Definitions
- the invention relates to a radiator with at least one heat-emitting plate and at least one convector coupled to it in a heat-conducting manner.
- Such radiators are widespread and for example from the G 85 02 780 U1, the G 88 02 017 U1 and the G 93 20 444 U1 known.
- G 85 02 780 U1 describes a radiator with two plates or panels that each composed of two corrugated sheets welded together are.
- the plates include vertical channels that are hot Water can be flowed through.
- a convector made of sheet metal is attached to each of the raised sections of the plates exists and is also wavy bent, the distance between the elevations with the matches with the plates.
- the connection between convector and plate is made by Spot welded connections made.
- the G 88 02 017 U1 also reveals a construction that corresponds in principle. There, the sheets of the plates facing outwards are smooth. The connection between the waves or zigzag convector plates and the elevations the corrugated sheets of the plates facing inwards are in turn carried out by Spot welding.
- the invention has for its object to provide a radiator in which one the heat transfer between the plate and the convector is improved and the on the other hand the reduction of the storage space required for the provision of different Radiator types based on the same basic arrangement of panels allowed.
- this object is achieved according to the invention solved in that the convector is clamped between two plates or one Plate and an associated fastener is attached.
- the clamping fastening of the convector makes any welded connection unnecessary and ensures with a flat adaptation of the areas of the plate which come into contact with one another and the convector for a full-surface system of the two aforementioned components.
- the clamp connection according to the invention also allows both the plate and the surface of the convector is finished, e.g. powder coated, are there both the clamp connection and the heat transfer through the existing one Coating will not be disturbed and there is no fear of damage to the surface are.
- the storage space required can also be reduced with the radiator according to the invention, because heating plates and different convectors that can be combined according to their respective Final treatment can be carried out separately and independently of one another. As required different convector types can then be made from these few basic elements achieve different outputs by simply clamping the convectors.
- the reduced storage space also allows the total amount of products stored or reduce components so that the capital tie-up due to warehousing is reduced.
- the convector advantageously consists of at least one curved in a meandering shape Convector sheet, as this is a very advantageous one in the direction perpendicular to its central plane Force-displacement identifier has the comparatively large deformations in the clamped state allowed so that a secure system in all contact areas can be guaranteed can.
- the Convector sheet made of aluminum.
- aluminum is characterized by its extreme good thermal conductivity and secondly due to its very low density.
- the former Property improves the convective heating power of the radiator and the second Property leads to a noticeable weight reduction of the radiator, from what both low transport costs and more comfortable handling resulted.
- Aluminum convectors could not be used in the known radiators, because one Welded connection between the steel plates and aluminum convectors not possible.
- the convector consists of at least two meandering curved convector sheets, each parallel to and between two Panels run and can be pushed onto one another in a wedge shape by a relative parallel displacement are. This is a simple means of fixing the convector sheets To achieve clamping force and increase it as necessary.
- the convector consists of at least two meandering curved convector sheets, each parallel run to and between two plates and by twisting at least one between faces of adjacent convector sheets arranged towards one another are arranged eccentrically Clamping element are removable from each other.
- the clamping force can be released by turning the clamping element back be so that the convector sheets, if necessary, at a later date have it removed.
- Another type of permanent fixation of the division of the opposite convector plates is that between two parallel to each other and to the plates meandering convector sheets a fixing strip running parallel to the plates is arranged, the form-fitting with adjacent and perpendicular to it Edge strip of the convector plates is connected.
- the edge strips have cutouts to provide, engage in the projections of the fixing strip.
- the projections usefully consist of bent sections of the fixing strip.
- edge strips of the convector plate against lateral Move securely against the plates.
- Another embodiment of the invention provides that the fastening element with a a rail connected to a plate or a plate connected to a plate. To this In this way, the clamping force can be exerted by the fastening element via the convector onto the plate be transmitted.
- the rail or sheet is curved in the starting position and in the mounting position over its or its entire length on the edge strip of the convector plate facing away from the plate is present. In this way, a good one can be used over the entire length of the convector Attachment to the plate can be guaranteed.
- An alternative embodiment is to be seen in the fastening element as at least to design a meandering fixing plate welded to the plate, the end sections of an adapted meandering convector sheet overlaps. Finally, it is possible to arrange a fixing plate on opposite sides of the plate, so that a overall stable attachment of the convector plate and thus good heat transfer achieved becomes.
- the radiator 1 shown in FIGS. 1 and 3 consists of two through which heated water can flow and two sheets of composite plates 2 and two arranged in between, aluminum convector plates 3.
- the two plates 2 are each in their corner areas connected to each other via a total of four T-shaped angle pieces 4.
- two of the free connections of the angle pieces 4 are closed the inlet of the heated water and the other two elbows on the other hand, the return of the cooled water.
- the radiator 1 'shown in FIGS. 2 and 4 is constructed identically in principle. Only the height 6 'of the convector sheets 3' is significantly less than the height 6 of the convector sheets 3. Furthermore, the division is 7 ', i.e. the distance of the center lines of two neighboring ones Contact points of the convector plate 3 ', less than the pitch 7 of the convector plate 3 the radiator 1.
- Fig. 7 shows an alternative two-plate radiator 1 '', between the plates 2 one only meandering convector plate 3 ''.
- the two convector plates 13 are shaped so that they with their adjacent surfaces 14 can slide on one another in a wedge shape if there is a relative displacement takes place between the two convector plates 13.
- This relative shift can be achieved, for example, with the aid of traction cables 15 running through, at fastening points 16 e.g. connected to the upper and lower end faces of the convector plates 13 are. If the pull cables 15 are moved in the direction of arrows 17 and 18, they are enlarged the effective width of the two convector plates 13 and thus causes jamming of these components between the two plates.
- FIG. 9 An alternative possibility of jamming is shown in FIG. 9.
- the facing each other Surfaces 14 'of the convector plates 13' arranged opposite are V-shaped educated.
- FIG. 10 and 11 illustrate a third clamping principle in which two convector plates 23 provided on their mutually facing longitudinal sides 20 with equidistant recesses are that can interlock like a tooth.
- the total width of the convector sheets 23 is less than the distance between the two Plates 2.
- the raised areas lie in the assembly position shown in FIG. 11 of the edges 20 one on top of the other, and the upper and lower end faces 21 and 22 of the convector plates 23 are cursed. In this position there is a jamming of the two convector plates 23 between the two plates 2.
- the plate 2 'shown in FIG. 13 has on the the side facing the convector plate 3 has a large number of equidistantly arranged and vertical ones Direction of troughs that correspond to the curvature of the edge regions 26 of the convector plate 3 are adapted. This way not only good heat transfer can be established be, but it is also ensured that the edge regions 26 always the same Distance from each other.
- the goal of securely fixing the contact areas of the convector sheets to the plates becomes 14 achieved in that the convector plate 33 in its edge regions 26 on the plate side are provided with a groove-shaped recess, partially the approximately hexagonal water channels 27 of the plate 2, 2 '' reach around and thus a parallel displacement of the plate 2, 2 '' to the convector plate 33 prevent.
- the convector plate 33 ' according to FIG. 15 is in the contact areas with the plate 2 completely flat on both sides also flat. Because of the wide contact area there is hardly any risk of lateral deflections of the individual meanders of the convector plate 33 '.
- convector sheets 33 ′′ are arranged one above the other in several layers can be.
- the layer heights of opposite convector sheets are correct 33 ''.
- the convector sheets 3 When the convector sheets 3 are produced by forming, they have a curvature to the contact areas with the plate. To achieve that the convector sheets 3 both at the edge areas abutting the plates and the contact areas with the each opposite convector plate in two mutually parallel planes lie as well as all edge strips 28 have the same distance from one another, at least a fixing strip 29 is used, the form-fitting with the adjacent and Edge strips 28 of the convector sheets 3 extending perpendicularly thereto are connected.
- the interlocking is produced in such a way that the edge strips 28 are in the Drawings, not shown, are provided, in which are arranged equidistantly from one another and projections 30 extending on both sides of the fixing strip in the manner of Engage locating pins or a toothing.
- the convector plates are secured at the ends 3 on the fixing strip with the aid of a clip 31.
- full-surface gluing of the convector sheets can also be used 3 with the help of a - possibly self-adhesive - fabric 35, such as this is illustrated in FIG. 19.
- radiator 1 '' ' which is only a single one Plate 2 owns.
- On this plate 2 is a meandering in the upper and lower areas and strip-shaped convector plate 36, which is spot welded to the plate 2 is.
- the steel convector sheets 36 serve as fastening elements for the actual convector sheet 3, which consists of aluminum and only with the help of Fastening elements are clamped against the plate 2.
- This clamping is made possible through two overlapping areas 37, in which the convector sheets 36, the cross-sectional shape the convector plates 3 are adapted to be clamped on them from the outside. In this way, the clamping principle can also be transferred to single-plate radiators 1 '' '.
