Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for accelerated wetting of laundry in a speed-controlled driven drum of a program-controlled drum washing machine with means for detecting the amount of filled into the drum laundry and with a controllable fresh water filling device and a measuring device for the amount of water and for the level of Washing liquid and with a control device for influencing the course of movement of the loaded drum.
- the invention is therefore based on the object to make sure in a method described above under acceleration of the mesh phase that the subsequent washing in each case sufficient washing liquid is available and that depending on the load and the Absorbency of the Wäschepostens only as much water is consumed, as is absolutely necessary.
- the program section for wetting comprises at least three phases in which in the first phase dependent on the absorbency, to be introduced amount of fresh water is or is determined.
- a ratio between the degree of the current amount of water and the current liquor level is carried out to measure the amount of fresh water to be filled and this relationship is set in relation to the gradient of the leach level increase. Then no overfilling of the tub of the washing machine will take place, because at the beginning too much water for a possibly below average absorbent laundry items was already filled.
- the drum In another phase, after reaching the amount of water introduced into the tub, the drum is moved for a first certain time in a manner that achieves uniform moistening of the laundry load, and in the last phase the drum is stopped and / or at a Wet the laundry suitable speed a second certain time continuously driven and driven in one direction and set the required amount of washing liquid required for the subsequent washing phase until the end of the second specific time and possibly filled and then the drum at a suitable speed for washing intermittently and reversing driven.
- intelligent control systems can learn from data on the completed filling processes to better calculate the amount of laundry estimated before the start of the filling process. Overall, this results in a finer adjustment of the amount of water to be filled even at higher loadings.
- Fig. 1 illustrated by the dashed line diagram 1 for the amount q of the filled water.
- the solid line 2 shows the drum movement on the basis of speed levels n.
- the first phase A in which the inflowing water quantity and the liquor level are measured continuously, lasts about two minutes and is characterized by rapid filling with fresh water and by slow drum rotation with approx. 25 rpm continuously in one direction.
- the ratio of the measured values of the liquor quantity and the liquor level or their difference contain an indication of the absorbency capacity of the laundry lot. Together with the value for the gradient of the Laugenstandzuddling during the rotation of the laundry drum can be calculated from these measurements quite accurately .der the value of the amount of laundry costs or for its Automatsaugschreib and thus the amount for the initial filling with fresh water. Instead of the calculation, a predetermined amount for the first filling may have been set, which is based on a minimum absorbency of a laundry item to be treated.
- the drum begins to rotate about three times at intervals and reversing at about 50 rpm.
- This phase serves to intensify the wetting of the laundry, which is expressed in a sinking over the duration of the phase B Laugenstand. Instead of or in addition to this measure, other measures to intensify wetting may also be used.
- the gradient of this Laugenstandsenkung can turn very sure close to the amount of laundry, whereby the accuracy of the estimated value in the first phase A value can be significantly improved.
- the measured value of the current liquor level also gives the possibility of determining the type of washing via the absorbency capacity in comparison to the total amount of water that has flowed.
- the phase B lasts about three minutes and ends with the transition of the drum movement from the reversing operation in the continuous operation with again only about 25 rpm. In the transition may also be a more or less long drum standstill phase.
- the settling phase C any level control of the washing liquid is avoided.
- the laundry has time to continue to fill with water, absorbing water to a certain extent.
- the superficial fiber wetting penetrates deeper into the fibers.
- the direction of rotation of the drum may advantageously be chosen that in which the water is distributed by scooping the drum particularly effective over the laundry.
- Phase C lasts about half a minute, but despite its brevity, it is very important because it avoids the need for an additional refueling process later, for example, when the absorption process has been delayed.
- the controller has gained so much data on the course of the suction processes from the measurements of the inflowing water quantity and the liquor level that it was possible to calculate a specific quantity for a final fresh water supply that seldom exceeds 0.5 liters.
- phase D the subsequent washing process
- the drum can be stopped again for a more or less short time.
- the comparison of the method according to the invention with methods of the prior art in Fig. 2 For the sake of simplicity, only the level characteristics for the liquor container filling are shown.
- the horizontal dashed lines show the upper and lower switching points of the level control.
- the middle thick dashed and the thick solid line respectively shows the Level characteristic for a load of 3 kg or 5 kg dry laundry and filling process according to the invention.
- the thin dotted line shows the level line in a prior art filling process, with different loading levels being expressed only in the number of refueling operations. From this comparison, the advantage of the method according to the invention can be clearly seen.
- the filling with washing liquid required for washing is much more complete than in the prior art. Therefore, the actual washing process, which begins with reaching the required level and the required temperature, has recently begun much earlier and is also freed of additional cold water and associated temperature drops.

Description
The invention relates to a method for accelerated wetting of laundry in a speed-controlled driven drum of a program-controlled drum washing machine with means for detecting the amount of filled into the drum laundry and with a controllable fresh water filling device and a measuring device for the amount of water and for the level of Washing liquid and with a control device for influencing the course of movement of the loaded drum.

The invention is therefore based on the object to make sure in a method described above under acceleration of the mesh phase that the subsequent washing in each case sufficient washing liquid is available and that depending on the load and the Absorbency of the Wäschepostens only as much water is consumed, as is absolutely necessary.
This object is achieved by a method in which the program section for wetting comprises at least three phases in which in the first phase dependent on the absorbency, to be introduced amount of fresh water is or is determined. In this case, a ratio between the degree of the current amount of water and the current liquor level is carried out to measure the amount of fresh water to be filled and this relationship is set in relation to the gradient of the leach level increase. Then no overfilling of the tub of the washing machine will take place, because at the beginning too much water for a possibly below average absorbent laundry items was already filled. In another phase, after reaching the amount of water introduced into the tub, the drum is moved for a first certain time in a manner that achieves uniform moistening of the laundry load, and in the last phase the drum is stopped and / or at a Wet the laundry suitable speed a second certain time continuously driven and driven in one direction and set the required amount of washing liquid required for the subsequent washing phase until the end of the second specific time and possibly filled and then the drum at a suitable speed for washing intermittently and reversing driven.
The measures according to the invention have proved to be very suitable after numerous attempts. In almost all loading variants advantages could be found in the criteria of the task described above.
The method according to the invention can be advantageously designed by numerous variations, as indicated in the subclaims.
But the other measures specified in the dependent claims each contribute to improve the task-related effect. It is also prevented that by unpredictable and not to be defined refilling steps as in known methods for measuring the amount of washing liquid, the washing efficiency is impaired, because temperature shocks and fluctuations in the detergent concentration can disturb about the smooth flow of the washing process. In addition, the heating of the washing liquid in most cases can begin sooner and be more uniform than in the prior art, because the radiator-covering level of the filled water is reached faster.
Furthermore, intelligent control systems can learn from data on the completed filling processes to better calculate the amount of laundry estimated before the start of the filling process. Overall, this results in a finer adjustment of the amount of water to be filled even at higher loadings.

The ratio of the measured values of the liquor quantity and the liquor level or their difference contain an indication of the absorbency capacity of the laundry lot. Together with the value for the gradient of the Laugenstandzunahme during the rotation of the laundry drum can be calculated from these measurements quite accurately .der the value of the amount of laundry costs or for its Gesamtsaugfähigkeit and thus the amount for the initial filling with fresh water. Instead of the calculation, a predetermined amount for the first filling may have been set, which is based on a minimum absorbency of a laundry item to be treated.
As soon as the third subset of fresh water is filled, in the further phase B, the drum begins to rotate about three times at intervals and reversing at about 50 rpm. This phase serves to intensify the wetting of the laundry, which is expressed in a sinking over the duration of the phase B Laugenstand. Instead of or in addition to this measure, other measures to intensify wetting may also be used. The gradient of this Laugenstandsenkung can turn very sure close to the amount of laundry, whereby the accuracy of the estimated value in the first phase A value can be significantly improved. The measured value of the current liquor level also gives the possibility of determining the type of washing via the absorbency capacity in comparison to the total amount of water that has flowed.
The phase B lasts about three minutes and ends with the transition of the drum movement from the reversing operation in the continuous operation with again only about 25 rpm. In the transition may also be a more or less long drum standstill phase. During this last phase, the settling phase C, any level control of the washing liquid is avoided. In this phase C the laundry has time to continue to fill with water, absorbing water to a certain extent. The superficial fiber wetting penetrates deeper into the fibers. As the direction of rotation of the drum may advantageously be chosen that in which the water is distributed by scooping the drum particularly effective over the laundry.
Phase C lasts about half a minute, but despite its brevity, it is very important because it avoids the need for an additional refueling process later, for example, when the absorption process has been delayed. In the meantime, the controller has gained so much data on the course of the suction processes from the measurements of the inflowing water quantity and the liquor level that it was possible to calculate a specific quantity for a final fresh water supply that seldom exceeds 0.5 liters. With this last filling the required and just sufficient amount of total required washing liquid is actually defined so precisely that the subsequent washing process (phase D), during which the drum is again rotated intermittently and reversing at about 50 rpm, by no further cold fresh water more is disturbed. Also before or during the last fresh water addition, the drum can be stopped again for a more or less short time.
