Claims (11)

    - the mouldings (31) are obtained via machining operations in said excess thicknesses (33) of material, extending longitudinally to the profile (1, 2).
  2. Method according to claim 1, wherein said profile (1, 2) is comprised of extruded bronze.
  3. Method, according to one or the other of claims 1 and 2, wherein the profile (1, 2) comprises different sides and/or branches having a thickness exceeding 1 millimetre, where applicable, a thickness from 3 to 5 millimetres, and wherein said mouldings (31) are provided on the side or sides and/or on said branch or branches.
  4. Method according to one of claims 1 to 3, wherein said profile (1, 2) is tubular, with a closed section.
  5. Method according to one of claims 1 to 3, wherein said profile (1, 2) is of semi-open section, extending according to at least two different directions.
  6. Use of metalwork profiles (1, 2), obtained according to the method of any of the preceding claims 1 to 5, assembled edge-to-edge by their end (e1, e2) for the creation of an arrangement of profiles wherein:
    - each profile (1, 2) comprises at least one core (3) and one wing (4, 5) and has at least two edges (6, 7), referred to as longitudinal, extending from one end to the other of the profile (1, 2) and connected by all or a portion of said core or cores (3) and of said wing or wings (4, 5), with each said profile (1, 2) defining a volume (8), referred to as internal, circumscribed by said core or cores (3) and said wing or wings (4, 5), connecting said longitudinal edges (6, 7) and by a virtual plane (P) passing through the latter,
    - means for fastening constituted of a weld (9) are provided to connect said profiles (1, 2) on their junction, with the weld (9) being located in said internal volume (8) of the profiles (1, 2).
  7. Use, according to claim 6, wherein all or a portion of said profiles (1, 2) is provided with means for closing (14) at least one portion of their internal volume (8).
  8. Use, according to claim 7, wherein:
    - said profiles (1, 2) have at least two parallel branches each provided face-to-face with an abutment (15, 16),
    - said means for closing (14) are comprised of rabbets (17) and/or closures bearing against said abutments (15, 16).
  9. Use, according to claim 8, wherein at least one of said branches, provided with said abutments (15, 16) has a first portion (21a) defining a portion of the contour of the volume interne (8) closed by said means of closing (14) and a second portion (21b), referred to as free, having a longitudinal groove (22), able to receive a seal.
  10. Use according to claim 6, wherein said profiles (1, 2) comprise one said core (3) and at least two said wings (4, 5) extending face-to-face from the ends of said core (3) perpendicularly to them.
  11. Use of one or more profiles (1, 2) obtained according to the method of any one of claims 1 to 4 for the creation of a fixed or movable closing device for openings in buildings, in particular window, glass door and/or similar.
