Description

The present invention relates to articles for hair in which a first jaw and a second jaw are opposite to each other each other and articulated to each other by means of articulation to allow the pinching of a lock of hair.

De telles pinces sont décrites notamment dans les documents FR-A-770 805, FR-A-755 662, US-A-2 201 719, DE-A-27 48 601 ou GB-A-2 326 591.We have known for a long time articles of hair in form of pliers used for female hairstyle. Such pliers are described in particular in documents FR-A-770 805, FR-A-755 662, US-A-2 201 719, DE-A-27 48 601 or GB-A-2 326 591.

Known hair clips generally include a first and second jaws, elongated in a direction of extension, opposite to each other and articulated to each other by articulation means allowing their respective pivoting about a lateral articulation axis between a position angularly apart and a close position in which the two jaws are opposite to each other to tighten the wick of hair.

In these known structures of hair clips, each jaw is in one piece and has a rigid body integral with at least a series of teeth each protruding directly from the body rigid. The teeth of a first bit are directed towards the second bit, to penetrate the hair engaged between the two bits.

In other words, in known clamp structures, the teeth and the main body parts of each bit form a rigid one-piece structure, of relatively large mass important.

In principle, hair articles must have an effective hold in the hair, in order to avoid their displacement or their fall under the usual conditions use. This requires that the jaws have a shape suitable for good hold and good bonding in the mass of hair.

Simultaneously, there is a need to reduce the cost of production of such hair articles, without reducing their hold in the hair.

However the behavior of the article of hair generally depends conditions of use, and in particular the variable quantity of hair introduced between the jaws. Known structures of hair items do not allow sufficient adaptation variations in conditions of use.

The problem proposed by the present invention is to design a new hair article structure allowing both improve the mechanical strength of the article in the hair, and lighten the jaws to reduce the amount of material and therefore the cost of production.

To achieve these and other objects, a hair article according to the invention comprises a first jaw and a second jaw elongated in a direction of elongation, opposite to each other and articulated one to the other. other by means of articulation allowing their respective pivoting about a lateral axis of articulation between an angularly separated position and a close position where the two jaws are opposite to each other, with two gripping parts extending the respective jaws beyond the axis of articulation; further according to the invention, at least the first jaw comprises:
  • a rigid body having an elongated main part developing in the direction of elongation, and having parallel transverse growths,
  • at least one elastically flexible structure developing in the direction of elongation and offset laterally away from the main part of the rigid body and connected only to the parallel transverse protuberances of the rigid body,
  • the elastically flexible structure having projecting parts facing the second jaw.

According to a first embodiment, in position close to the two jaws, the transverse growths are in a plane generally parallel to the second jaw. In this case, the rigid body of the first jaw defined by its main part elongated and by its two transverse growths, a plane generally parallel and opposite to the second jaw, and the parts protruding from the elastically flexible structure develop in a direction which is generally perpendicular to the plane of the first bit.

In an advantageous embodiment, the rigid body comprises only two transverse end growths at which the respective ends of the structure are joined together elastically flexible.

In a first embodiment, constituting a pliers hair, the lateral articulation axis is arranged along the main body rigid, parallel to the steering elongation.

According to a second embodiment, constituting an article by hair closer to a pin or barrette, the axis of lateral articulation is arranged along a projection end of the main body, perpendicular to the direction elongation.

To improve the hold in the hair, said at least a jaw comprises two parallel elastically flexible structures laterally offset from each other parallel to the second bit. This multiplies the number of growths entering the hair.

Advantageously, the two jaws can have similar rigid body structures and elastically structures Flexible.

In a first embodiment, the structure elastically flexible is a curved rod-like structure in a series of adjacent arches developing along a surface substantially perpendicular to the other bit and the feet of which link constitute the projecting parts entering the hair.

Elastically flexible structure in adjacent arches a first jaw can advantageously nest, in position close together, in an elastically flexible arch structure adjacent offset from the second jaw.

According to one possibility, the growths of a first bit can develop perpendicular to the plane of the second jaw.

According to an advantageous alternative, each jaw comprises:
  • a first elastically flexible structure defining first projecting parts inclined towards a first direction of the direction of elongation,
  • a second elastically flexible structure defining second projecting parts inclined towards the second direction of the direction of elongation.

We understand that this increases the stability of the article of hair in the hair, due to the inclination of the protruding parts in two opposite directions.

According to a preferred embodiment, the article for hair additionally comprises elastic means urging in rotation of the jaws relative to each other towards their position close.

As an alternative or in addition, other means for securing the free ends of the two jaws in close position.

Other objects, characteristics and advantages of the present invention will emerge from the following description of particular embodiments, given in relation to the attached figures, among which:
  • Figure 1 is a perspective view of a hair article according to a first embodiment of the invention, in the closed position;
  • Figure 2 is a top view of the hair article of Figure 1;
  • Figure 3 is a front view of the hair article of Figure 1;

  • Figure 5 is a side view of the hair article of Figure 1; and
  • Figure 6 is a front view of a hair article according to a second embodiment of the invention.

In the embodiment illustrated in Figures 1 to 5, a hair article according to the invention comprises a first jaw 1 and a second jaw 2, both lengthened in one direction elongation I, opposite to each other and articulated to each other by articulation means allowing their respective pivoting about a lateral articulation axis II-II between a position angularly apart and a close position as illustrated in Figures 1 to 3.

For example, as illustrated in the figures, the means of articulation include, on the first jaw 1, two first perforated pins 3 and 4 parallel and spaced from each other according to a stabilization gap. The means of articulation comprise, on the second jaw 2, two second perforated pins 5 and 6, parallel and spaced from one another at a distance suitable for engaging on either side of the first lugs perforated 3 and 4. A connecting shaft 7, oriented along the axis hinge II-II, crosses the four perforated pins to connect jaws 1 and 2 allowing their relative pivoting.

Deux parties de préhension 8 et 9 prolongent les mors respectifs 1 et 2 au-delà de l'axe d'articulation II-II.Two gripping parts 8 and 9 extend the jaws respective 1 and 2 beyond the axis of articulation II-II.

In the embodiment illustrated in Figures 1 to 4, the two jaws 1 and 2 have the same structure, and we will describe mainly the first bit 1.

The first jaw 1 comprises a rigid body, integral with the gripping part 8, and having a main part 10 elongated flattened bar developing according to the direction of elongation I, and having transverse growths 11 and 12 parallel to each other. In the illustrated embodiment, there are two transverse protrusions 11 and 12, and constitute two transverse end protrusions connecting to the corresponding ends of the main part 10.

In the embodiment illustrated in the figures, in position close to the two jaws 1 and 2, the transverse protuberances 11 and 12 are in a plane generally parallel to the second jaw 2, that is to say developing in a direction generally perpendicular to the plane containing the two main parts 10 of the two jaws 1 and 2.

La première structure élastiquement flexible 13 comporte des parties saillantes 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 et 19 orientées face au second mors 2.The first jaw 1 also comprises at least a first elastically flexible structure 13, which develops according to the direction of elongation I, away from the main part 10 of the rigid body, and which is connected only to the growths transverse 11 and 12 parallel to the rigid body. The first one elastically flexible structure 13 has protruding parts 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19 oriented facing the second jaw 2.

In the illustrated embodiment, the first jaw 1 comprises two elastically flexible structures 13 and 21, for example of same shape, parallel and offset laterally from each other parallel to the second jaw 2.

The first elastically flexible structure 13 is a rod-shaped structure curved into a series of arches adjacent, developing along a surface perpendicular to the second jaw 2, and whose connecting feet constitute said projecting parts 14-19.

In the embodiment illustrated in the figures, the two jaws 1 and 2 have similar rigid body structures and elastically flexible structures. At each structure elastically flexible such as the elastically structure flexible 13 of the first jaw 1 corresponds to a structure elastically flexible 22 of the second jaw 2. In the close position of the two jaws 1 and 2, the first elastically flexible structure 13 in adjacent arches of the first jaw 1 fits into the elastically flexible structure 22 in adjacent offset arches of the second jaw 2. In other words, the protrusions 14-19 of the first elastically flexible structure 13 engage in the concave parts of the arches of the elastically flexible structure 22 of the second jaw 2.

As can be seen in the figures, in particular on the Figure 2, each of the elastically flexible structures 13 and 21 of the first jaw 1 is offset laterally, in the direction 23, with respect to the main part 10 of the first jaw 1. It has results a particularly light structure of the first jaw 1, and an elastic deformation capacity of the part comprising the protruding parts 14-19.

As seen in the figures, especially in the figure 2, the elastically flexible structure 13 develops in a surface substantially perpendicular to the other jaw 2. This surface can be flat, elastically flexible structures then being rectilinear when viewed from above. However, in the mode of embodiment of FIG. 2, the surface according to which develop elastically flexible structures 13 and 21 can be advantageously curved, to better follow the rounded shape of the head of a user.

In the embodiment illustrated in Figures 1 to 5, the protrusions 14-19 develop in one direction substantially perpendicular to the second jaw 2.

On distingue également sur cette figure 6 les parties de préhension 108 et 109 ainsi que la première structure élastiquement flexible 122 du second mors 102.Alternatively, as illustrated in the embodiment in Figure 6, it can advantageously be provided that each jaw 101 and 102 comprises a first elastically flexible structure 113 defining first protruding parts 114-119 inclined towards a first sense of the direction of elongation I, that is to say towards the left in figure 6, while a second structure elastically flexible 121 on the same first jaw 101 defines second projecting parts 124-129 which are inclined towards the second opposite direction of the direction of elongation I, i.e. to the right in Figure 6. This improves the holding of the article in the hair. We also distinguish on this figure 6 the gripping parts 108 and 109 as well as the first elastically flexible structure 122 of the second jaw 102.

The gripping parts 8 and 9 or 108 and 109 can have various forms. In FIGS. 1 to 6, we have illustrated by example a rectangular shape. Other forms may be chosen without modifying the technical effect of the invention resulting from the elastically flexible structure constituting the protruding parts intended to penetrate the hair.

Various forms of protrusions are possible. Sure the figures show protruding parts in the form of teeth. However, we can choose salient parts by ripple, creating ripples in the hair.

I.In the embodiments illustrated in the figures, constituting frontal hair clips, the axis of articulation lateral II-II is arranged along the main part 10 of the rigid body of first jaw 1, parallel to the direction of elongation I.

Alternatively, the lateral articulation axis II-II can be arranged along a transverse end protrusion 11 or 12 of the rigid body, perpendicular to the direction of extension I. The article of hair then constitutes a pliers lateral hair.

In all the embodiments, one can advantageously provide elastic means urging in jaws 1 and 2 rotate relative to each other towards their close position. The elastic means determine and thus maintain the pressure of jaws 1 and 2 on both sides a lock of hair, when the article for hair is in place in a user's hair. Elastic means can be of all known types and used in pliers hair, and for example a coil spring engaged around tree 7.

The present invention is not limited to the modes of which have been explicitly described, but it includes the various variants and generalizations contained in the field of the claims below.
