Definitions

  • the invention relates to a smoothing device of a press arrangement for dewatering a paper, board, tissue or another fibrous web in a machine for producing and / or finishing the same, wherein the fibrous web together with a water-absorbing, rough and endless circulating band and one on the opposite Side of the fibrous web arranged, endlessly circulating, smooth belt passes through at least one press nip and the rough band is led away to the press nip of the fibrous web.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to reduce the two-sidedness of the fibrous web with the simplest possible means.
  • the object has been achieved in that the smooth band forms a smoothing gap after the removal of the rough band with a smoothing element with smooth pressing surface.
  • This smoothing nip increases smoothness on both sides of the fibrous web while reducing two-sidedness with minimal effort.
  • the smoothing element at the same time leads the fibrous web after the calendering nip, i. that the smooth band passes the fibrous web to the smoothing element.
  • the surface of the smooth belt should be softer than that of the smoothing element.
  • the smoothing element and / or the smooth belt are arranged so that they can be moved away from one another, and thereby a discharge gap can be realized.
  • the fibrous web is still relatively moist in the region of the pressing arrangements, it is sufficient for smoothing when the smooth strip and the smoothing element are pressed against one another with a contact force which is between 3 and 100 kN / m, preferably between 5 and 20 kN / m.
  • a contact force which is set or controlled depending on the degree of two-sidedness of the fibrous web after the smoothing device, preferably at the end of the machine .
  • the smoothing element may be formed as a smooth, endlessly circulating smoothing belt or as a smooth, rotatable smoothing roller.
  • the smoothing roll it is advantageous for drying and for increasing the smoothness of the rough side of the fibrous web when the smoothing roll is heated and in particular designed as a drying cylinder.
  • the smooth belts are preferably used at the end of the press section, this means that the press nip should preferably be the last press nip of the machine.
  • the transfer should preferably be supported by at least one suction device, in particular if the fibrous web is transferred from the smoothness element to a drying group for drying the fibrous web.
  • the fibrous web with a short free train, ie unsupported by the smoothing element may also be advantageous if the fibrous web with a short free train, ie unsupported by the smoothing element to a following element runs.
  • the fibrous web is supported by a dryer wire, passed alternately over heated drying cylinders and guide rolls, the drying cylinders being arranged below the fibrous web for the purpose of improving the web guidance, simplifying the construction and enabling a simple reject discharge.
  • the fibrous web can be transferred from the smoothing element to a drying wire of the following drying group in a safe and simple manner by passing the drying wire preferably in the form of a suction box in the transfer region on a suction device.
  • a slightly better web guide results when the smooth belt passes under the fibrous web.
  • the fibrous web can be easily transferred from the smoothing element to a transfer suction roll, which subsequently transfers the fibrous web to the drying wire of the drying group.
  • the fibrous web it is also possible for the fibrous web to be transferred from the smoothing element to an air-permeable transfer belt, which preferably wraps around a suction device in the transfer region in the form of a suction roll and transfers the fibrous web to the dryer fabric of the following drying group.
  • the smoothing element in the direction of the fibrous web is followed by a suction device for sucking the fibrous web.
  • the arrangement of the suction device is independent of which conveyor mechanism the fibrous web is transferred to. Sonach the fibrous web can for example be transferred to a transfer belt or directly on a drying wire. It is achieved by the suction device that the fibrous web separates from the preceding smoothing element, in particular a smoothing roller, under a defined suction force. Web flutter and breaks, which can occur in an open train without the assistance of a suction device, are avoided.
  • the suction device is configured such that it comprises a suction box and / or a suction roll.
  • the suction roll is preferably provided on its mantle surface with a helical or spiral groove, are mounted in the holes at intervals for sucking air and water.
  • the perforated roll shell is connected to a vacuum source.
  • the suction box is designed such that it directly adjoins an un-looped region of the lateral surface of the suction roll.
  • the suction box has a first and a second elastically pressed against the fibrous web element between which at least one suction zone is designed for sucking the fibrous web.
  • a plurality of zones to be aspirated with different pressures are arranged behind and / or next to one another in the region of the suction box.
  • the fibrous web after transport to the suction device over a drying cylinder and at least one further suction device is conveyed.
  • the press arrangement ensures a low two-sidedness of the web with respect to smoothness at a simultaneously very high level of smoothing and a reliable Bahnetz arrangement, which is based on the fact that the fibrous web has no or only a short free Switzerland, d. H. an area where it is not supported.
  • the press nip is the last or even the only press nip of a press section of a paper machine for dewatering the fibrous web 1, 20, 53 and is generally formed by two press rolls 12, 31, 32 pressed against each other.
  • only a relatively small amount of water will be forced out of the fibrous web 1, 20, 53 in the press nip, so that only one press felt will suffice to hold the squeezed out water.
  • the smooth belt 3, 25 can thus improve the guidance of the fibrous web 1, 20, 53, especially at high machine speeds. Both bands 2, 3, 24, 25 are guided outside the press nip via guide rollers 9, 26.
  • the fibrous web 1, 20, 53 is fed to a drying group of the paper machine.
  • the fibrous web 1, 20, 53 supported by a dryer fabric 5, 38, alternately heated by drying cylinders 10, 41, 51 and evacuated guide rollers 11, 42 out.
  • the drying cylinders 10, 41, 51 are arranged underneath and the guide rollers 11, 42 above the fibrous web 1, 20, 53. Due to the meandering run of the fibrous web 1, 20, 53 results in a simple and space-saving design of the dryer group. In addition, such dryer groups have a good suitability for high machine speeds and fast and safe rejects.
  • the fibrous web 1, 20, 53 is still relatively moist, so that the two-sidedness can be influenced with relatively simple means and low pressing forces.
  • the press felt is led away from the fibrous web 1, 20, 53 after the press nip.
  • the fibrous web 1, 20, 53 run through a smoothing device, in which the two-sidedness of the fibrous web 1, 20, 53 is counteracted by a smoothing. Thereafter, the transfer of the fibrous web 1, 20, 53 to the dryer fabric 5, 38 of the following drying group.
  • the smoothing device is here formed by a smoothing roll 4, 34, 50, which is pressed against the smooth belt 3, 25 with the fibrous web 1, 20, 53.
  • the smooth belt 3, 25 is supported on the opposite side by a press roller 13, 35.
  • the smoothing roll 4, 34, 50 can be changed in their position such that the smoothing gap can also be opened to remove rejects.
  • the pressure roller 13, 35 displaceably.
  • the smoothing roller 4, 34, 50 are also replaced by a smoothing belt, which is pressed by a roller to the smooth belt 3, 25 or the press roller 13, 35 with the smooth belt 3, 25 also wraps around.
  • the smooth strip 3 runs under the fibrous web 1, which offers advantages in the web guide.
  • the fibrous web 1 is transferred from the smoothing roll 4 to a transfer belt 14, which in turn passes on the fibrous web 1 to the drying wire 5.
  • the transfer belt 14 wraps around each of the two transfer points a roller 8, wherein the, the smoothing roller 4 associated roller for Support the transfer as a suction roller 7 is executed.
  • the transfer of the fibrous web 1 takes place to a transfer suction roll 7 and from there to the drying wire 5.
  • the smooth belt 3 in the press arrangement shown in FIG. 3 is arranged above the fibrous web 1. This simplifies the transfer of the fibrous web 1 after smoothing, since the fibrous web 1 from the smoothing roll 4 directly, i. can be handed over without turning to the drying wire 5.
  • the drying wire 5 runs along a suction box 6 in the area of takeover. The outgoing from the suction box 6 negative pressure pulls the fibrous web 1 to the dryer fabric. 5
  • a fibrous web 20 (FIG. 4) is transported via conveyor belts 21 - 25 in the direction of an arrow A, each of which passes over guide rollers 26.
  • suction rolls are provided with fixed suction boxes and a rotating around this roll shell, such as the suction rolls 27, 28 with suction boxes 29 and 30th
  • the fibrous web 20 is guided to a pair of rollers with smoothing rollers 34, 35.
  • the smoothing roller 34 is additionally equipped with scrapers 36, 37 for removing impurities.
  • the fibrous web 20 is transferred to a drying wire 38.
  • a suction roller 39 in conjunction with a suction box 40, which is shown above the suction roller 39 and in one embodiment has an approximately trapezoidal cross-section.
  • the arrangement of the suction box 40 and the suction roll 39, the fibrous web 20 is transferred without a free train directly from the support on the smoothing roll 34 to a suction on the smoothing roll 34 side facing.
  • the drying wire 38 rotates with a Speed of 0.5 to 5.0% faster than the conveyor belts 21 to 25.
  • the fibrous web 20 is continued via a drying cylinder 41 and from there to a further combination of a suction roll 42 and a suction box 43.
  • FIG. 5 shows a suction box 52 arranged between a smoothing roll 50 and a drying cylinder 51 or between two drying cylinders 50, 51 for sucking a fibrous web 53 from the smoothing roll 50 and transferring it onto the drying cylinder 51 (for simplicity's sake only on one side) wherein the fibrous web 20 is passed below the suction box 52 around a suction roll 54.
  • the suction box 52 For sucking up the fibrous web 20, the suction box 52 is equipped with a suction region 57 delimited by resilient elements 55, 56 with a passage 58 for discharging sucked air and moisture.
  • the elements 55, 56 can be actuated via adjusting shafts 59, 60 in order to change their contact force against the fibrous web 53.
  • the suction region 57 can be followed by further suction regions which, like the suction region 57, are delimited by elastic elements, the suction force being able to be changed individually in each of the suction regions in order to achieve optimal transfer of the fibrous web 53 onto the drying cylinder 51.
