Da der Stellweg begrenzt ist, muss vor Erreichen des maximalen Stellwegs eine Abhebeeinrichtung die Materialbahn anheben, damit die Walze ohne Berührung der Materialbahn wieder in eine Neutralstellung gefahren werden kann. Die Abhebeeinrichtung besteht nach dem Stand der Technik aus einer einzigen Rolle, die pneumatisch verstellbar ist.
