Claims (10)

  1. Whirehood device for holding a cork on the neck of a bottle, comprising a partially twisted wire whirehood (5) and a whirehood plate (8) made of plastics material and provided at its periphery with four grooves (11) capable of accommodating the twisted-pair parts (6) of the wire, characterized in that the whirehood plate (8) comprises on its upper face means of geometrical interlocking attachment of the single portions of wire (5a, 5b).
  2. Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the means of attachment consist of slots (12) shaped as arcs of a circle whose width is suitable for gripping the wire after it has been inserted into said slots.
  3. Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the means of attachment consist of individual snap teeth (19) for the wire.
  4. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the whirehood plate is transparent.
  5. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the whirehood plate is open in its central part.
  6. Device according to Claim 4 or 5, characterized in that a decorative insert (16) is attached on the inside of the whirehood plate.
  7. Device according to Claim 6, characterized in that the whirehood plate comprises means (18, 21) for attaching the insert by snap fastening.
  8. Device according to Claim 6, characterized in that the insert is adhesively bonded in a housing (17) formed in the whirehood plate.
  9. Device for corking the neck of a bottle, especially a bottle of effervescent drink, comprising a cork with a head part designed to extend from the neck of the bottle, characterized in that the cork is held on the neck of the bottle by a whirehood device according to any one of Claims 1 to 5, and in that a decorative insert (16) is embedded in a cavity in said head part of the cork.
  10. Whirehood plate for making a whirehood device according to any one of Claims 1 to 8.
