Definitions
- the invention relates to a method and a device for determining a switching time of an electrical switching device with a breaker path, which is arranged between a voltage applied to a driving voltage first line section and after a turn-off of the switching device forming a resonant circuit second line section.
- Switching operations often represent a triggering event for the generation of surges.
- the invention is therefore based on the object of specifying a method and a device for determining a switching time, by which the occurrence of transient overvoltages or oscillation phenomena in an electric power transmission network is limited.
- the object is achieved in that a temporal course of the driving voltage is determined after a turn-off of the electrical switching device, a time course of a occurring in the resonant circuit after the turn-off of the electrical switching device oscillation voltage is determined, a temporal Course of a resulting voltage corresponding to a difference between the driving voltage and the oscillating voltage is determined and at least an increase in the driving voltage and at least an increase in the oscillating voltage are evaluated and a switching time is determined in response to the increases and the time course of the resulting voltage ,
- a time course of the driving voltage is determined after a turn-off of the electrical switching device, a time course of a occurring in the resonant circuit after the turn-off of the electrical switching device oscillation voltage is determined, a time course of one in the resonant circuit After the turn-off operation of the electrical switching device flowing current is determined, a time course of a resulting voltage corresponding to a difference between the driving voltage and the oscillating voltage is determined, at least one increase in the driving voltage and at least one polarity of the oscillating current are evaluated and in dependence the at least one increase of the driving voltage and the at least one polarity of the oscillating current and the time course of the resulting voltage a switching time is determined.
- the self-adjusting resulting voltage may have much higher voltage amplitudes than the driving voltage due to the components contained in the resonant circuit such as coils and capacitors. This is particularly due to the fact that inductors and capacitors Are memory elements that produce time delays. In unfavorable combinations, it can lead to significant increases in peak values. These high voltage peaks have a detrimental effect on the insulation system. Thus, the insulation is dielectrically loaded more heavily than under design conditions. This results in a faster aging of the insulation. In particular, in solid-insulated cable sections such as cables can thus be brought about a deterioration of the service life. In extreme cases, the voltage peaks can be so high that arcing occurs on the lines.
- the time course of the resulting voltage is therefore an essential criterion for determining the switching time of an electrical switching device.
- the selection of the switching time can be optimized by the increases, that is, the gradient of the slope of the driving voltage and the gradient of the slope of the forming in the resonant circuit oscillation voltage is taken into account. In this case, the course of the resulting voltage is considered in each case at a certain time and evaluated at the same time the course of the oscillating voltage or the driving voltage.
- a switching time can be determined, at which an occurrence of overvoltages is particularly effectively limited.
- Various methods can be used to determine the time profiles of the driving voltage, the oscillating voltage and the resulting voltage or the oscillating current. For example, it may be provided to arrange respective measuring devices in the first line section and in the second power section in order to detect the time profile of the required parameters.
- voltage and current transformers can be used on the corresponding line sections. In order to limit the number of current or voltage transformers, only individual transducers can be used and the missing current or voltage profiles can be calculated from the transducer data.
- the data can be recorded in real time and the corresponding voltage / current characteristics can be determined and a switching time can be determined.
- the increase of the voltage curves can be done, for example, by a differentiation of the time course to the corresponding point of interest.
- electronic data processing devices it is possible within a very short time to determine a first derivative at almost any desired time and thus to determine the increase in the driving voltage or the oscillating voltage. It can be provided both to detect the increase in each case quantitatively and thus to easily detect tendencies in the course of the increase from one time interval to the next. However, it may also be provided to evaluate the increase exclusively qualitatively, that is, there is a positive or a negative increase, or certain limits are exceeded or fallen below.
- the polarity of the current can likewise be evaluated with regard to its quantity, that is to say a determination of the value of the oscillating current in terms of magnitude and phase position can take place. About that In addition, however, it can also be provided to merely make a statement as to whether the present oscillating current has a positive or a negative value at certain points in time.
- An advantageous embodiment of the invention may further provide that the switching time is in the vicinity of a zero crossing of the resulting voltage.
- the driving voltage used is often an alternating voltage or a plurality of alternating voltages which are phase-shifted relative to one another in a common system.
- Systems having multiple interrelated AC voltages are also called multiphase AC systems.
- the driving voltage applied to the first line section typically has a constant frequency. On a large scale, preferably 16 2/3 Hz, 50 Hz, 60 Hz and other frequency ranges are used. Due to superposition phenomena in the resonant circuit, triggered by the memory elements contained therein or time-delaying elements, the oscillating voltage may have a different frequency and different peak amounts relative to the driving voltage. In the area of the zero crossing of the resulting voltage, the lowest overvoltages in a switching operation are to be assumed in each case. Therefore, the zero crossings of the resulting voltage are selected as the preferred switching times.
- the vicinity of a zero crossing of the resulting voltage is selected for the switching time at which the driving voltage and the oscillating voltage have increases with the same sense of direction.
- a further advantageous embodiment can provide that for the switching time, the proximity of a zero crossing of the resulting voltage is selected at which the driving voltage has a negative slope and the oscillating current has a positive polarity or the driving voltage has a positive slope and the oscillatory current has a negative polarity.
- the resulting voltage has a comparatively large number of voltage zero crossings. It has been shown that some of these voltage zero crossings represent a more favorable switching time than others.
- a criterion for selecting the most suitable voltage zero crossings of the resulting voltage represent the increases in the driving voltages and the increases in the oscillating voltages. If the increases in the driving voltage and the oscillating voltage have the same sense of direction relative to a zero crossing of the resulting voltage, this zero crossing is particularly a switching instant suitable. Equal increases in this case means that the driving and the oscillating voltage each have a positive increase or a negative increase in each case. In addition, the numerical amount of the increase can also be included in the evaluation and thus a more accurate determination of the switching time.
- a particularly suitable timing point is a zero crossing of the resulting voltage at which the driving voltage has a negative slope and the oscillatory current has a positive polarity, or at which the driving voltage has a positive slope and the oscillatory current has a negative polarity.
- a further advantageous embodiment can provide that the oscillating current flows through a compensation throttle.
- overhead lines are in use. Between the high-voltage overhead line and the ground potential lying below the overhead line, a capacitor arrangement is formed. As a result, the overhead line can act as a capacitor and it is to bring a corresponding charging power in the overhead line.
- so-called compensation chokes can be arranged in the course of the overhead line. These compensation chokes are coils that have a corresponding inductance and compensate for the capacitive load generated by the overhead line.
- These throttles can be designed differently, they are, for example, if necessary, switchable to ground, or changeable in their inductance. Switchable reactors are preferably used at the beginning and at the end of an overhead line.
- such constellations may also occur in underground cable networks in which a corresponding capacitive resistance lining is formed between the electrical conductor and the cable sheath.
- the size of the oscillating current in the second line section is determined. Due to the real components present and the existing due to the conductor material ohmic resistance it comes to loss of resistance, re-magnetization losses, etc., so that the oscillating current or the oscillating voltage is attenuated in the second line section.
- a further advantageous embodiment variant may provide that the time course of the oscillating voltage and / or the oscillating current is determined by means of a Prony method.
- the first line section with the driving voltage drives a current into the second power section.
- the driving voltage is generated for example by means of a generator in a power plant. Due to the imprinting driving voltage, this propagates also in the second line section. Consumers are typically connected in the second line section. These can be for example motors, heaters or even complete network sections, such as industrial customers or a large number of households.
- the driving voltage is now only in the first line section, since the breaker distance is open and the driving voltage can no longer propagate in the second line section.
- In the first line section typically energy-generating devices are present, for example, driving supply networks with corresponding generators or power plants.
- a vibration voltage which drives a vibration current.
- the determination of the time course of the driving voltage is relatively simple, since it can be assumed that a rigid network in which the driving voltage is the formative variable, which remains approximately constant. More problematic is the determination of the course of the oscillating current or oscillation voltage in the resonant circuit. In order to have a corresponding lead time, it is desirable to be able to predetermine a reliable prediction of the course for one or more future intervals from measured values determined within a short interval. For example, a Prony method can be used for this.
- the Prony method offers the advantage of allowing a relatively small number of measured values to be predicted relatively accurately from further voltage or current profiles.
- the parameter h k is the complex amplitude and represents a time-independent constant.
- the complex exponent z k is a time-dependent parameter.
- Eq. (2.8) is the solution of a homogeneous linear difference equation with constant coefficients.
- ⁇ p z a 0 ⁇ z p + a 1 ⁇ z p - 1 + ... + a ⁇ p - 1 ⁇ z + a p
- the parameter z to be determined indicates the zeros of the polynomial.
- the Prony method can thus be summarized in three steps.
- Another advantage of the Prony method for the analysis of current and / or voltage curves is that it can also be used for higher-frequency processes.
- Higher-frequency processes are processes that oscillate in the range of 100-700 Hz.
- the operating frequency range covers the frequencies between 24 and 100 Hz. Under 24 Hz, the lower frequencies are to be understood.
- High-frequency processes occur, for example, when switching switching devices. The high-frequency components superimpose the fundamental.
- a modified Prony method is used to process the determined voltage and / or current data.
- the modified Prony method is similar to the maximum likelihood principle (Gaussian least squares principle). The calculation is based on a fixed p (number of exponential functions, see above). During the calculation, an iterative process is performed, thereby optimizing the accuracy of the voltage and / or current histories to be predicted. By setting tolerance limits for the optimization, the degree of accuracy of the prediction can be varied. Depending on requirements, the necessary computing time can be reduced.
- the modified Prony method is in Osborne, Smyth: A Modified Prony Algorithm for Fitting Functions Defined by Difference Equations, SIAM Journal of Scientific and Statistical Computing, Vol. 12, 362-382, March 1991 presented in detail.
- the modified Prony method is insensitive to "noise" of the voltage and / or current data obtained from the electrical power grid. Such “noise” is when using real components for Determination of the voltage and / or current data unavoidable. Such disorders can only be minimized with a disproportionate effort. Due to the robustness against "noise" of the input signals, the use of cost-effective measuring devices for determining the present voltage and / or current data in the electrical network is possible when using the modified Prony method.
- a device with means for the automated processing of the voltage and / or current data proves to be advantageous.
- the means for automated processing may be designed in a wired-programming manner.
- Such circuits are known as application specific integrated circuits "ASIC".
- ASIC application specific integrated circuits
- Such programmable means for automated processing can be adapted in a simple manner by reprogramming to changing conditions.
- a further advantageous embodiment can provide that the voltage applied across the interrupter gap after a turn-off operation corresponds to the resulting voltage.
- the switch-disconnector In the case of a switch-on or switch-off operation, the switch-disconnector must, as quickly as possible, bring about an impedance change from an ideally infinitely large impedance to an infinitely small impedance or vice versa. Ideally, this should be leaps and bounds. In the present technical However, this is not the case with systems.
- switching elements In the high voltage range switching elements are used with relatively movable contact pieces, which are located within an insulating gas. This insulating gas is preferably sulfur hexafluoride which is under increased pressure.
- a switch-on process for example, even before the galvanically touching of the contact pieces that are movable relative to one another, the onset of a flashover occurs.
- the resulting voltage which forms over the interrupter gap, results from the driving voltage applied to one side of the interrupter gap and from the oscillating voltage applied to the other side of the interrupter gap. Since, as stated above, occur in the occurrence of oscillations in the resonant circuit time delays, so over the interrupter gap much higher voltage amounts can occur, as the rated voltage of the driving voltage suggests. Therefore, the resulting voltage, which adjusts over the breaker distance of the electrical switching device, is a significant quantity that serves to determine a switching time of an electrical switching device. Even an excess voltage must be safely controlled by the electrical switching device.
- the pre-breakdown characteristic of the switching device is taken into account.
- a further advantageous embodiment can provide that, with a progressive damping of the oscillatory voltage and / or of the oscillating current, the switching instant in the vicinity of an arbitrary zero crossing of the resulting voltage is determined.
- an attenuation of the oscillating voltage or the oscillating current occurs in the resonant circuit. If the attenuation is so strong that a metrological detection is no longer possible, it is possible to dispense with the evaluation of the increases in the oscillating voltage or the driving voltage or the polarity of the oscillating current. In order to enable a rapid switching, it is then turned off only on the zero crossings of the resulting voltage and switched to the next possible zero crossing of the resulting voltage. In an advanced damping of the oscillating voltage or the oscillating current, the effects of an increase in the voltage across the interrupter gap of the electrical switching device are negligible.
- the switching time is used for a switch-on of the electrical switching device.
- protective devices In electrical power transmission networks, so-called protective devices are used, which automatically initiate a switch-off process of an electrical switching device in the event of an occurring fault. Often these off operations are triggered by sporadic errors. Some sporadic errors allow a quick restart. A typical sporadic error is located, for example, in the field of overhead lines. An object, for example a branch of a tree, triggers a short circuit on the line. However, the short-circuit triggering event is only of short duration, so that after the failure of the fault (air insulation between the lines and the branch is restored, short circuit event is over) a reconnection of the line can take place. Such engagements are also known as automatic reclosures (ARs).
- ARs automatic reclosures
- the invention also relates to an apparatus for carrying out the aforementioned method.
- the invention here has the object of specifying a device which allows a selection of a switching time.
- the device comprises means for comparing the increase of the driving voltage and the oscillating voltage and / or the polarity of the oscillating current.
- a means for comparing the rise of the driving voltage and the oscillating voltage or the polarity of the jumping current allows a simple selection of the potential switching times to the voltage zero crossings of the resulting voltage.
- the result of such a comparison may be, for example, a yes or no decision regarding the permissibility of a switching operation.
- the FIG. 1 shows an example of a sinusoidal waveform of an alternating voltage with a frequency of 50 Hz.
- inductive loads should be switched as possible in the maximum voltage of a sinusoidal voltage waveform (times 5 ms, 15 ms).
- capacitive loads should each be switched during a voltage zero crossing in order to avoid charging processes on a capacitor (times 0 ms, 10 ms, 20 ms).
- FIG. 2 a basic structure of a line section is shown within an electric power transmission network.
- An electrical switching device has a breaker section 1.
- the interruption path is formed for example from two relatively movable contact pieces.
- a first line section 2 and a second line section 3 are interconnected or separable.
- the first line section 2 has a generator 4.
- the generator 4 supplies a driving voltage which is, for example, a 50 Hz AC voltage of a polyphase voltage system.
- the second line section 3 has an overhead line 5.
- the overhead line 5 is connected at its first end with a first throttle 6 against ground potential 7 and at its second end via a second throttle 8 against ground potential 7 interconnected.
- it can also be provided to connect a further throttle 9 to the second throttle 8.
- an oscillating circuit can be formed after opening the interruption path 1 via the ground potential 7.
- a resonant circuit in the Second line section 3 corresponding current paths must be formed via the switching devices 10 to ground potential 7.
- a resonant circuit is formed via the inductive and capacitive resistors and an oscillating current, which is driven by a vibrating voltage, can flow in the resonant circuit.
- the resultant voltage waveforms forming across the interruption path 1 at different degrees of compensation are shown.
- k 0.8
- a certain frequency curve sets in which has a multiplicity of voltage zero crossings.
- This frequency characteristic has a beat.
- a compensation of 0.3 a correspondingly deviating frequency characteristic sets in, which, however, in turn has a multiplicity of voltage zero crossings.
- the FIG. 4 shows an evaluation and a determination of a switching time of an electrical switching device using the driving voltage A, the oscillating voltage B, the resulting voltage C and the oscillating current D.
- the driving voltage A oscillates at a constant frequency and constant amplitude.
- the oscillating voltage B which is established in the resonant circuit on the second line section 3, oscillates at a specific frequency, variable and with variable amplitudes. This variability is due to the fact that a damping occurs in the system and that additional superimpositions of external influences can occur. From the superimposition of the voltage applied to the first line section 2 driving voltage A and in the second line section 3 adjusting oscillating voltage B creates a time course of a resulting voltage C.
- the resulting voltage C corresponds to the applied voltage across the open circuit breaker.
- the resulting voltage C oscillates with a clearly variable amplitude and there is a phase shift both with respect to the driving voltage A and to the oscillating voltage B.
- Potential switching times are present at the voltage zero crossings of the resulting voltage C.
- the voltage zero crossings are marked with crosses in the course of the resulting voltage C for better visibility.
- not all voltage zero crossings of the resulting voltage C are suitable for a reclosing operation of the interruption path 1.
- the polarity of the oscillating current D is included in the examples shown in FIG.
- the polarity of the oscillating current D is marked in each case with a plus or a minus in the corresponding intervals between the current zero crossings of the oscillating current D.
- the first voltage zero crossing of the resulting voltage D is a positive polarity of the oscillating current D and a positive increase of the driving voltage A, that is, the first voltage zero crossing 1 of the resulting voltage C is not suitable for a switch-on.
- the oscillating current D has a positive polarity, that is, among the zero voltage crossings, the fourteenth voltage zero crossing of the resulting voltage C is particularly suitable for a restarting operation.
- the first and the fourteenth voltage zero crossing are used here only by way of example.
- further voltage zero crossings may be particularly suitable for effecting a switch-on process on the interruption path 1. These can be within the in the FIG. 4 interval or are outside this interval.
- A1 maps the time profile of the driving voltage
- B1 represents the time course of the oscillating voltage
- C1 maps the resulting voltage across the interrupter unit.
- the resulting voltage C1 results from the potential difference between the driving voltage A1 applied to the first line section 2 and the oscillating voltage B1 applied to the second line section side 3 of the interrupting section 1.
- the zero crossings of the resulting voltage C1 again represent potential switching times.
- the increases gradients of the gradient
- both the driving voltage A1 and the oscillating voltage B1 have a negative slope, that is, this timing is particularly suitable for a reclosing operation.
- the driving voltage A1 has a negative slope and the oscillating voltage C1 has a positive slope, that is, the timing t2 and the zero crossing of the resulting voltage C1 entering at that time is not suitable for a restarting operation.
- each additional zero crossing of the resulting voltage may be classified according to the respective associated increases in driving voltage and oscillation voltage, so that there are still further suitable or unsuitable zero crossings of the resulting voltage for a reclosing operation.
- FIG. 6 is a time sequence of the scan X, the calculation Y, the control Z, the re-calculation U or the time interval for the release V shown.
- the voltage profile of the resulting voltage must be determined in advance.
- a time t 0 ms in this case an opening of the interruption distance of the electrical switching device is assumed.
- Within the first 50 ms is a sampling or determination of the course of the driving voltage of the self-adjusting oscillation voltage or the oscillating current and a determination of the resulting voltage in knowledge of the voltage curve of the driving voltage.
- the pre-flashover characteristic of the circuit breaker used 1 can be considered, so that at the latest after 300 or 500 ms reclosing the interrupter unit is done at a time at which an increase in the is limited by voltages within the electric power transmission network. A particularly rapid restart can then take place when in the FIGS. 4 and 5 Time profiles, which are shown by way of example, are calculated from within a very short interval (50 ms or less). By this predetermining a sufficient lead time is made possible, in which all necessary waiting times or lead times can be clocked.
- the time can be scheduled, which is required by the generation of a trigger signal to the queuing of the signal at the triggering device of the electrical switching device with its interruption path 1.
- the rollover characteristic of the interruption path 1 can also be taken into account. This allows even more accurate synchronous switching.
- a pre-flashover characteristic 11 of the interruption path 1 is shown.
- the pre-breakdown characteristic 11 is shown here in simplified form as a linear course having a certain slope.
- a capacitive load for example, to switch an unloaded cable.
- a capacitive load should preferably be switched within a voltage zero crossing.
- the voltage has a sinusoidal profile.
- the rollover characteristic 11 is so steep that an intersection of the voltage curve and the rollover characteristic 11 ideally coincide in a voltage zero crossing.
- Rollover characteristic 11a is an intersection of rollover characteristic 11a and the voltage waveform is given at about 5 ms, that is, a pre-flashover would already occur at that time, but this advances the ideal instant of initiation of an electrical current to the zero voltage crossing. Accordingly, for an ideal turn-on operation of a capacitive load, use is made of an electrical switching device which has a comparatively steep pre-flashover characteristic. In the in the FIG. 7 illustrated embodiment with the Vorzuschschs character 11, fall galvanic contact of the contacts and the rollover at the time 10 ms together and allow almost overvoltage switching of the electrical switching device.
- the rollover characteristic 11 is so steep that inevitably an intersection between the rollover characteristic and the voltage curve is formed. At the time 5 ms will form an arc between the moving contact pieces of the interruption distance 1 and a rollover occur. At the time of 7.6 ms, a contact of the relatively movable contact pieces will take place.
- the FIG. 9 shows a basic structure of an apparatus for performing the method.
- the device comprises means 12 for comparing the increases of the driving voltage A and the vibrating voltage B on. Upon the occurrence of fixed proportions of the increases to each other, a signal 13 is emitted.

Various methods can be used to determine the time profiles of the driving voltage, the oscillating voltage and the resulting voltage or the oscillating current. For example, it may be provided to arrange respective measuring devices in the first line section and in the second power section in order to detect the time profile of the required parameters. For this example, voltage and current transformers can be used on the corresponding line sections. In order to limit the number of current or voltage transformers, only individual transducers can be used and the missing current or voltage profiles can be calculated from the transducer data.
In a suitably equipped system, the data can be recorded in real time and the corresponding voltage / current characteristics can be determined and a switching time can be determined. The increase of the voltage curves can be done, for example, by a differentiation of the time course to the corresponding point of interest. By means of electronic data processing devices, it is possible within a very short time to determine a first derivative at almost any desired time and thus to determine the increase in the driving voltage or the oscillating voltage. The polarity of the current can likewise be evaluated with regard to its quantity, that is to say a determination of the value of the oscillating current in terms of magnitude and phase position can take place. About that In addition, however, it can also be provided to merely make a statement as to whether the present oscillating current has a positive or a negative value at certain points in time.
An advantageous embodiment of the invention may further provide that the switching time is in the vicinity of a zero crossing of the resulting voltage.
In large-scale installations, the driving voltage used is often an alternating voltage or a plurality of alternating voltages which are phase-shifted relative to one another in a common system. Systems having multiple interrelated AC voltages are also called multiphase AC systems. The driving voltage applied to the first line section typically has a constant frequency.
Advantageously, it may further be provided that the vicinity of a zero crossing of the resulting voltage is selected for the switching time at which the driving voltage and the oscillating voltage have increases with the same sense of direction.
A further advantageous embodiment can provide that for the switching time, the proximity of a zero crossing of the resulting voltage is selected at which the driving voltage has a negative slope and the oscillating current has a positive polarity or the driving voltage has a positive slope and the oscillatory current has a negative polarity.
The resulting voltage has a comparatively large number of voltage zero crossings. It has been shown that some of these voltage zero crossings represent a more favorable switching time than others. A criterion for selecting the most suitable voltage zero crossings of the resulting voltage represent the increases in the driving voltages and the increases in the oscillating voltages.
Since in the resonant circuit the oscillating voltage and the oscillating current driven by the oscillating voltage are related to each other and can be converted into each other mathematically, an evaluation of the polarity of the oscillating current is possible instead of evaluating the increases of the oscillating voltage. A particularly suitable timing point is a zero crossing of the resulting voltage at which the driving voltage has a negative slope and the oscillatory current has a positive polarity, or at which the driving voltage has a positive slope and the oscillatory current has a negative polarity. When changing the evaluation of the oscillating voltages to the oscillating current, it is necessary to switch to an evaluation of the polarity, because of the inductances or capacitances contained in the resonant circuit causes a shift between the current and voltage profile by approximately 90 degrees within an AC voltage system.
A further advantageous embodiment can provide that the oscillating current flows through a compensation throttle.
In electrical power transmission networks, for example, overhead lines are in use. Between the high-voltage overhead line and the ground potential lying below the overhead line, a capacitor arrangement is formed. As a result, the overhead line can act as a capacitor and it is to bring a corresponding charging power in the overhead line. In order to limit this charging power, so-called compensation chokes can be arranged in the course of the overhead line. These compensation chokes are coils that have a corresponding inductance and compensate for the capacitive load generated by the overhead line. These throttles can be designed differently, they are, for example, if necessary, switchable to ground, or changeable in their inductance. Switchable reactors are preferably used at the beginning and at the end of an overhead line. Alternatively, such constellations may also occur in underground cable networks in which a corresponding capacitive resistance lining is formed between the electrical conductor and the cable sheath. By the compensation throttle, the size of the oscillating current in the second line section is determined. Due to the real components present and the existing due to the conductor material ohmic resistance it comes to loss of resistance, re-magnetization losses, etc., so that the oscillating current or the oscillating voltage is attenuated in the second line section.
A further advantageous embodiment variant may provide that the time course of the oscillating voltage and / or the oscillating current is determined by means of a Prony method.
When the switching device is switched on, the interruption distance is closed. The first line section with the driving voltage drives a current into the second power section. The driving voltage is generated for example by means of a generator in a power plant. Due to the imprinting driving voltage, this propagates also in the second line section. Consumers are typically connected in the second line section. These can be for example motors, heaters or even complete network sections, such as industrial customers or a large number of households. After a switch-off, the driving voltage is now only in the first line section, since the breaker distance is open and the driving voltage can no longer propagate in the second line section. In the first line section typically energy-generating devices are present, for example, driving supply networks with corresponding generators or power plants. In the second network section, in accordance with its constellation with ohmic, inductive or capacitive components due to the sudden separation of the interruption path and the associated temporal changes, a vibration voltage, which drives a vibration current. The determination of the time course of the driving voltage is relatively simple, since it can be assumed that a rigid network in which the driving voltage is the formative variable, which remains approximately constant.
Compared to other methods, for example a Laplace transformation, the Prony method offers the advantage of allowing a relatively small number of measured values to be predicted relatively accurately from further voltage or current profiles.
- T - Abtastperiode in s
- Ak - Amplitude des komplexen Exponenten
- α k - Dämpfungsfaktor in s-1
- fk - Frequenz der Sinusschwingung in Hz
- θ k - Phasenverschiebung in Radiant
- T - sampling period in s
- A k - amplitude of the complex exponent
- α k - damping factor in s -1
- f k - frequency of the sine wave in Hz
- θ k - phase shift in radians
If the number is odd, then ( p -1) / 2 there are damped cosine functions and a very weakly damped exponential function.
The parameter h k is the complex amplitude and represents a time-independent constant. The complex exponent z k is a time-dependent parameter.
Note that x [ n ] was used instead of y [ n ]. This happens because exactly 2 p complex data points are needed, which correspond to the exponential model with the 2 p complex parameters h k and z k . This relationship is shown in Eq. (2.6) expressed by minimizing the quadratic error.
In Gl.
Knowing the elements z within the matrix results in a number of linear equations with which one can calculate the complex amplitude vector h .
Der zu bestimmende Parameter z gibt die Nullstellen des Polynoms an.The parameter z to be determined indicates the zeros of the polynomial.
In the right part of the summation, the polynomial of Eq. (2.11) again. By a determination of all roots z k one obtains the sought zeros. The Gl. (2.15) is the sought-after linear difference equation, the solution of which is Eq. (2.8). The polynomial (2.11) is the characteristic equation to the difference equation.
In Gl. (2.16) existieren p - Unbekannte. (2.16) ist also überbestimmt.
With the help of the p - equations the p - unknowns can be determined.
The Prony method can thus be summarized in three steps.
Lösung der Gl. (2.17) ⇒ Erhalt der Koeffizienten des Polynoms (2.11)Solution of Eq. (2.17) ⇒ obtaining the coefficients of the polynomial (2.11)
For an estimation of the future time course, it is not necessary to determine the individual parameters. The "forecast" of the further course of the input signal is also possible with the help of the parameters z k and h k , the Eq. (2.8) and a change of the variable n , which is the one to be estimated Time domain reflects. When changing the time step size of the estimation with respect to the sampling but the parameters damping, frequency, amplitude and phase shift must be explicitly determined.
Another advantage of the Prony method for the analysis of current and / or voltage curves is that it can also be used for higher-frequency processes. Higher-frequency processes are processes that oscillate in the range of 100-700 Hz. The operating frequency range covers the frequencies between 24 and 100 Hz. Under 24 Hz, the lower frequencies are to be understood. High-frequency processes occur, for example, when switching switching devices. The high-frequency components superimpose the fundamental.
Furthermore, it may be advantageously provided that a modified Prony method is used to process the determined voltage and / or current data.
It may be provided to provide an apparatus for carrying out the methods described above, which comprises means for the automated processing of the voltage and / or current data using the Prony methods.
Since the processes under consideration run at intervals of a few milliseconds, a device with means for the automated processing of the voltage and / or current data proves to be advantageous. In order to carry out this automated processing particularly quickly, provision may be made for the means for automated processing to be designed in a wired-programming manner. Such circuits are known as application specific integrated circuits "ASIC". However, if sufficiently fast means for automated processing are available, they can be designed to be programmable. Such programmable means for automated processing can be adapted in a simple manner by reprogramming to changing conditions.
A further advantageous embodiment can provide that the voltage applied across the interrupter gap after a turn-off operation corresponds to the resulting voltage.
In the case of a switch-on or switch-off operation, the switch-disconnector must, as quickly as possible, bring about an impedance change from an ideally infinitely large impedance to an infinitely small impedance or vice versa. Ideally, this should be leaps and bounds. In the present technical However, this is not the case with systems. In the high voltage range switching elements are used with relatively movable contact pieces, which are located within an insulating gas. This insulating gas is preferably sulfur hexafluoride which is under increased pressure. In the case of a switch-on process, for example, even before the galvanically touching of the contact pieces that are movable relative to one another, the onset of a flashover occurs. In a turn-off is after the extinction of a Ausschaltlichtbogens, which can be adjusted after the physical separation of the relatively movable contact pieces, a certain re-solidification time necessary in which formed in the switching path contaminated arc extinguishing gas is removed from the switching path and is replaced by unencous insulating.
The resulting voltage, which forms over the interrupter gap, results from the driving voltage applied to one side of the interrupter gap and from the oscillating voltage applied to the other side of the interrupter gap.
Advantageously, it can further be provided that in the determination of the switching time, the pre-breakdown characteristic of the switching device is taken into account.
In addition to the definition of an advantageous switching time, it should be noted that real switching devices have a rollover characteristic. Before there is a contact between two relatively movable contact pieces, the insulating medium lying between the contact pieces is already penetrated by an arc. The way in which a circuit breaker tends to override depends on the design and on the course of the switching movement. Ideally, this flashover should not be present, that is, in each case to the targeted controlled contacting takes place a mechanical contacting of the contacts and a closure of the circuit. However, this ideal conception can not be achieved in practice, so that a so-called pre-flashover characteristic exists for a switching device. This has a certain steepness and can optionally detect an intersection between the characteristic and the voltage curve. At this time, a rollover occurs even if not in galvanic contact located contact pieces.
A further advantageous embodiment can provide that, with a progressive damping of the oscillatory voltage and / or of the oscillating current, the switching instant in the vicinity of an arbitrary zero crossing of the resulting voltage is determined.
Due to the real components contained in the resonant circuit, such as capacitors, coils and ohmic resistors, an attenuation of the oscillating voltage or the oscillating current occurs in the resonant circuit.
Furthermore, it can be advantageously provided that the switching time is used for a switch-on of the electrical switching device.
In electrical power transmission networks, so-called protective devices are used, which automatically initiate a switch-off process of an electrical switching device in the event of an occurring fault. These automatic reclosures are performed in time intervals of 300 to about 500 ms, that is, after a successful switching off the electrical switching device, an automatic reclosing of the switching device is initiated within a time of a maximum of 300 (500) ms. Due to the relatively short interval, high oscillating voltages or oscillating currents can form within the resonant circuit that results. In particular, for the automatic reclosing and / or switching on a switching device shortly after the elimination is the determination of a suitable switching time of importance to flashovers due to voltage increases on to avoid the interruption distance of the electrical switching device. Overvoltages limiting resistors to the electrical switching device are no longer necessary or they can be made smaller.

According to the invention this is achieved in a device for carrying out a method according to the
A means for comparing the rise of the driving voltage and the oscillating voltage or the polarity of the jumping current allows a simple selection of the potential switching times to the voltage zero crossings of the resulting voltage. The result of such a comparison may be, for example, a yes or no decision regarding the permissibility of a switching operation.
