Definitions

  • the invention relates to a sawtooth wire for producing a sawtooth all-steel set for the drum of a card according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
  • the card In fiber processing, the card is used to parallelize the individual fibers of a used raw material consisting of disordered fibers. This is indicated by the card usually a circular cylindrical spool and a number of over the peripheral surface of the drum distributed on top flat bars.
  • the card usually a circular cylindrical spool and a number of over the peripheral surface of the drum distributed on top flat bars.
  • the spool and the flat bars usually with by sawtooth wires equipped with all-steel sets, between which the parallelization proposal takes place.
  • the sawtooth full steel set of the spool is usually in shape a circular cylindrical surface of the spool helically encircling sawtooth wire formed while the sawtooth all-steel set the lid by side by side arranged sawtooth wire strips may be formed. With such cards More than 120 kg of raw material per hour can be processed or parallelized.
  • GB 2 322 640 A discloses a sawtooth wire for the feed roller Fiber processing device specified with a particularly low tooth incision depth.
  • DE-OS 2 222 918 a card clothing from a 0.3 - 2.0 Wt% carbon, 0.05-2.5 wt% silicon, 0.05-2.0 wt% manganese and 0.01-2.0 wt% Wt .-% vanadium-containing alloy, wherein the vanadium by 0.01 - 3.5 wt.% Tungsten can be replaced.
  • this object is achieved by the in the characterizing part of claim 1 specified development of the known sawtooth wires of the beginning described type consisting of a 0.40 - 0.60 wt.% Manganese and 0.60 - 0.70 wt .-% Consist of tungsten-containing alloy.
  • the invention is based on the knowledge that during operation of the Known cards observed wear of the drum sets primarily on the the captured between the blade sections of the individual coil of the clothing fibers attributable to the blade edges forces.
  • the width of Garniturgassen between the individual Spiraling the Tamlaubarnitur increased in relation to the sheet width, so as to solve the in To facilitate this Garniturgassen embedded fibers and the stress of the To reduce leaf edges through these fibers.
  • Further development of the known sawtooth wires of the free space between the Foot shoulder and the tooth tip increased, so that the fiber material has more space and easier to be removed from this space again.
  • the wear resistance of the sawtooth wire according to the invention Increasing increase in the space between the foot and the tooth tip becomes while ensuring a satisfactory carding result through use corresponding saw teeth allows when the ratio of the blade height to Tooth incision depth more than 1.5, preferably more than 1.8, more preferably about 2 is, which allow for the production of a satisfactory carding result
  • Saw teeth required tooth incision depth may be about 0.4 mm.
  • the ratio of Blade height to the tooth incision depth expediently to at most 3.5, preferably limited to 2.5.
  • the ratio of Blade height to the total height of the wire greater than 0.3, preferably greater than 0.4, more preferably about 0.45 but less than 0.6, preferably less than 0.5.
  • the total height of the Wire less than 2.0 mm, preferably about 1.8 mm, the foot height less than 1.4 mm, preferably about 1.0 mm.
  • Ratio of the blade height to the total height of the wire can in particular also a Good wear resistance can be ensured because by adjusting one in proportion to the overall height of sufficiently large blade height also a wear resistance increasing, particularly large clearance between the tooth tips and the foot shoulder ensured becomes.
  • the sawtooth wire according to the invention consists of alloyed steel.
  • This alloyed Steel contains 0.4 to 0.6 wt .-% manganese and may additionally 0.3 to 2.0, preferably 0.8 to 0.85% by weight of carbon, 0.1 to 2.0, preferably 0.15 to 0.2% vanadium, and / or 0.1 to 2.0, preferably 0.4 to 0.6 wt .-% chromium, wherein the proportions of phosphorus, sulfur, nickel and copper are kept minimal.
  • the proportion of phosphorus is expediently to less than 0.025 wt .-% and the sulfur content to less than 0.25 wt .-% limited.
  • the life of a using a inventive Sawtooth wire produced garnish be increased if the pitch error, i.e. the deviation from the nominal distance between the tooth tips in succession Teeth less than 2%, preferably less than 1.0%, because then at the correct Garniturmontlage leading to a first wear control or first-time Equalize is no longer necessary.
  • the minimization of the division error can be achieved in that during wire production, in particular during the Punching a high-precision wire feed is used, via a rule compensation calculator is controlled.
  • a corresponding sampling method for example a laser scanning method, can possibly occurring pitch errors during the Production to be detected and corrected immediately.
  • the individual teeth of the sawtooth wire according to the invention formed in the form of curved teeth with an arcuate tooth face are, wherein the radius of curvature of the tooth face suitably about 0.15 to 0.25 mm, more preferably about 0.19 mm.
  • This can be a gentle handle in the too parallelizing fiber material can be ensured when the tooth face towards the tooth tip in a rectilinear portion whose length is preferably in Range from 0.02 to 0.2 mm.
  • the sawtooth wire 10 shown in the drawing consists essentially of a foot portion 20 and a blade portion 30.
  • the foot portion 20 at its side facing away from the blade section 30 from a substantially flat lower Limiting surface 24 bounded by the two a right angle enclosing it Flank surfaces 26 and 28 go out and towards the blade portion 30th extend.
  • the foot section starts from the flank surface 26 via a foot shoulder 22 in the sheet section 30, which is provided with a number of teeth 32.
  • teeth 32 there are the teeth 32 by starting from the foot portion 20 facing away from the edge the blade portion 30 in the direction of the foot portion 20 extending tooth incisions 34 are formed.
  • the tooth pitch p i. Distance between the tooth tips of successive teeth is constant and amounts about 1.669 mm.
  • the flank surface 38 of the sheet portion 30 coplanar to the flank surface 28 of the foot portion 20 is formed, wherein the width of the blade portion starting from the tooth tips 32 in the direction of the Foot section 20 steadily increases.
  • the width b1 of the blade section is in the range of the tooth tips about 0.05 mm, while the width b2 of the blade portion 30 at the foot 20th is about 0.24 mm, with the width b4 at the intermediate point of the lowest Tooth incision is about 0.15 mm.
  • the width b3 of the foot section is above its entire height approximately constant and is in the embodiment shown in the drawing of the invention 0.4 mm.
  • the radius of curvature r is 0.19 mm.
  • Towards the Tooth tip 32 c runs the curved portion 32 a of the tooth face of the teeth 32 in one rectilinear extending portion 32b. Through this straight-line section a gentle engagement of the teeth is made possible in the fiber material.
  • the teeth 32 of the sawtooth wire shown in the drawing have in the region of their tips 32c in the stretched state, a breast angle ⁇ of 40 °.
  • the angle ⁇ between the approximately rectilinear tooth back and a perpendicular to the lower boundary surface 24th of the wire 10 extending line is 65 °, so that there is a wedge angle of 25 °.
  • the invention is not based on the illustrated with reference to the drawing embodiment limited. Rather, it is also due to the use of sawtooth wires with other dimensions thought. Furthermore, in the context of this invention also sawtooth wires with variable tooth pitch p are used. Incidentally, according to the invention also to the use Sawtooth wires with lockable foot sections thought.
