Abstract

The textile floor covering, and especially a carpet, is a wool nonwoven (1) as the base material, with yarn sections at the upper surface forming a pile (3) in structured zones. The yarn sections are secured to the wool nonwoven base by local adhesive. The yarn sections can be knitted or tufted on to a carrier material (2), which is bonded to the base (1) by adhesion or stitching. Or the yarn sections are knitted or tufted directly into the wool nonwoven base (1). The wool nonwoven base (1), as a felt material, can have a carrier layer through it with openings in the base to be filled with the pile (3), where the pile yarn sections are knitted or tufted into the carrier layer or the carrier material (2), which is bonded in place in alignment with the openings. The yarn sections are prepared gathered bundles, to be bonded by an adhesive to the woven carrier. Elements can be bonded to the under side of the wool nonwoven base (1), at the openings, for the yarn sections to be pulled up from the carrier material in tufts, leaving projections on either side to form a woven underlay as a bottom layer of the floor covering. A woven carrier layer, with wool nonwoven elements bonded to it by an adhesive or stitching, has yarn sections filling the spaces between them to form a pile (3) bonded to the woven carrier.

Description

The invention relates to a textile floor covering, in particular a carpet.

Textile floor coverings can be knotted, woven, knitted or be tufted. Tufted carpets consist of a carrier fabric or knitted fabric, often made of polypropylene or polyester, in the pile threads are tufted or embroidered. For fixation The slings of the cut Florschenkel is as Back referred carrier fabric with latex or latex coated with a synthetic adhesive. Higher quality Carpets often have a second back made of wool felt. This can be glued or sewn to the first back be. Different designs can only be through Use of pile yarns of different colors and / or different materials (for example cotton and silk) achieve. At most, can still be within the same Carpets the pile height by different shearing be varied.

From DE 30 17 102 A is a floor covering of an underlayer made of a polymeric, elastic material with Knop-like elevations known, with the low-lying Flocked areas with natural or synthetic fibers are, which are glued to the lower layer. Because the Surface of the elevations of the smooth plastic material the lower layer consist, this flooring is suitable only for undemanding equipment, e.g. in the object area or as a floor covering for vehicles.

From DE 43 00 147 A is a textile floor covering on the Base of needle felt known, which is coated with an adhesive is flocculated on the long fibers and then be transferred.

The invention is based on the object, a textile To provide flooring, a considerably larger Design variety possible.

This object is achieved by the fact that as Basic material wool felt on a continuous carrier layer is used, the wool felt recesses comprising the pile forming yarn sections are filled.

The yarn sections can be embroidered in the carrier layer or tufted be (claim 2).

Alternativ können die Garnabschnitte auf ein Trägermaterial gestickt oder getuftet sein, das seinerseits auf die im Bereich der Ausnehmungen freiliegende Trägerschicht des Wollfilzes aufgeklebt ist (Anspruch 3).Alternatively, the yarn sections can be placed on a carrier material embroidered or tufted, which in turn is based on the im Area of the recesses exposed carrier layer of the Wool felt is adhered (claim 3).

Another possibility is the yarn sections into ready - made bundles based on the Glued portion of the recesses exposed carrier fabric are (claim 4).

The problem underlying the invention can also be with the same advantages of further also by it solve that as a basic material wool felt with recesses is used, in which of the bottom elements glued in, which consist of a carrier material, in the Flor forming one, the respective recess filling Yarn sections leaving a supernatant the carrier material are embroidered or tufted, wherein a continuous carrier fabric the lowest layer of the floor covering forms (claim 5).

A fourth solution of the problem underlying the invention, which also offers the advantages mentioned, is to use a carrier fabric on the Wool felt elements are glued or sewn on and the Spaces between the wool felt elements with a pile forming yarn sections to be filled on the Carrier fabric are attached (claim 6).

  • In the drawing 3 - different embodiments of textile floor coverings are shown schematically in partially sectioned side views to explain the invention.
  • Fig. 1 shows a carpet consisting of a base material 1 of wool felt, on the upper side, a thin substrate 2, for example, is glued, have been embroidered or tufted in previously forming a pile 3 yarn sections.
  • Fig. 2 shows a floor covering with a base material 1 of wool felt into which the pile 3 forming yarn sections are embroidered or tufted. A latex layer 4 fixes the yarn loops on the back. Instead of latex can be used here and in all other embodiments, a synthetic adhesive.
  • Fig. 3 shows a floor covering with a base material 1 of wool felt, which has recesses 1a. The wool felt is glued over a latex layer 4 on a continuous support layer 5, which usually has a considerably smaller thickness than the wool felt and may consist of a woven or knitted fabric made of polypropylene or polyester, for example. The recesses 1a may be in the plan view from edge to edge continuous strips or closed peripheral edges, ie circular shape, rectangular shape or a similar outline, have. The recesses as 1a are filled with Florware 3. For this purpose, as shown, first a tufting material can be produced or cut, which consists of the recesses 1a format same carrier material pieces 2 with eingetufteten or embroidered yarns. For attachment serves an adhesive 6 with which the latex layer is coated in the region of the recesses.
Instead, as in the case of Figure 3, the tufted goods from above in to use the recesses 1a, it can according to Figure 4 also be inserted from below. These are the yarns in a carrier material 7 embroidered or tufted, the underside with a latex layer 8 is provided. The Carrier material 7 has a slightly larger format than the Surface of the recesses 1a and a circulating free Edge 7a for attachment to the bottom of the felt 1. The Fixing can be done by gluing or sewing. In the Usually the carpet receives a second lower side, not shown here back from a suitable Material to a continuous ground contact surface too create and stabilize the wool felt.

In turn, another structure has shown in Figure 5 Carpet. It comprises a carrier fabric 9, on the spaced wool felt elements 10 by means of a Glues 11 are glued on. The spaces are with Florware 3 filled, which is attached to the carrier fabric 9 is, here in the form of yarns in the carrier fabric 9 tufted or embroidered and with a latex layer 12 are fixed.

In addition, in all embodiments, the thickness of the Wool felt and / or the thickness of the pile or the pile fabric be varied by shearing or milling to additional to achieve creative effects.
