Definitions

  • the invention relates to a method for the production of filter cigarettes, cigarette rods double length are cut into cigarette rods of simple length, between these a filter plug double length is introduced, this double-length filter plug with the two cigarette rods simple length by wrapping by means of a tipping paper leaflet is connected and by a following separation cut through the double-length filter plug cigarettes normal length of use arise.
  • the invention relates to another method for the production of filter cigarettes.
  • the invention relates to a filter attachment machine.
  • an apparatus for producing filter cigarettes having means of receiving double length cigarette rods, means for cutting these double length cigarette rods into cigarette rods of simple length, means for inserting double length filter plugs between the cigarette rods of simple length, means for connection the double-length filter plug with the two cigarette rods of simple length by wrapping with a tipping paper sheet, which is separated by means of a cutter from a supplied tipping paper strip, with means for performing a separating cut through the double-length filter plug, so that filter cigarettes normal use length arise. If a sequence of cigarette rod filter plug-cigarette rod groups arranged transversely axially one after the other is fed as a single-lane material flow to a covering device, then this is a single-lane filter attachment machine. In a double-lane filter attachment machine, two streams of material are conveyed with articles to at least one covering device. In particular, in a two-lane filter tying machine, two lining devices are provided for one material flow in each case.
  • DE-C-37 06 751 discloses a device for the production of filter cigarettes, which provides for two double-length processing of two double-length cigarette rods two lining feeds for two tipping paper strips for simultaneous double-lane processing.
  • DE-C-37 06 753 shows a method and apparatus for transferring rod-shaped articles of the tobacco processors Industry of a four-row in a double-row formation, wherein the articles are formed in the transverse axial direction.
  • the cross-axially consecutively arranged and conveyed pairs with formed tobacco rod filter plug tobacco rod groups are fed to a first coating apparatus, so that the padding apparatus of a first group of items of a pair a pad paper leaflets is attached.
  • the single-lane mass flow is divided into two partial streams, so that the particle groups provided by a tipping paper sheet are wrapped and at the same time the second article groups not yet provided with a tipping paper leaflet are fed to a second coating apparatus.
  • the double-length filter cigarettes of both partial streams produced on a conveyor drum are brought together to form a single-lane mass flow.
  • This object is achieved by a method for producing filter cigarettes, wherein cigarette rods of double length are cut into cigarette rods of simple length, between these a filter plug double length is introduced, this double-length filter plug with the two cigarette rods simple length by wrapping by means of a tipping paper leaflet is connected and through a subsequent separation cut through the double-length filter plug filter cigarettes normal use length arise, which is further developed in that two Materlalströme with cigarette rod filter plug cigarette rod groups are conveyed side by side longitudinal axis offset, the articles of the first stream of material are provided with tipping paper and then the articles of the other material stream are provided with tipping paper leaflets.
  • a covering device is provided in each case for each material stream, consisting of a series of cigarette rod / filter-filter groups arranged one behind the other, the attachment of the lining-paper leaflets to the articles of the two material streams taking place one after the other and the material flows adjacent to one another in the region of attachment of the tipping paper leaflets be funded in parallel. It is thereby achieved that the transport paths for the tipping paper papers or tipping paper strips and the transport paths of the material streams do not intersect, so that in addition to an increase in production output, good accessibility to the articles or intermediate products at the filter tufting machine in the region of the covering devices is achieved.
  • the production capacity on the double-lane tipping machine is doubled if two streams of material are simultaneously transported at the same conveying speed as in the single-lane tipping machine. Moreover, it is a simplification that the material flows are guided side by side, whereby it is not necessary to supply the material streams in different ways to the respective pad means. As a result, the structural complexity is reduced to a Filteransetzmaschine because the two streams of material on the same funding, ie winningtrommein be promoted.
  • the articles of the material streams preferably alternately, conveyed offset to one another, so that, for example, arranged on a conveyor drum between two successively longitudinally axially arranged articles of a material flow an article of the other material flow longitudinally offset axially.
  • the articles of the two material streams are conveyed side by side alternately in the grooves of the conveyor drums.
  • the articles of material streams are formed from articles of a stream of feedstock.
  • tobacco rods of double length are transferred as a raw material flow from a single-lane cigarette rod machine to the filter attachment machine.
  • cigarette rod filter plug cigarette rod groups are formed as intermediates after execution of appropriate procedures, which are divided into two material streams in a subsequent step.
  • the streams of material are obtained by spreading the articles of feed stream, e.g. formed on a spreading drum.
  • the articles are pulled apart longitudinally apart.
  • the intervals of the articles of each material flow are shortened prior to attachment of the tipping paper leaflets, so that more articles with reduced pitch are placed on a conveyor drum.
  • the production speed of the filter attachment machine is increased.
  • the transverse axial distance between two cross-axially spaced articles of a material stream should be greater than the length of the tipping paper leaflets to be adhered.
  • the distances of the articles of the output current are shortened. Before two streams of material arise from the stream of starting material, the transverse axial distances of the articles or the intermediates of the stream of starting material are reduced. Since the feedstock stream is split into two streams of material, the cross-axial spacings between the articles of the feedstock stream may be less than the length of the tipping paper sheets to be adhered since the attachment of the tipping paper sheets occurs only after the feedstock stream is split into two streams of material.
  • the tipping paper leaflets are wrapped around the articles of the first material stream before the tipping paper leaflets for the second material flow are adhered to the articles of the second material stream.
  • a secure wrapping of the article of the first material flow is achieved.
  • the articles of material streams after wrapping are combined with the respective tipping paper leaflets into a material stream so that the manufactured cigarette rod filter plug cigarette rod groups of both material streams are cut at a cutting device on a conveyor drum into filter cigarettes of normal use length.
  • the articles of the first and second streams of material are conveyed with a larger transverse axial distance between the articles than the articles of the output stream.
  • Article components are understood to mean articles which are part of a filter cigarette. According to the invention, constituents put together in a partial flow, ie article components, are provided for further processing into a filter cigarette.
  • Complementary article components are understood to mean the supplemental components for a filter cigarette so as to complement the article components and the complementary article components and a filter cigarette of single or multiple length result.
  • the invention is based on the idea that filter cigarettes are produced in succession on a conveyor track on a multi-lane filter attachment machine, while the article components are transported on another conveyor track parallel to the production of filter cigarettes on the first conveyor track. Following this, the article components with supplementary, d. H. complementary, associated article components, so that filter cigarettes are also produced on the second web.
