Claims (9)

  1. Device for straightening hair by treating it from root to end, said device comprising a sleeve (2) and a head (3) and a connection means to the electric supply as well as a heating means (4) contributing to the smoothing down of the hair, said head comprising at least three combs (6, 7, 8), characterised in that among said three combs (6, 7, 8), two combs (6, 8) are fixed and the third comb (7) is a mobile, intercalating comb capable of adopting a to-an-fro motion in the longitudinal direction under the effect of a control means (10) in order to constitute a pinching element capable of exerting a continuous tension on the hair allowing to tauten it and progressively slide on said head (3) according to a continuous motion along the locks of hair.
  2. Device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the control means (10) for controlling the to-and-fro motion of the mobile comb (7) corresponds to a push-button (10).
  3. Device according to Claim 2, characterised in that the push-button is provided with a spring allowing to bring back said intercalating comb in its start position after said push-button is released.
  4. Device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the control means (10) is located on the handle (2).
  5. Device according to Claim 1, characterised in that it moreover comprises means for generating hot air and/or water steam.
  6. Device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the combs (6, 7, 8) constituting the pinching element each comprise a row of teeth (6a, 6b, 6c, ...; 7a, 7b, 7c, ...; 8a, 8b, 8c, ...).
  7. Device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the smoothing and heating means (4) are constituted of at least two electrically-heated pads.
  8. Device according to Claim 7, characterised in that it comprises holes on the pads in order to allow the circulation of hot air and/or water steam through said holes of the pads.
  9. Device according to Claim 1, characterised in that two rows of teeth (11, 12) provided on either side of the combs (6, 7 and 8) prevent the pad from coming into contact with the scalp.
