Description

  • Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist eine Druckform.
  • Zum Schutz oder zur Veredelung von Oberflächen können diese nach der Bedruckung zum Beispiel durch Offset- oder Flexo-Druckverfahren mit einem Glanzlack versehen werden. Diese Glanzlacke können sowohl in wässriger als auch in organischer Lösung vorliegen und können durch UV oder Wärme gehärtet werden.
  • Aus der DE 198 04 672 A1 ist eine Hochdruckform bekannt, bei der sich zwischen einer Trägerschicht und einer farb- oder lackübertragenden Schicht eine vor mechanischer Beschädigung bewahrende Schutzschicht befindet. Diese Schicht soll die Trägerschicht vor mechanischen Verletzung bewahren und besteht im wesentlichen aus Aluminium, biaxial gerecktem Polyester oder Edelstahl. Solche Schutzschichten sind teuer und aufwendig in der Handhabung.
  • Aus der DE 198 04 671 A1 ist eine Hochdruckform bekannt, die besonders an die Erfordernisse einer Lackübertragung angepasst ist.
  • Diese bekannte Hochdruckform für Lacke hat den Nachteil, dass die hochwertigen lackübertragenden Schichten in Abhängigkeit von der benötigten Stärke der Druckform schwierig herzustellen sind und die Handhabung entsprechend dicker Polyurethanschichten schwierig ist.
  • Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung war es daher, eine Druckform bereit zu stellen, die mit der oben genannten Druckform vergleichbare lackübertragende Eigenschaften aufweist, jedoch eine einfachere Herstellung erlaubt.
  • Überraschenderweise wurde nun gefunden, dass die Aufgabe gelöst wird durch eine Druckform mit den Merkmalen des Patentanspruchs 1.
  • Die erfindungsgemäße Hochdruckform weist eine Füllschicht 3 auf, die sich zwischen der lackübertragenden, hydrophilen Schicht 2 und einer Trägerschicht 1 befindet. Die Dicke der lackübertragenden, hydrophilen Schicht kann daher entsprechend verringert werden. Trotzdem werden vergleichbar gute Produkteigenschaften der Druckform erreicht.
  • Typischerweise ist bei der erfindungsgemäß hergestellten Druckform die Dicke der Füllschicht 3 größer als die Dicke der lackübertagenden, hydrophilen Schicht. Typischen Trägerschichten liegen im Bereich von 300 bis 400 µm, die Stärken für die hydrophile, lackübertragende Schicht liegt im Bereich von 80 bis 400 µm. Druckformen haben üblicherweise Stärken von 1.150, 1.350 oder 1.950 µm, so dass die Stärke der Füllschicht 3 im Bereich von ca. 350 bis 1.200 µm, bevorzugt 550 bis 950 µm liegt.
  • Die Figur 1 zeigt schematisch den Aufbau der erfindungsgemäßen Druckform.
  • Für die Füllschicht 3 eignen sich Materialien mit gummi- oder kautschukelastischen Eigenschaften, insbesondere Polyethylene, Silikone, NitrilKautschuke, Butyl-Kautschuke, Polypropylene, Polyvinylchloride und Mischungen davon. Die Füllschicht besteht zu mindestens 50 Gew. % aus diesen Stoffen, mehr bevorzugt zu mindestens 70 Gew. % und am meisten bevorzugt zu mindestens 80 Gew. %.
  • Geeignete Materialien für die Trägerschicht sind insbesondere Polyethylentherephthalat, Polycarbonat, Aluminium und Edelstahl.
  • Bevorzugte Materialien für die lackübertragende Schicht 2 sind Polyurethane, urethanmodifizierte Epoxidharze, Silikone, modifizierte Silikone oder Mischungen davon, da diese geeignete hydrophile Oberflächen ergeben. Darüber hinaus kann die lackübertragende Schicht 2 Polyether, aromatische Polyether oder Polyetherpolyole enthalten.
  • Entsprechende Schichten weisen bevorzugt eine Shore (A)-Härte von 40 bis 90 (DIN 53505) und eine Oberflächenrauhigkeit von Ra 0,05 bis 5,0 µm und/oder Rz 0,5 bis 10 µm auf.
  • Die hydrophile Schicht weist bevorzugt Oberflächenenergien ≥ 35, bevorzugt ≥ 40, mehr bevorzugt ≥ 45 mN/m auf.
  • Je nach verwendeter Druckmaschine kann die Hochdruckform eine Platte (Metall und Metall-Kunststoffverbund) oder ein Tuch (Folie oder Folienlaminat) sein.
  • Die erfindungsgemäßen Druckformen eignen sich insbesondere zur Auftragung von Lacken innerhalb oder im Anschluss an Flexo- und Offset-Prozesse zur Veredelung des Druckproduktes. Bevorzugterweise können die Lacke dazu in wässriger Lösung vorliegen. Es können auch Dispersionen und/oder Emulsionen sein.
  • Die erfindungsgemäßen Druckformen sind herstellbar durch ein Verfahren, bei dem eine Füllschicht 3 auf eine Trägerschicht 1 aufgetragen wird und auf die Füllschicht 3 eine lackübertragende, hydrophile Schicht 2 aufgetragen wird. Geeignete Verfahren sind hierfür Beschichten, Kaschieren, Laminieren und Coextrudieren. Dabei kann die Füllschicht auf die Trägerschicht mit einem geeigneten Klebersystem auflaminiert werden, auf die dann die hydrophile lackübertragende Schicht aufgeklebt wird. Alternativ können auch die hydrophile Deckschicht und die Füllschicht auf die Trägerschicht coextrudiert werden. Darüber hinaus ist auch eine dreifache Coextrusion von Trägerschicht, Füllschicht und hydrophiler Deckschicht möglich.
  • Die Erfindung wird durch das folgende Beispiel näher erläutert.
  • Auf eine Trägerschicht aus Polyethylentherephthalat (Mylar® A 350 µm, Fa. DuPont) wird über ein geeignetes Bindersystem (Henkel Liofol® UR 2780) eine weiche PVC-Folie (700 µm Stärke) aufgebracht und auf diese eine Polyurethanfolie mit einer Dicke von 80 bis 100 µm mit einem zur PVC-PU-Verklebung geeigneten Klebersystem (Henkel Liofol® UR 2780) laminiert.
  • Die hydrophile Deckschicht zeigt geeignete physikalische Eigenschaften.

Claims (10)

  1. Druckform für Druckverfahren mit einer Trägerschicht (1) und einer lackübertragenden, hydrophilen Schicht (2), dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sich zwischen der Trägerschicht (1) und der lackübertragenden, hydrophilen Schicht (2) eine Füllschicht (3) befindet, die zu mindestens 50 Gew.-% aus Polyethylen, Silikonen, Nitril-Kautschuken, Butyl-Kautschuken, Polypropylen, Polyvinylchlorid oder Mischungen davon besteht und wobei die lackübertragende Schicht (2) eine Stärke von 80 bis 400 µm aufweist.
  2. Druckform gemäß Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die lackübertragende Schicht (2) Polyurethane, Urethan modifizierte Epoxidharz-Mischungen, Silikone, modifizierte Silikone oder Mischungen davon enthält.
  3. Druckform gemäß Anspruch 1 und/oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die lackübertragende Schicht (2) Polyether, aromatische Polyether und/oder Polyetherpolyole enthält.
  4. Druckform gemäß mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Druckform eine Platte oder ein Tuch ist.
  5. Druckform nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Dicke der Füllschicht (3) größer ist als die Dicke der lackübertragenden, hydrophilen Schicht (2).
  6. Druckform nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5 dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die hydrophile, lackübertragende Schicht (2) eine Oberflächenspannung über 28, bevorzugt über 40 mN/m aufweist.
  7. Verwendung von Druckformen gemäß mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6 für die Auftragung von Lacken innerhalb oder im Anschluss an Flexo- oder Offset-Prozesse zur Veredelung des Produktes.
  8. Verwendung gemäß Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Lacke in wässriger Lösung, Dispersion und/oder Emulsionen vorliegen.
  9. Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Druckform gemäß mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass auf eine Trägerschicht (1) eine Füllschicht (3) aufgebracht wird, auf die eine lackübertragende, hydrophile Schicht (2) aufgetragen wird.
  10. Verfahren nach Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Auftrag durch Beschichten, Kaschieren, Laminieren oder Coextrudieren erfolgt.
