Abstract

The net for trapping rockfalls is made up of rings (12') and mounted on support rods (16,17). The edges are linked by cables (14) and it is held tight by guy ropes (22). Additional cables (25) attach the net to the support rods and absorb the energy of the falling rocks.

Description

The invention relates to a safety net for Steinschlagverbauungen or the like, with a mesh of intermeshing rings or the like existing network and this holding support means, the network is outside aussenseitg at least two opposite sides of each held at least one edge rope and / or a guy.

In a generic fall arrester according to the document EP-A-0 679 437 individual rings are initially made, which consist of a wire with several turns. These rings are then encompassed by four other rings until a so-called ring network is created.

Such a network has proven very successful in practice. In the event of a stone or boulder impacting the net, a limited amount of energy can be absorbed if the dimensions of the net are assumed, without the net breaking and the rock to be stopped falling through the net.

In a system described in US-A-5 435 524 there is a network. Suspension, anchored posts and Tragselle available. It In addition, sometimes U-shaped bolts are provided which hold this cable device to respective posts. Even wound wires are used to hold the net. However, this system has only a limited catching force, because the network is held relatively inflexible to the multiple posts and therefore can only partially absorb the resulting dynamic impact of a stone or the like.

The present invention was based on the basis of this existing safety net the task of developing a safety net according to the type mentioned in such a way that with him higher energies can be absorbed with a relatively low design effort. Furthermore, with this invention, existing built-in safety nets should be retrofitted in order to be able to absorb higher energies in them too. Furthermore, in the event of failure (tearing) of the edge ropes or guy ropes due to overload, it is to be achieved that the overall system nevertheless fulfills its protective task.

The object is achieved according to the invention in that additional connecting elements (25, 45) are provided which connect the net (12, 33) to the suspension element on its outside and / or inside, at least one braking means (27 , 47) is integrated, such that the additional connecting elements load case are variable in their length, so that the resulting energies can be absorbed in case of load, in particular falling into a stone or the like in the network through these additional connecting elements.

With this inventive design of the safety net has been found that with these additional fasteners over the known networks a higher, up to more than 30%, can be absorbed by the energy resulting from the impact of the earthenware without the network breaks. These fasteners are easy to prepare and they can be attached with a little effort on the support means on the one hand and on or in the network on the other.

Ferner sind noch bei den äusseren Stützen 16, 17 seitliche Abspannseile 22 vorgesehen.1 shows a safety net 10, which is constructed as a so-called gallery and accordingly designed horizontally. The safety net 10 has a net 12 which is composed of intermeshing rings 12 '. The net 12 is in this case held on the outer longitudinal sides of an edge rope 14, 15 and on the outer narrow sides of supports 16, 17. The supports 16, 17 are anchored obliquely outwards in the usual way, approximately vertically extending slopes, rock walls 11, etc. in a position. There are between the outer supports 16, 17, two further supports 18, 19 anchored at equal distances from one another in the rock 11, which are arranged parallel to the outer and hold the net at the front end as well as at the foot end. The supports 16 to 19 are additionally held on retaining ropes 21, which are anchored on the one hand at the front end of the support and the other on the rock. They each extend obliquely backwards, with two support ropes 21 each extending to the left or to the right behind from a support, so that these supports are optimally positioned on the rock 11 are attached. Furthermore, lateral guy ropes 22 are still provided in the outer supports 16, 17.

Safety nets 10 of this kind are usually positioned above railroads, roads, etc., and they have the function of collecting rocks, boulders, wood, such as tree trunks, tree trunks, earth material and / or the like, so that they do not touch the underlying Trasses fall.

According to the invention, additional connecting elements 25 are provided which connect the net 12 to the outside and / or inside of the carrying means, so that when a stone 23 or the like falls into the net 12, the resulting energies are absorbed. In the present case, the supports 16 to 19 are used as suspension elements. However, the connecting elements 25 could also be attached to the retaining ropes 21, to separate anchors or the like.

It is provided for each support 16 to 19 each at the outside end and at the foot end depending on a connecting element 25 with identical dimensions. The supports 16, 17 located on the outside are each assigned two, while the inner supports 18, 19 are each assigned a connecting element 25 in both directions at the head and foot ends. Thus, four such connecting elements are present in each section of the network 12 between the supports. Of course, the support means could also be equipped with more than four, for example. 8, such fasteners.

From this it is ensured that at various points of the network 12, a capacity of additional energy intake has been created, and accordingly the safety net is in total capable of stones with significantly higher weight and / or higher energy than was possible with conventional networks.

In the case of the respective connecting element 25, at least one braking means 27, 27 'is advantageously integrated, which absorbs the resulting tensile and other energies into the network proportionally when the stone or the like falls into it. Such a braking means is explained in the document US-A-5,207,302. It is advantageously formed of a ring, which consists for example of a bent metal tube (metal rod), which is connected at one end with a held on the support rope, but at the other end with a held on the net rope. The adjacent end portions of the metal tube are also covered by a clamping ring 28. Furthermore, the retaining ropes 21 are also equipped with such braking means 29.

In the state shown, in the central portion of the net 12, the connecting elements 25 and with them the braking means 27 ', into which the stone 23 has fallen, are stretched, i. their rings have become correspondingly smaller. At a correspondingly higher load these tear a predetermined breaking point forming rings.

A further advantage according to the invention results from the fact that these connecting elements 25 can easily be replaced by new ones in the event of a damage, if they are broken or at least the rings are stretched. It is almost in this safety net a predetermined breaking or Sollbeschädigungsstelle generated at a defined energy level, which is easily replaceable. This is done by releasing the same in the suspension element and the network and by a corresponding fastening of new fasteners.

Very advantageously, the network 12 is slidably mounted on the two-sided edge ropes 14, 15 by means of sliding elements 24, in which each Sliding element 24 around a peripheral ring 12 'and around the edge rope 14, 15 is looped.

By this arrangement arises in the context of the invention, a further significant advantage, as in a collision of the stone in the network, the ring bundles are moved in rows 12 "as in a curtain across the edge ropes against the point of impact and out of this increased strength of Net arises in the impact area.

By the connecting elements 25 ensures that the drawn against the impact point ring rows are retained. At the moment when the falling stone falls into the net and pulls it downwards, as can be seen from Fig. 1, the connecting elements 25 are pulled until, in a first stage, the brake rings 27 'are stretched, as shown, and in a second stage tear the fasteners. Thus, a definable proportion of the total required absorption energy can be absorbed.

Das Netz 33 ist oben und unten von annähernd horizontal verlaufenden Randseilen 41, 42 gehalten, wobei an den Ringen 33' vorhandene Gleitelemente 44 wiederum wie bei einem Vorhang für eine Verschiebemöglichkeit des Netzes 33 entlang diesen Randseilen 41, 42 sorgen.2 shows an approximately vertically arranged collecting net 30 in a partial view, which, in contrast to that according to FIG. 1, is arranged on a sloping slope and absorbs the material which falls down the slope, such as stones 31. The safety net 30 is attached to approximately vertical, provided as a support means supports 34, 38 which are held on retaining ropes 36. A network 33 in turn consists of nested rings 33 ', each formed of a plurality of turns of a wire. The net 33 is held at the top and bottom by approximately horizontally extending edge ropes 41, 42, wherein on the rings 33 'existing sliding elements 44 turn like a curtain for a possibility of displacement of the network 33 along these edge ropes 41, 42 provide.

According to the invention connecting elements 45 are provided, which the net 33 on the one hand on its outer side 45 'and underside and, on the other hand, in its interior 45 "connect to the support 34, 38, two of which are fastened to the support at the upper end and two at the lower end The two connecting elements extending into the interior 45" of the network have an approximately equal length and one of them is fixed in the upper half and the other in the lower half of the net. The connecting elements 45 in the section of the net in which the stone 31 has impacted are again stretched. Accordingly, the rings of the braking means 47 are each reduced from a diameter of, for example, 25 centimeters in the unloaded condition to a small diameter of a few centimeters.

In Fig.2 can again be taken very clearly that have been moved by the impact of the stone in the network, the ring bundles of the network as in a curtain in rows transversely to the edge ropes 41, 42 out. The individual rings on the outside of the net are again slidably held by gliders on the respective edge rope 41, 42 for this purpose. The connecting elements 45 have counteracted in the context of the invention this displacement of the ring bundles with a defined resistance.

Die von der Stütze 51 ausgehenden Verbindungselemente 52, 53, 54, 56, 57 sind jeweils mit einer unterschiedlichen Länge versehen und demgemäss am Netz 58 zum einen aussenseitig und zum andern innerhalb desselben an unterschiedlichen Stellen in definierten Abständen befestigt, so dass diese Verbindungselemente bei einem Steinfall nacheinander bzw. miteinander Energie aufnehmen, bis sie jeweils reissen.3 shows a section of a safety net system 50, which has a plurality of connecting elements 52, 53, 54, 56, 57 extending in the same direction and arranged at the same point in the support 51, which in turn are each provided with a braking means 55. The one connecting elements 52, 53, 54 engage on the outside of the network 50, while the connecting elements 56, 57 are secured inside the network. With respect to the image plane, the latter two connecting elements 56, 57 are located in front of the net rope 59 carrying the net, while this edge rope is arranged behind the support 51 on the valley side. The acting in the manner of a shock absorber brake means 55 has at the adjacent ends each a comprehensive clamping ring 55 '. The outgoing from the support 51 connecting elements 52, 53, 54, 56, 57 are each provided with a different length and accordingly secured to the network 58 on the one hand and the other at the same at different locations at defined intervals, so that these connecting elements in a stone fall successively or together absorb energy until they respectively tear.

In a rockfall initially the network is stretched perpendicular to its longitudinal extent and in this case the individual transverse to the longitudinal extension ring rows pulled successively in the direction against the impact point out. As soon as the row in which a connecting element 54 engages on the outside is pulled, the connecting elements arranged on both sides cause the rows of rings to be retained until their brake rings are stretched and subsequently torn, so that the next connecting elements 53 are used since the rows of rings are moved on ,

Damit ergibt sich gegenüber der Ausführung nach Fig.1 eine erhöhte Auffangkraft des Netzes, d.h. es können noch schwerere Gegenstände sicher vom Netz aufgefangen werden.4, additional connecting elements 25, which are fastened at one end to the outer or inner end of the supports 18, 19 and at the other end 25 ", are not illustrated in FIG. 4 in the safety net shown in FIG From the supports 18, 19, two connecting elements each extend in both directions, inside and outside, thus resulting in an increased catching force of the net compared to the embodiment according to FIG Items are safely collected from the net.

The invention is sufficiently demonstrated with the above embodiments. Of course, it could still be explained in other variants.

Thus, the connecting elements, depending on the application, in addition to the different lengths according to Figure 3 with different materials and dimensions, so that with them different absorbency, tear strengths or braking effects arise. In principle, several connecting elements could be mounted parallel and / or serially to each other.

The safety net according to Fig.1 can of course also be arranged on a sloping slope as a gallery. The number or the length and width of the fields, which are formed by the spaced supports, can be adjusted arbitrarily depending on the local conditions.

The edge ropes could also be realized by a double cable guide, wherein preferably the corresponding brake rings are arranged in the supports.

The braking means could of course also be designed differently than explained above, for example. By known per se friction elements.

In principle, the connecting elements could be fixed only in the interior of the network and not on the outside thereof, which is not shown in detail. The connecting elements could also be arranged on the support means not only at the end, but also at any point, such as in the support center.

In the unloaded state of the network, the connecting elements are provided with such a length that they sag somewhat and are not already fully stretched. If a stone falls into the net, it is possible that the net - as shown - can still move like a curtain before these connecting elements are stretched and the network can only be moved to a limited extent.
