Description

Lebensmittelverpackung mit Kleπ-melementen Food packaging with adhesive elements
The invention relates to a food packaging, in particular an egg carton, with a lower part which has at least one row of recesses for receiving individual pieces of food, in particular eggs, and a lid part which is arranged foldably on the lower part, the lower part and the Cover part are provided with complementary clamp elevations and clamp openings.
Egg boxes with complementary clamping elevations and clamping openings on the lower part and on the upper part are known per se (for example FR-A-2 441 549). In the known packaging, however, the clamping elevations and the clamping openings are arranged such that when egg cartons are stacked one on top of the other, the clamping elevations of an egg carton engage in the clamping openings of the egg carton above or below. Although this arrangement of the clamping elevations and clamping openings permits a secure bond between egg boxes stacked directly one above the other, this proves to be disadvantageous if egg boxes are to be removed individually, for example for sale. In addition to the jamming of egg boxes stacked directly one above the other, the arrangement of the clamp elevations and openings in the known egg boxes does not offer any additional functionality. The invention has for its object to provide a food packaging of the type mentioned, in which the functionality of the clamping elements is improved.
The solution according to the invention lies in a food packaging with the features of claim 1. Advantageous further developments result from the subclaims.
According to the invention, in the case of a food packaging, in particular an egg carton, with a lower part which has at least one row of recesses for receiving individual pieces of food, in particular eggs, and a lid part which is foldably arranged on the lower part, the lower part and the Cover part are provided with complementary clamping elevations and clamping openings, it is provided that the clamping openings are arranged on one of the two, the cover part or the lower part, and the clamping elevations on the other of the two, the lower part or the cover part, the clamping openings being offset laterally are arranged in relation to the clamp elevations.
The configuration according to the invention ensures that the clamping elevations and clamping openings of food packages stacked directly one above the other are not aligned with one another and therefore cannot interlock. This prevents jamming of egg packages stacked directly one above the other. Nevertheless, and this is the whistle of the invention, food packages stacked on top of one another can be connected to one another by clamping, if they are arranged offset to one another. This offers surprising additional functionality. Traditionally, food Packaging, after its content has been used up, no further function; they are thrown away after their content is removed. The invention provides a second possible use for food packaging, in particular for egg cartons. Because of the complementary clamp elevations and openings, the food packaging that is empty after use can still be used, namely as clamp modules. Thus, the food packaging according to the invention can still serve as a toy after it has served its packaging function. Since food packaging has relatively large dimensions in comparison to classic clamping blocks, it is particularly suitable for the formation of comparatively large structures, such as the construction of play castles for children, which cannot be produced with conventional clamping blocks or only with disproportionately high expenditure. Thanks to their size, they enable rapid construction even of large structures. In addition, the food packaging according to the invention has the advantage that it is available as clamping blocks almost free of charge.
Dank der damit erreichten Stapelbarkeit verringern sich sowohl für den Hersteller wie auch für dasThe arrangement of the clamp elevations and clamp openings according to the invention also has the advantage that the stackability of the food packaging remains unimpaired in the open state. The packaging can still be stacked in the open state and, if necessary, also easily unstacked. So that this unstacking (denesting) can be easily accomplished, the clamping elevations and / or clamping openings are preferably not higher or lower than a maximum nesting height. The amount of the maximum nesting height depends on the specific parameters of the respective food packaging, in particular the desired denesting capacity and the required space requirements. Depending on the material thickness and the coefficient of friction of the material, the nesting height is generally between 4 and 15 mm and is preferably between 7 and 9 mm. Thanks to the stackability thus achieved, both for the manufacturer and for the
Packing companies can reduce storage costs and packaging more efficiently.
The clamping openings are expediently arranged in such a way that, when the cover part is in the closed state, they are arranged approximately centrally over two clamping elevations adjacent in a row. With such an offset, several food packaging according to the invention can be arranged particularly well in a composite with one another. As a result, stable wall sections running over longer distances can be built up or even corner connections can be created.
For a better connection of several food packaging in the composite, the upper edge of the lid part is expediently designed such that its distance from the terminal opening closest to the edge is at most as large as the free distance between adjacent terminal elevations. Free space is understood to mean the clear width between two adjacent clamp elevations. With this design it is achieved that the clamping elevations of an attached food packaging either engage in the clamping openings on the lid part of the lower food packaging or are located beyond the upper edge of the lid part. This prevents jamming bumps from lying directly on the top of the lid part, which would position the upper food packaging at an angle and prevent the food packaging from sitting securely and correctly. The clamping elevations and the clamping openings expediently have a taper of 2 ° to 15 °, preferably 7 ° to 9 °. With such a taper, a good security of the clamp connection can be achieved, on the one hand, but on the other hand, it enables the food packaging to be separated with sufficient ease, without the need for excessive force. This applies in particular to the denesting of food packaging stacked in the open state.
The clamping elevations are preferably provided with a ring structure as a bulge on their lower edge. A ring structure which has a toroidal design has proven particularly useful, so that a toroidal recess is formed. Due to its shape, it forms an increased elasticity in this area, by means of which the packaged food is particularly well protected against damage due to impact, for example due to hard placement. Such bulges not only improve the protective function, they also improve the overall visual impression of the food packaging.
It is understood that a corresponding number, for. B. four, clamping openings are to be provided. With this number, a stable clamping connection of several food packaging can be achieved in the network. Of course, eight or more clamp elevations can also be provided. According to a particularly preferred embodiment, which possibly also deserves independent protection, the cover part has a trough which is open at the top and a covering means which covers the trough at the top. Open to the top here means that the trough is closed
Condition of the cover part is accessible from the outside. This means that on the one hand an additional stiffening element is available with the trough, on the other hand it is achieved that the trough and the covering means create a space in which objects can be inserted. The covering means prevents the inserted object from accidentally falling out of the trough. For this purpose, the cover means is designed so that it forms a closed receiving space in connection with the trough. The flanks and the bottom of the trough preferably have no openings or only openings with a clear width which is small enough to prevent an undesired passage of the objects to be inserted. The objects to be inserted have preferably already been inserted by the supplier of the food packaging, but may also only be inserted when the food is packed or later by a dealer. The item can be, for example, notes with recipe information or small items, in particular children's toys, an egg spoon and / or a portion bag with spices. The customer then not only receives the food contained in the food packaging, but also the object placed in the trough as added value. In addition to its securing function, the covering means has another important effect. The user must first remove the covering means from the trough in order to access the object contained therein. This unpacking creates a joyful expectation for the user. attitude towards what will appear under the cover, similar to the surprise effect when unwrapping gifts. Since the user already knows when buying the food that he will later experience this pleasant surprise effect, the food packaging is presented to him in a favorable light when the purchase decision is made. The food packaging according to the invention therefore fulfills the important function of packaging, namely to particularly encourage the goods contained in the shooter to encourage the customer to make a purchase.
In addition, the trough also has a stiffening effect for the cover part. With its flanks, it forms additional ribbing for the cover part, which gains rigidity. This also improves the protective function of the food packaging according to the invention. Overall, there is a surprising combinatorial effect, namely that on the one hand the food packaging is stiffened and thus the ingested food is better protected, and on the other hand the presentation is improved in that a receiving space for small objects is created.
The covering means is preferably a sticker. This allows the trough to be covered in a particularly rational and cost-effective manner. In addition, the sticker provides a printing area that can be used for further presentation purposes or for other advertising prints.
In the case of food packaging with two rows of mold recesses, the trough is expediently arranged such that it is located above the middle between these two rows. det. However, several troughs can also be provided, which are then preferably arranged parallel to one another.
It is expedient if the cover part is provided with holding depressions which are preferably connected to the trough. The holding depressions additionally stiffen the cover part. In addition, they can be shaped in such a way that they interact with the pieces of food to be picked up, in particular with an egg carton with the top of the eggs. This can prevent undesirable movements of the eggs in the mold recesses, such as occur, for example, when an egg carton is moved quickly, particularly during transport. If the trough is connected to the holding depressions, this also has the advantage that a substantially larger receiving space is created with increased rigidity of the cover part.
The trough and the holding depressions expediently have approximately the same depth. This ensures that the bottoms of the respective depressions are at the same height, so that they form a flat surface overall. This has the advantage that the lid part and thus the entire food packaging is given an attractive appearance than would be the case at different depths with the resulting jagged structure of the sole. The trough can also have a greater depth than the holding recesses, so that a groove is formed in the area of the trough in the receiving space. On the one hand, such a channel can be quite desirable for the objects to be inserted. On the other hand, the channel has an additional stiffening effect, so that the rigidity of the cover part is further improved. The trough and / or the holding depressions preferably have a depth which is not greater than a maximum nesting height of the food packaging. Limiting the depth to the maximum nesting height improves the stackability of the food packaging when it is open and not yet filled. A particular advantage is that the food packaging can be stacked even with a trough already closed by the cover. This is particularly advantageous in the case when the covering means is a sticker, such as a label. Then already labeled food packaging can be stacked. This makes it possible to label the food packaging before filling it and to provide it with the objects to be inserted. The nesting height is usually between 4 and 15 mm and is preferably between 7 and 9 mm.
The holding recesses are preferably arranged laterally offset from the mold recesses. Laterally offset means that the holding recesses in the cover part are not arranged exactly above the respective shaped recesses of the bottom part, but are offset horizontally, so that a holding recess is arranged approximately in the middle over two recesses adjacent in a row. With the offset arrangement, a smaller number of holding depressions is sufficient to act on all packaged food items in the food packaging. For example, four holding recesses are sufficient for an egg carton for six eggs. To further stiffen the holding recesses, it can be useful if the holding recesses have a bulge on their sole exhibit. This bulge can be concave or preferably convex, ie curved upwards.
The holding recesses are expediently designed as clamping openings and the shaped recesses as clamping elevations. For example, the mold recesses can be provided with a lower edge which is dimensioned such that it engages non-positively in the clamping openings. In this way, the food packaging can be designed as a clamping module with little additional effort.
Darin zeigen:The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the egg cartons shown in the drawing as exemplary embodiments. In it show:

An egg carton according to the invention is shown in FIG. 1 in the opened state and in FIG. 2 in the closed state. The egg carton, designated as a whole by the reference number 1, comprises a lower part 2 and a lid part 3, which can be hinged to the lower part 2 by means of a flexible hinge 25. Stigt, and a sticker 7 attached to it (see Fig. 3). In the closed state, the cover part 3 lies on the lower part 2 and covers it completely. The cover part 3 is brought into its open position by pivoting the cover part 3 about the axis of the bending hinge 25 by approximately 180 °. In this, the lid part 3 is located approximately in one plane with the bottom part 2. In this position, several egg packagings can be stacked to save space.
The bottom part 2 has a plurality of shape recesses for receiving eggs. In the illustrated embodiment, the mold depressions 21 are arranged in two parallel rows of three mold depressions 21 each. The recesses 21 are formed by appropriate design of the wall of the base part 2 and by two supports 23 arranged in the middle. The recesses are designed so that the eggs inserted in them do not touch each other. In order to fix the cover part 3 in the closed state, two retaining lugs are arranged on a front side of the base part 2.
The cover part 3 is trough-shaped and consists of a rear part, an upper part 31, two side parts 32 and a front part 33. In the front part 33, two openings 34 are arranged, which are intended to cooperate with the lugs 24 of the bottom part 2 in order to Lock the lid part 3 in the closed state with the bottom part 2. In the closed state, the cover part 3, together with the base part 2, delimits an interior space in which the eggs are arranged in a protected manner. The design of the upper part 31 of the cover part can be seen in more detail in FIG. 2. The upper part 31 is delimited by an upper edge 30. The upper part 31 is provided with four holding recesses 36. The holding recesses 36 are arranged offset with respect to the shaped recesses 21 of the bottom part 2, in such a way that in the closed state of the egg carton 1, the holding recesses 36 are each arranged centrally over two directly adjacent mold recesses 21. In the egg box 1 shown in the exemplary embodiment with six shaped recesses 21, many holding recesses 36 are thus arranged in the upper part 31 of the cover part 3. The holding depressions 36 each have a sole 38, which contain a convex recess 37 which is curved upwards. The recess 37 serves to stiffen the sole 38 of the holding recess 36. With the edge of the sole 38, each of the holding recesses 36 is stabilized on the upper side of the eggs, which are arranged in the series-shaped mold recesses 21. It is not absolutely necessary for this that the eggs touch the edge of the sole 38 in the inserted state; this will often not be the case, especially with smaller eggs. Rather, the effect of the holding recess 36 is to limit unwanted movement of the top of the eggs. Damage caused by eggs beating against one another in adjacent recesses 11 as a result of abrupt and rough handling of the egg carton can thereby be avoided. The holding depressions 36 also serve to additionally stiffen the cover part 3. Egg carton 1 can thus better protect the packaged eggs from damage. This also improves the stackability of the egg carton 1. In Fig. 4 several egg boxes 1, 1 ', 1''are shown in the clamping assembly. Also shown is another egg box 1 *, which is not in a clamped connection with the other egg boxes. As can be seen from FIG. 4 or in detail also from FIG. 2, the lower part 2 of the egg packaging 1 has a clamp elevation 5 at the respective lower ends of the mold recesses 21. This is designed as a peripheral edge of the respective mold recess 21. On the cover part 3, the holding recesses 36 are formed in such a way that they act as clamping openings 6. The dimensions of the clamping elevations 5 and clamping openings 6 are coordinated with one another in such a way that the clamping elevations 5 can be non-positively received in the clamping openings 6. Since the holding recesses 36 are at the same distance from one another as the shaped recesses 21 with their clamping elevations 5, several egg boxes 1, l 1 can be connected in a staggered manner to one another. The upper edge 30 of the cover part 3 is expediently drawn in so far that its distance from the next clamping opening 6 is less than the distance of the clamping elevations 5 from one another. This ensures that when an egg carton 1 is staggered on another egg carton 1 ', none of the mold depressions 5 collide with the upper part 31 of the lid part 3. An oblique fit of the upper egg box 1 is avoided. This ensures a secure press fit.
The offset arrangement of the clamping elevations 5 and the clamping openings 6 also has the effect that egg boxes 1, 1 * stacked exactly one above the other cannot jam with one another. This can be seen in the upper part of FIG. 4. This has the advantage that filled egg boxes, which are usually or stacked directly on top of each other for sale, cannot clamp together. This avoids in a simple but effective manner that when the top egg carton 1 'is removed, an egg carton 1 located underneath or an entire stack of egg cartons is inadvertently moved as well, causing the stack to fall over and thus damage the eggs could come.
Furthermore, the offset arrangement has the advantage that, when the egg cartons 1, 1 'are stacked exactly on top of one another, the clamping elevations 5 each rest on the upper part 31 and are not located above clamping openings 6, so that they have to be carried by the sticker 7. This counteracts the risk of the sticker 7 being damaged by overloading.
As can further be seen from FIG. 4, a plurality of egg cartons 1, 1 ″ can correspondingly also be connected to one another by means of a corner. This enables the construction of corner structures.
By means of the clamping elevations 5 on the underside and the clamping openings 6 on the upper side, the egg cartons 1 can be fed to a second use as clamping modules. Since they are available inexpensively and have relatively large dimensions, they are suitable as toys for small and large children. With the egg boxes as clamping blocks, relatively large structures can be built quickly and inexpensively, for example playhouses or play castles.
According to a further aspect of the invention, a trough 4 is arranged approximately in the middle of the upper part 31 of the cover part 3. The trough 4 is aligned parallel to the axis of the bending hinge 25 and extends over at least half of the cover part 3, in the example shown approximately over a% of the length. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the trough 4 connects all four holding depressions 36 to one another. This creates a receiving space 40 which, seen from above, has the shape of a rounded letter "H". In the embodiment shown in FIG. 2, a bottom 41 of the trough 4 lies lower than the bottom 38 of the holding recesses 36. This creates a central channel within the receiving space 40. It goes without saying that the sole 41 of the trough 4 can also be higher than the sole 38 of the holding recesses 36. In the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 4, the sole 41 lies at the same height as the sole 38 of the holding recesses 36 the connection of the holding recesses 36 with the trough 4 resulting receiving space 40 is relatively spacious. It is suitable for receiving elongated objects as well as objects with an irregular shape, for example a bottle opener with its widened end. The length of the trough 4 is expediently chosen so that the object to be picked up can be conveniently placed therein. The length does not necessarily have to be predetermined by the spacing of the holding recess 36, it can also be chosen to be larger or smaller depending on the respective requirements.
In order to be able to easily separate egg boxes stacked in the open state, the flanks of the trough 4 and the holding recess 36 are inclined with respect to the vertical. The size of the inclination depends on the material properties, in particular the material thickness and the coefficient of friction, and is usually between 2 ° and 20 °, preferably between 6 ° and 9 °. This means that the stacked egg boxes can be optimally unstacked again, which means that there is good denestability.
Um ein Herausfallen des in dem Aufnahmeraum 40 eingelegtenTo prevent the one inserted in the receiving space 40 from falling out
It is glued onto the upper part 31 of the cover part 3 such that it extends over the four holding recesses 36 and the trough 4, so that the entire receiving space 40 is covered by the sticker 7. The sticker 7 is not only used to prevent the inserted object from falling out. It also has the function of hiding the object inserted in the receiving space 40 from the user's eye. Thus, the user only knows what kind of a thing when the sticker 7 is removed from the lid part of the egg carton 1
Object hides behind it in the receiving space 40. This creates a very desirable surprise effect, the egg carton leaves the user with a more emphatic and positive impression. The sticker 7 has the further advantage that it still provides a printing area that can be used for product information or advertising. The size of the sticker shown in FIG. 3 is arbitrary as long as it covers the trough 4 and the holding connection 36 sufficiently. The sticker can also be made much larger, so its front can be pulled down to the lower edge of the front part 33 of the cover part 3.
