Bedeutend ist, dass der Förderer 3 resp. die Sattelplatten 4 und die Anreibevorrichtung 5 nach dem Zurücklegen der Synchronisationsstrecke sich mit gleicher Geschwindigkeit fortbewegen bis die Anreibestrecke endet. Dadurch kann die Anreibevorrichtung 5 zumindest hinsichtlich Synchronisationsstrecke gesteuert und geändert werden. Weiterhin lässt sich die Anreibevorrichtung nach einem der aufliegenden Buchdecke und/oder einer Form eines Buchblocks entsprechenden Ansetzpunkt einer beginnenden Synchronisationsstrecke steuern bzw. veränderbar steuern. Es wird auch möglich sein, die Länge einer Anreibebewegung der Anreibevorrichtung 5 nach einer durch einen Buchblock resp. einen Buchdeckel bestimmten Anreibestrecke zu steuern resp. veränderbar zu steuern. Die Anreibebewegung der Anreibevorrichtung 5 kann manuell eingestellt oder verstellt werden. Die Anreibbewegung der Anreibevorrichtung 5 kann mittels Rechner programmgesteuert sein.
Die Anreibebewegung der Anreibevorrichtung 5 kann nach der Position eines durch den Förderer 3 transportierten Buchblocks 2 gesteuert bzw. veränderbar gesteuert sein. Das als Elektromotor ausgebildete Antriebsorgan könnte ein Linearmotor oder ein Torquemotor sein, wie in Fig. 6 gezeigt. Ein Torquemotor ist u.a. für hohe Drehmomente ausgelegt und lässt sich winkelgenau steuern. An der Antriebswelle des Torgueqmotors 26 ist ein Hebel 29 befestigt, der an dem freien Ende durch eine Verbindungsstange 30 mit der an einem Führungselement 22 verschiebbaren Anreibevorrichtung 5 verbunden ist.
