Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for producing a Asphalt product using and an asphalt product mixture from additives, a reactive additive, an activator and a reactive curing binder, containing a base binder and a flux component.
- the invention further relates to the use of the invention Asphalt mixtures.
- the invention relates a mixing device for producing a Asphalt product mixture from aggregates, if necessary one or more reactive additives and an activator and containing a reactive curing binder a base binder and a flux component.
- Asphalt is a mixture according to the German-speaking term made of bitumen and grain-graded aggregates.
- asphalt products often contain instead Bitumen substitutes for bitumen, such as synthetic or natural Polymers or resins.
- Bitumen substitutes for bitumen such as synthetic or natural Polymers or resins.
- Such bitumen-free mixtures under asphalt should also be understood.
- Asphalt is used in many ways, preferably for road surfaces, but also for hall floors, Sealing purposes, drip pans, dams, etc. Asphalt is therefore produced in a variety of forms and installed.
- Asphalt is mainly used in the following ways manufactured:
- Hot asphalt in the form of rolled asphalt is Hot asphalt in the form of rolled asphalt:
- rock In a stationary asphalt mixing plant, rock is a certain grain composition to about 180 to Heated 200 ° C and dried. Then it gets hot Bitumen mixed with approx. 180 ° C in an appropriate amount (4-8%). The mix must then be stored in heated silos or immediately transported to the construction site by truck become. There, the mix is mixed with asphalt pavers installed hot and must be at temperatures of at least 130 ° C with rollers.
- the aim of the present invention is for the construction industry a completely new mix of asphalt products create that for small building lots with rather low mix consumption is suitable in the time unit and also in the cool season when hot mix is not available is available. Procedures are also intended for the production and further processing of such Asphalt product mixture, a device for their Manufacture and uses of the same can be found.
- the invention is based on a reactive curing binder system, which is described in AT 406 375 B, on. Through this patent is the binder chemical composition protected and there are possible uses towards the production of a cold mix (claims 12 and 13).
- premixing of all Components other than the activator have the disadvantage that this premix has a limited shelf life, namely in best case about half a year.
- the containers have to to be tightly sealable in order to react the premix with the air, especially with the air To prevent moisture.
- premixing given a fixed mixing ratio that only is optimal for a specific application and also not can be adapted to the conditions on site.
- the object is achieved in that the additives with the activator or the reactive curing binder are premixed and so with the other components be mixed. This ensures that either the activator that triggers or accelerates the reaction, or the reactive curing binder as a reaction component is homogeneously distributed before a reaction can take place.
- the activator is also predetermined limited amount included in the mixture.
- the asphalt product mixture according to the invention is largely mixed cold or warm (20 to 70 ° C), can be cold installed and compacted cold and maintains its strength through a chemical reaction and not through a cooling process.
- the final quality of the asphalt product according to the invention fully corresponds to the properties of known ones Asphalt products. Asphalt layers according to the invention must before overbuilding with another layer of asphalt can no longer be removed, as is the case with conventional Cold mix is the case.
- the asphalt product according to the invention can also be used in small Quantities (from 200 kg) can be produced economically (Hot mix from 100 tons, mastic asphalt from 5 tons) and can be in a season when no other mix is in equivalent quality is available, produced and installed become.
- the method according to the invention can also be used for repairs over-greased cover layers (e.g. "sweaty" surface treatment) be used.
- over-greased cover layers e.g. "sweaty” surface treatment
- the asphalt product mix can also be based on Recycled asphalt granulate instead of rock material generated (saving of raw materials, particularly inexpensive due to low binder dosage). Furthermore can as additives also porous materials such as Leca, foam glass etc., or rubber granules alone or as a mixture can be used with rock material.
- the asphalt product mix can also be colored and be used, which is appropriate for its area of application expanded and economically safeguard dangerous spots leaves.
- the mixing device is characterized in that that the device with a batch mixer contains an agitator attached to a vehicle or to a trailer of a vehicle is mounted and that on Vehicle provided a container for the aggregates is.
- the asphalt product mixture can thus be on site in the required amount and in the application and conditions corresponding mixture can be produced on site. Furthermore, the process of filling in containers is omitted.
- the batch mixer is preferably a compulsory mixer. Is preferably between the outlet opening of the container for the aggregates and the feed opening of the batch mixer a conveyor belt for dosing the aggregates provided in the batch mixer with which the desired Quantity of aggregates easily and without much work can be dosed into the batch mixer.
- the device contains containers according to the invention for the individual components or any premixes from individual components, i.e. from the basic binder, the flux component and optionally the reactive additive or the reactive additives and the activator, and these containers are via lines and metering devices connected to the mixing room of the batch mixer. Consequently only has to set the desired mixing ratio are used to produce the cold mix.
- the bottom and the outer wall of the batch mixer double-walled and the space in the floor takes up Heating element, in particular a gas burner, and communicates with the space in the outer wall.
- Heating element in particular a gas burner
- the Batch mixer to a working temperature of 40 - 70 ° C be heated.
- Hot air or the hot gas of the gas burner flows from the room in the floor into the room in the Outer wall and thus heats the contents of the batch mixer evenly.
- the agitator is preferably located opposite the floor Batch mixer lid hinged so that the bearings and seals of the agitator are not excessive Exposed to heat.
- an outlet opening is provided on the outer wall a hose or a pipe with the container for Rock material is connected. With it flows the hot Air or hot gas through the hose or pipe in the container for additives and warmed them.
- the container for aggregates contains one Heating device using gas, oil, the waste heat of the exhaust gases or the cooling circuit of the engine of the vehicle or operated with microwave energy.
- a special embodiment of the mixing device is characterized in that on the vehicle devices for Tearing, scraping and crushing surface covering layers as well as a conveyor for introducing the shredded Surface covering layer material in the Batch mixer, a device for continuous delivery the asphalt product mix and a compaction roller are provided.
- a pre-coat of reactive curing Binder can be applied to the inventory.
- the activation time of the reactive curing binder system can be set so that the curing process begins immediately after compaction and with it the rapid increase in strength a driving on the filled
- the kettle can be used immediately or within a few hours makes. After about a day, the bezel shows one Texture as if it were with conventional hot asphalt been closed.
- Bituminous products cannot be used for colored asphalt products
- Basic binders are used, but find it light colored transparent synthetic or natural polymers or resins use.
- the construction of the surface treatment is one of the world proven design for sealing or increasing grip existing asphalt layers. Usually becomes a thin layer of binder (as an emulsion or flux bitumen) sprayed on and then sprinkled with grit. Because of the excessive traffic load it sometimes happens before that the grit in the wheel track so strong in the pad pressed in or the insufficiently firm Grit is crushed so that the binder is pushed up and a sticky, binder-greased "Sweating" driving surface is created. Can do the same problem also occur if the binder during construction was overdosed for the surface treatment.
- the overfat Surface torn open and scraped off and conveyed this covering material into a compulsory mixer become.
- the compulsory mixer there are additional high-strength grit material, the reactive flux oil content of the reactive curing binder (but not the binder itself!) and the reactive additive and if necessary an activator added. So that will on the one hand a reduction in the total binder content and on the other hand a harder binder quality of the covering material reached. After homogeneous mixing the mix is immediately reinstalled and rolled on.
- the compulsory mixer is preferably a mobile work machine designed that unites all work processes, so that all work steps when slowly driving over the Damaged areas carried out in a single operation become.
- a very similar design variant is for the seal of buildings, for example of concrete ceilings.
- needle felt fleece is also preferred in the more or less mineral-filled Layers of reactive hardening binder inserted.
- sealing trays can also be used be formed.
- Such a mastic is used, for example, in water dam construction used when it comes to an asphalt core seal connect waterproof to the concrete base.
- the technology according to the invention can reduce the acute risk of burns for construction site personnel when dealing with Asphalt hot mastic can be avoided.
- this method can be used instead of the pigmented reactive binder unpigmented or neutral pigmented binder be used.
- the varnished sand is a decorative natural stone sand, e.g. a gray or brown granite, a green one Diabase, a red porphyry or a white marble, etc. used.
- stencils during the scattering process in certain patterns, e.g. in a kind of pavement pattern with dimensions of 50 x 50 cm alternate the type of grit. This way, a kind of natural stone pavement effect be achieved.
- Stamps are pressed into the asphalt layer, so that there is a paving joint effect.
- Asphalt product mix to seal a joint between the building wall and asphalt surface or in the pavement area
- a factory-made granulate made of mono-grain sand (optionally 1-8 mm grain size), reactive binder (8-12 % By weight) and reactive additive is to be filled in Fugge presented and then in the course of processing with activator doused.
- the in the cavity of the monograin granules penetrating activator substance starts the Hardening reaction, so that no more direct on site Mixing or heating process, as is the case with grouting is typically required otherwise becomes.
- the activator may include also a polymer-modified binder component, so that a remuneration for the hardening at the same time (Polymer modification) takes place.
- This process is also available in a colored version feasible so that this type of joint filling is preferred can also be used in the concrete area or natural stone paving area is.
- the particular advantage is that the joints remain permeable to water for a long time because of the void-rich Grain structure is similar to a drainage asphalt.
- This hot process can with an inventive Asphalt product mix can be carried out cold.
- the special one The advantage here is that even smaller bridge joints can be executed with it because of the mechanical Effort is minimal. First it becomes a location an elastomer-modified, reactive curing binder inserted into the dilatation joint, then an asphalt layer mixture according to the invention a few centimeters inserted thickly and compacted, so that the stones the mixture is saturated with the binder. Then the next layer becomes reactive curing binder and again put asphalt mix, etc. until the entire covering thickness is filled. Within the entire system hardens within a few hours and remains a dilation joint with excellent elasticity back.
- the mixing device according to the invention is now intended based on an embodiment shown in the drawing to be discribed.
- a large container 3 is located on a vehicle 2 with rock material, e.g. Grit, the or the one Exit opening 4 can be delivered.
- rock material e.g. Grit
- This grit falls onto a conveyor belt below it 6 and from there into the inlet port 5 of the compulsory mixer 1, which is mounted on a rear of vehicle 2 Platform 16 is arranged.
- the other components of the asphalt product mix contain.
- the dosing devices 10 give predetermined amounts from the containers 7 and 8 in the mixing room of the compulsory mixer 1.
- the dosing devices 10 can as well as the closure of the outlet opening 4 of the container 3 regulated by a control unit 17 at which the dosing quantities are set and in which also tried and tested recipes for different Cold mixes according to different applications can be saved.
- the compulsory mixer 1 is cut in its bottom area shown and it can be seen that both the bottom 11 and the outer wall 12 is double-walled.
- the space 13 in the floor 11 receives a gas burner 14, of the compulsory mixer 1 to a working temperature of 40 - heated to 70 ° C.
- the hot gas rises from room 13 in Floor 11 in the space in the outer wall 12 and passes through the outlet opening in the outer wall 12 and the hose 15 in the container 3, where it preheats the grit.
- the mobile mixer device can Cold mix at any place, in any Quantity and in any mixing ratio become.
- Through the heating element in the bottom of the compulsory mixer is a year-round use, even with deep ones wintry temperatures possible.
