Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de massage (1), spécialement conçu pour être incorporé dans le dossier (11) d'un siège (S) de véhicule, ce système comprenant au moins un dispositif de massage (2, 2', 2A, 2A' ; 20) pourvu d'au moins un élément de massage (3 à 6 ou 21 à 23) et d'un élément de support (7, 8 ou 24) destiné aux éléments de massage. Le système comprend un entraînement (9 ; 26) destiné au dispositif de massage (2 à 2A' ; 20) et un dispositif de transmission (10, 10' ; 25) servant à transmettre un mouvement de massage entre l'entraînement (9 ; 26) et le dispositif de massage. Ce système de massage se caractérise en ce que l'élément de support (7, 8 ; 24) et le dispositif de transmission (10, 10' ; 25) forment ensemble une unité fonctionnelle de massage multifonction, l'arbre de sortie (19 ; 27) de l'entraînement (9 ; 26) étant directement relié à cette unité fonctionnelle.
