Abstract

Es wird ein isolierter elektrischer Leiter mit Funktionserhalt im Brandfall beschrieben, bestehend aus einem metallischen Leiter, einer auf den Leiter aufgebrachten ersten Glas und/oder Glimmer enthaltenden Schicht und einer die erste Schicht umgebenden zweiten Kunststoffschicht, wobei die erste Schicht aus zumindest zwei längseinlaufend auf den Leiter aufgebrachten Bändern (2,3) aus Glas und/oder Glimmer besteht, deren Breite so gewählt ist, daß die Bänder (2,3) einander um mindestens 50 % überlappen.
