Claims (26)

  1. Biegsame Verpackungsfolie, geeignet zur Verwendung in herkömmlichen Verpackungsmaschinen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie aus wenigstens einem Film (2) besteht, der an seiner gesamten Oberfläche mit wenigstens einer bei Zufuhr von Energie irreversibel expandierbaren Substanz (8) versehen ist.
  2. Folie nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die besagte expandierbare Substanz (8) auf den besagten Film (2) aufgebracht ist.
  3. Folie nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die besagte expandierbare Substanz (8) in der besagten Folie (2) eingeschlossen ist.
  4. Folie nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die besagte expandierbare Substanz (8) in Mikrokügelchen (22) enthalten ist, die mit einer dehnbaren Membran versehen sind.
  5. Folie nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die besagte expandierbare Substanz (8) aus wenigstens einem gasförmigen Kohlenwasserstoff besteht.
  6. Folie nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Membran aus Mikrokügelchen (22) aus wenigstens einem Copolymer aus Acrylnitril, Vinylidenchlorid oder einem Gemisch davon besteht.
  7. Folie nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie aus zwei Filmen (2, 4) besteht, zwischen denen die besagte expandierbare Substanz (8) angeordnet ist.
  8. Folie nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der besagte Film (2) mit mehreren Substanzen (8) versehen ist, die bei Zufuhr von Energie mit unterschiedlichen Eigenschaften selektiv expandierbar sind.
  9. Folie nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der besagte Film (2) aus wenigstens einer Substanz besteht, die der Gruppe angehört, welche Polyester, Polyolefine, Polyamide und deren Derivate umfasst, wobei die besagte Substanz, falls notwendig, mit einem Verstärkungsmaterial gekoppelt ist, das einer Gruppe angehört, welche Papiermaterialien und Metalllaminatmaterialien umfasst.
  10. Folie nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die besagte expandierbare Substanz (8) von dem Typ ist, der durch Energie aktivierbar ist, die der Gruppe angehört, welche mechanische Energie, thermische Energie, Lichtenergie, Ultraschallenergie, Strahlungsenergie, elektromagnetische Energie und elektronische Energie umfasst.
  11. Folie nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die besagte expandierbare Substanz (8) aus einer sublimierbaren Substanz besteht.
  12. Folie nach Anspruch 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die besagte sublimierbare Substanz einer Gruppe angehört, welche p-Dichlorbenzol, Isochinon-5-carboxynitril, Trioxan, Siloxan, eine Substanz, die als Sublimationsfarben bekannt ist, und Gemische davon umfasst.
  13. Folie nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die besagte expandierbare Substanz (8) aus einer schäumenden Substanz besteht, welche eine flüssige Matrix und ein Schäummittel umfasst.
  14. Folie nach Anspruch 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die flüssige Matrix aus einer Substanz besteht, die der Gruppe angehört, die Wasser, Formaldehyde, Epoxyharze, Polyesterharze, Polyurethanharze und Acrylharze umfasst.
  15. Folie nach Anspruch 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Schäummittel für die schäumende Substanz der Gruppe angehört, welche Natriumbicarbonat, Azodicarbonamid und deren Derivate, Benzolsulfonitrylhydrazid, Benzolsulfonylhydrazid oder Harnstoffderivate umfasst.
  16. Folie nach Anspruch 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Schäummittel von dem Typ ist, der mit der flüssigen Matrix spontan reagiert, und in den Mikrokügelchen (22) enthalten ist, welche eine nach Zufuhr von Energie zerbrechbare Membran aufweisen.
  17. Folie nach Anspruch 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die schäumende Substanz außerdem wenigstens ein Inhibitormittel für die Schäumreaktion umfasst.
  18. Verfahren zur Herstellung einer biegsamen Verpackungsfolie, geeignet zur Verwendung in einer herkömmlichen Verpackungsmaschine nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 17, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass wenigstens eine Substanz (8) mit der gesamten Oberfläche eines Films (2) verbunden ist, wobei die besagte Substanz (8) bei Zufuhr von Energie irreversibel expandierbar ist.
  19. Verfahren nach Anspruch 18, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die expandierbare Substanz (8) auf die gesamte Oberfläche des Films (2) aufgetragen wird.
  20. Verfahren nach Anspruch 18, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die besagte expandierbare Substanz (8) in das den Film (2) bildende Material vor dessen Extrusion eingebracht worden ist.
  21. Verfahren nach Anspruch 18, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass auf den Film (2) eine Substanz aufgebracht wird, welche Mikrokügelchen (22) enthält, die eine dehnbare Membran aufweisen, in der die besagte expandierbare Substanz (8) enthalten ist.
  22. Verfahren nach Anspruch 20, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die besagte expandierbare Substanz (8) aus Mikrokügelchen (22) besteht, die eine dehnbare Membran umfassen, in der die besagte expandierbare Substanz enthalten ist.
  23. Verfahren nach Anspruch 21, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass nach dem Aufbringen der expandierbaren Substanz (8) auf den besagten Film (2) ein weiterer Film (4) auf den besagten Film aufgebracht wird.
  24. Verfahren nach Anspruch 21, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die expandierbaren Mikrokügelchen (22) mit dem Film (2) in einer Matrix verteilt, die durch einen Klebstoff gebildet wird, an den Film (2) gebunden werden.
  25. Verfahren nach Anspruch 21, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die expandierbaren Mikrokügelchen (22) an den Film (2) im Innern einer Matrix verteilt, die durch ein Gel gebildet wird, gebunden werden.
  26. Verfahren nach Anspruch 18, gekennzeichnet durch die Zufuhr von Energie zu dem besagten Film (2) unter Registerregelung, an den die besagte expandierbare Substanz gebunden ist.
