim 11 or 12, characterised in that two or more receptacles (A) for an inscription bearer (1) in each case, two or more button means (T) and also two or more housings (3) are provided, with the printed circuit board (20) extending through the holes (60) in the housing (3) and each button means (T) in each case being allocated a switching contact (21) of the printed circuit board (20).
- A pushbutton device according to Claim 13, characterised in that pairs of housings (3) which in each case lie with their longitudinal housing walls (5) next to one another are connected by fastening elements located on (the) outer wall projections (64, 65) of the transverse housing walls (7a, 7b), such as dovetail guide parts (62, 63) which are complementary to one another and are located perpendicular to the longitudinal housing walls (5).
- A pushbutton device according to one of Claims 11 to 14, characterised in that the printed circuit board (20) is closed off at the end by an interface (50) which contains a number of connection pins (51) which corresponds to the respective contacts (21).
- A pushbutton device according to one of Claims 11 to 15, characterised in that the receptacle (A) for the inscription bearer (1) and the button means (T) in the mounted state are arranged adjacent, the receptacle (A) having a slot-like opening (2) for introducing the inscription bearer (1), which opening is covered by the button means (T) if the latter is in a/the rest position and is released if the button means (T) is in a/the release position for introducing the inscription bearer (1), the adoption of the release position by the button means (T) being able to be blocked by means of a blocking mechanism (S).
- A pushbutton device according to one of Claims 11 to 16, characterised in that the button means (T) has a key head (10), preferably made of high-grade steel, with a penetration opening (11) for a tool for operating a/the blocking mechanism (S), a first blocking part (13) of the blocking mechanism (S) with an engagement opening (14) for the tool for operating the blocking mechanism (S), a pressure spring (15) of the blocking mechanism (S), a second blocking part (16) of the blocking mechanism (S), an insert piece (17) and a return spring (18) for the key head (10).
