Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Wärmetauscher, bestehend aus flachen Wärmetauscherrohren (1), deren Enden (3) in zugeordneten mit Durchzügen (6) versehenen Öffnungen (5) von Rohrböden (4) stecken, wobei sie so weit über die Innenseite (13) der Rohrböden (4) ragen, daß die Längsseiten (11) der flachen Wärmetauscherrohre (1) in Richtung zum Rohrboden (4) hin umbiegbar sind, wobei die Rohrböden (4) mit Sammelkästen (7) zusammenwirken.
Der innere Druckverlust des Wärmetauschers kann wesentlich und mit äußerst einfachen Mitteln, dadurch reduziert werden, daß die Längsseiten (11) an den Enden (3) der flachen Wärmetauscherrohre (1) so weit umgebogen sind, daß die Enden (3) der Längsseiten (11) benachbarter Wärmetauscherrohre (1) eine strömungsgünstige Fläche (15) über dem Rohrboden (4) bilden, die Strömungstrichter (26) der Wärmetauscherrohre (1) einschließt.
Das erfindungsgemäße Herstellungsverfahren sieht vor, daß die gegenüberliegenden Schmalseiten (12) der Enden (3) der Wärmetauscherrohre (1) aufgespaltet (17; 31) werden und die gegenüberliegenden Längsseiten (11) der Enden (3) der Wärmetauscherohre (1) so weit abgebogen werden, daß sie gemeinsam mit den Längsseiten (11) benachbarter Wärmetauscherrohre (1) eine strömungsgünstige Fläche (15) über der Innenseite (13) des Rohrbodens (4) ergeben.
