Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a fuel supply piping system a heater, in particular vehicle heater.
In the used mainly in vehicles as auxiliary heaters or auxiliary heaters additional fuel-operated heaters, especially heaters, equipped with a combustion chamber assembly of the evaporator burner type In general, liquid fuel is generally first introduced into an evaporator medium introduced and in this evaporator medium under utilization the Kapillarwirkung promoted or distributed. The evaporator medium is constructed of porous or braided material and distribute and convey the fuel towards a combustion chamber, so that it on the combustion chamber facing side of the evaporator medium evaporate and together with the existing in the combustion chamber Combustion air can burn. The quality of such a Heater running off combustion essentially depends on one As even distribution of combustion over the volume of the Combustion chamber and thus a correspondingly uniform as possible Fuel distribution or distribution of the air / fuel vapor mixture in the combustion chamber off. To get an even distribution of this mixture It is also to support the fuel delivery into the combustion chamber For example, known on an inner surface of a combustion chamber limiting wall to provide a channel arrangement through which the liquid fuel introduced via a fuel supply line then coarsely pre-distributed before it enters the evaporator medium and there is further distributed finely. Furthermore, it is known in the evaporator medium Even to provide such formations, the one Kapillarförderwirkung preceded or superimposed fuel gross distribution ensured. Also the use of deflecting elements for fuel distribution is known. Alles These measures require some difficult to perform However, manufacturing operations and can not ensure that the by providing these measures, intended fuel distribution in the desired type is obtained. In particular the installation of such Heater on different vehicles in different mounting positions Often, despite the provision of these measures can lead to a comparatively uniform fuel introduction is not obtained. By the systems described above, by which a Fuel pre-distribution takes place, it can happen that already in partially vaporized this system fuel. This can be over the Operating life for the deposition of heavy boiling Lead fuel components, so that in extreme cases, individual channels or Channel areas of such a distribution system clogged and thus be made ineffective.
It is the object of the present invention to provide a fuel supply piping system in a heater, in particular vehicle heater to provide with which with a simple structure an improved distribution of Fuel introduction into a combustion chamber assembly can be obtained.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by a fuel supply line system in a heater, in particular vehicle heater, for Supplying liquid fuel to a combustor assembly comprising a fuel line assembly, at least in its to the Combustion chamber subsequent area a plurality of different Areas of the combustion chamber assembly opening fuel lines includes.
The present invention thus provides that the fuel introduction into the Combustion chamber assembly is not carried out at a locally very limited area, but that by providing multiple fuel lines directly and without special measures in the area of the combustion chamber assembly the fuel is distributed at several positions in the combustion chamber assembly can be initiated. This simplifies the construction in particular the combustion chamber assembly and allows in a simple manner also the adaptation to different installation situations. It can thus with the inventive design of a Brennstoffzuführleitungssystems one of the mounting position much less dependent and more even Fuel distribution or targeted fuel supply with a corresponding improved quality of running in the combustion chamber assembly Burning be achieved.
For example, it may be provided in the system according to the invention, that the combustion chamber assembly is a combustion chamber forming, in Essentially cup-shaped combustion chamber housing with an outer circumferential wall includes, and that at least two of the fuel lines in different Introduce the peripheral areas of fuel in the direction of the combustion chamber.
As already mentioned above, it can be used to even out the Fuel distribution will continue to be advantageous if on an inside of the Außenumfangswandung a liquid fuel from the fuel lines receiving evaporator medium is provided.
According to another aspect of the present invention can be provided that at least one of the fuel lines in a Igniter organ receiving secondary chamber opens. Even with such Embodiment, it may in turn be advantageous if in the Secondary chamber fuel from the opening into this at least one Fuel line receiving evaporator medium is provided.
In providing such a sub-chamber, the generated therein used very high temperatures or the combustion starting in it to initiate ignition in the combustion chamber itself, is further suggested that the secondary chamber in conjunction with the combustion chamber is.
To make sure that even if the ignition is already done and the intended in the secondary chamber igniter is no longer energized is, if necessary, further fed into the secondary chamber fuel for combustion can be used in the combustion chamber itself will continue proposed that the evaporator medium of the auxiliary chamber with the Evaporator medium of the combustion chamber in liquid communication connection stands.
According to another aspect of the present invention may be provided be that the fuel lines in their from the combustion chamber assembly remote end area connected to a fuel supply line are which fuel supply line to a fuel metering pump connected.
In order to obtain a further homogenization of the fuel supply and while still independent of the delivery characteristics of a metering pump or the like. to be able to be provided that at least a part of Fuel lines for fuel delivery formed under capillary action is. In this way it is ensured that only through the Capillary action of the fuel lines a defined Brennstoffeinleitverhalten is obtained.

also Benzin oder Dieselkraftstoff.
In the figures, a fuel supply piping system is generally indicated at 10.
By this
In Fig. 1 can be seen further a
20 durchsetzen. It should be noted that the foregoing basic structure

also beispielsweise Metall, aufgebaut sind. The fuel
The
So
By the above-described embodiment of the
Brennstoffleitungen 38, 40, 42 hinsichtlich ihres Förderquerschnitts so ausgestaltet
According to another aspect of the present invention, the
According to another aspect of the invention, it is possible to use the
To ensure that even after ignition and no more
Through the use of a inventively designed
By the achievable with the inventive system more even Fuel distribution is possible, with shortened preheating or preheating a faster start-up of the heater to its rated power sure. Experiments have shown that the time required for this from previously usually 300 seconds to 400 seconds to now 60 seconds to 80 sec., So about 1: 5 of the time required so far can be lowered. Further is the continuous, continuous startup of the heater or the Heating power of the same easier and also the stepless adjustment of Heating power is favored. It has also been shown that when using a such line system, the power control range of a so equipped Heater can be significantly extended. While so far a Range from about 1.5kW to about 10kW, about 1: 6, is now a range of about 1 kW to 15kW, so about 1:15, acquired.
Furthermore, by providing a conduit system according to the invention the range of achievable or possible mounting positions of a Heater significantly expanded, so that functionality in the Operating positions horizontal, vertical (90 °) and upright (90 °) ensured is without any fuel supply related problems in the Distribution of the fuel can be generated.
