  • This pickling line consists of a tower mounted in a steel frame in which the tape is guided in vertical lines and sprayed with pickling acid, which is used in several floors arranged on both sides of the belt nozzles is directed against the tape, depending on the width of the tape on the have adjustable opening slots for each spray width.
  • pickling acid which is used in several floors arranged on both sides of the belt nozzles is directed against the tape, depending on the width of the tape on the have adjustable opening slots for each spray width.
  • it is difficult to adapt to other pickling tasks and are also in usually very high towers (e.g. 100 m high) required. Comparable with this Designs and constructions or arrangements are for cleaning systems known.
  • the invention has for its object a method and an apparatus to create the type mentioned above, with which the space required for the pickling or Cleaning systems can significantly reduce, and also an exact adjustment to the respective pickling or cleaning task with the aim of a reduced Pickling time or cleaning time and an improved over the range Enable pickling result or cleaning result.
  • This object is achieved with a method according to the invention in that the Belt before entering the pickling treatment part or cleaning treatment part from the horizontal belt level to an upright, vertical Belt running level and after running out of the pickling treatment part or Cleaning treatment part redirected to its normal, horizontal belt running level becomes.
  • the deflection of the tape into the upright, upright position makes it possible space-saving and space-saving to manage and a variable system structure to achieve, which allows an optimal use of the available space.
  • the Container height is determined by the bandwidth, and that in relation to its Width in a standing or vertical manner over in the pickling tank or Guided cleaning rollers with deflection rollers mounted on vertical roller axes
  • Belt is preferably from two sides with the pickling medium or Sprayed or sprayed cleaning medium.
  • the pickling tanks or cleaning tanks i.e. the containers of the pickling treatment part or cleaning treatment part which in usually has pickling or cleaning and rinsing containers and a dryer, can, depending on the space, cross to the tape running direction or parallel to Belt running direction and thus in series one behind the other or one above the other, i.e. can be built next to each other in the most varied of arrangements.
  • the exact pickling line or Set the cleaning distance by more or less spray or spray bars, i.e. Spray units can be switched on or off, whereby only minimal Amounts of acid or cleaning quantities and therefore the smallest storage containers are necessary are.
  • spray units can be switched on or off, whereby only minimal Amounts of acid or cleaning quantities and therefore the smallest storage containers are necessary are.
  • the applied pickling or cleaning medium is carried along is, so that the pickling or cleaning line inevitable in their setting changed, the medium flows when the belt is guided in an upright position due to gravity largely downwards, with which the setting is maintained.
  • a preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the bandwidth differently scaled or contaminated band areas with changed Spray pressure and / or changed acid concentration or cleaning concentration and / or increased volume flow of the pickling medium or cleaning medium be sprayed. This purposefully possible influence on experience has shown stronger scaled or contaminated strip areas, such as in particular at the strip edges, also helps to reduce the pickling time and cleaning time and thus the Pickling tank length or cleaning tank length at.
  • the turning rollers have vertical axes associated tensioned roller sets that hold the belt in the middle of the system, whereby the required belt tension over the vertically acting frictional forces between the Rolls and the tape is generated.
  • At least one of the pickling tanks or Cleaning container arranged belt deflection rollers is designed as a control roller and / or the belt deflection rollers are preferably also assigned pressure rollers.
  • the control roller or rollers of which depending on the pickling tank length or Cleaning container length one or more are designed to serve one possible correction of the tape run. Which especially with thicker strip thicknesses and long pickling tanks or cleaning tanks with an additional drive provided pulleys are the same as belt tension losses caused by bending again and thus support the maintenance of the required Strip tension.
  • the ultrasonic actuators be in one of outlet-side sealing rollers limited, narrow separate chamber are arranged, and there advantageously distributed over the range behind acid-resistant or alkali-resistant partition walls in each case on the front side of the chamber.
  • the separate chamber is formed by means of the sealing rolls on the conveyor belt, i.e. in the respective Pickling tank or cleaning tank divided. This offers the opportunity to Coupling the sound energy to the chamber constantly with acid or cleaning solution to flood and thus the transmission of sound energy to the belt surface favor.
  • the Pickling part or cleaning part 2 comprises three pickling containers or Cleaning containers I, II and III, which are a container IV for rinsing and drying of the metallic strip 5 that is to be passed through, to be pickled or cleaned followed.
