  • a recessed light of this kind is in the DE 43 44 431 A1 described.
  • This known recessed luminaire has a base frame, consisting of a mounting ring which is formed angularly in axial cross-section with a coaxial pipe socket and an outwardly projecting flange part, extending from the radiation direction facing away from the edge of the pipe stub three struts arcuate to a common ridge zone, where the reflector is releasably attached.
  • connecting means For selectively mounting a retaining ring for additional components on the side facing away from the light source side of the mounting ring connecting means are provided in the form of a connecting ring for the retaining ring.
  • the connecting ring has on its side facing the mounting ring axially projecting snap hooks which are latched behind associated Verrastungkanten on the inside of the pipe socket, wherein the snap hooks are in a space between the pipe socket and the side wall of the reflector.
  • the annular body of the connecting ring has a U-shaped cross-sectional shape.
  • three circumferentially distributed clamping lever are pivotally mounted in the region of axial recesses, with which arranged on the axes of the clamping lever support arms are mounted radially pivotable.
  • the retaining ring can be mounted on the side of the connecting ring, which faces away from the mounting ring.
  • the retaining ring is used to hold additional components, such as a glass pane od. Like., Which is located in front of the emission of the lamp.
  • This known recessed luminaire has several disadvantages.
  • the connecting ring and the retaining ring increase the axial dimension of the recessed light in the area upstream of the mounting ring. This is determined by the presence of the connecting ring, which has a considerable axial dimension to accommodate the clamping levers can.
  • the known embodiment is disadvantageous because the connecting ring is clearly visible to the viewer, so that the design not only looks great, but also their appearance is impaired.
  • Another disadvantage is that the known design not only in terms of the arrangement and storage of the clamping lever of consuming Design and production is. In addition, the assembly and disassembly is expensive, it should be noted that the clamping lever are not easy to reach.
  • the DE 299 15 780 U1 discloses a recessed luminaire, which has a light source with reflector and two rings.
