Description

The present invention relates to a shelf (or shelf or shelf) for article support and intended to be fixed or mounted, in position horizontal, in the frame of a piece of furniture. In particular, it concerns a shelf particularly suitable for use in refrigerated cabinets or refrigerating apparatus for supporting, in particular, food. The invention also relates to a manufacturing method of such a tablet.

In household refrigerators, it is known to use shelves in the form of solid plates of plastic or glass, such plates being simple to clean, hygienic and able to support effectively all kinds of food. He is also known to provide these plates with an entourage making it possible to eliminate the risks of injuries to the edges of the plates and / or to reinforce said plates (see for example EP-A-582 780 or EP-A-0 856 712 (state of the art according to Article 54 (3) EPC)). In the case of a plastic frame, this frame is generally achieved by positioning the plate in a mold and injecting the plastic around the edge of the plate to form a peripheral ring. It is also known to surround the front edge of the plate and part of the adjacent side edges using a profile plastic of appropriate dimensions and possibly surround the edge rear and part of the adjacent side edges using another plastic profile of appropriate dimensions. In all cases, a change of dimensions of the plate causes a readjustment of dimensions of the surround and therefore a change of mold and / or profiles, these adaptation operations generating costs additional.

The present invention aims to provide a new tablet hygienic, practical and safe for supporting articles, particularly in refrigerated furniture, simplified and more economical to produce than the tablets mentioned above, in particular which can be manufactured in different dimensions without generating significant related costs changes in dimensions.

Ce but est atteint, selon l'invention, grâce à une tablette selon la revendication 1 et à un procédé selon la revendication 7.This object is achieved, according to the invention, thanks to a tablet according to claim 1 and to a method according to claim 7.

The tray (or “support tray”) of the tablet according to the invention is generally present in the form of a plate or an element having an approximately flat surface and being thin by relative to its surface; it includes an upper face (in position functional), generally approximately flat, intended to receive the items to be supported, and includes a bottom face and adjacent lateral sides bordering or delimiting said faces and forming angles or "corners". Thereafter, by angle or corner of the plate, we obviously hear an angle formed by lateral sides of the plateau, i.e. an angle located in the plane of the plateau (i.e. in a horizontal plane when the platform is placed in position functional).

The tray includes several corners. In many cases, it has four corners; he is generally substantially rectangular in shape (when considering for example its upper face or its horizontal section in its position of use) but could possibly have another form, for example a square shape or even another polygonal shape.

The tray is formed from at least one sheet of glass or possibly plastic (preferably transparent for aesthetic and practical reasons). In most cases, the platter is not formed from a single sheet, usually a few thick millimeters, but in some cases we can also consider more complex structures, in particular laminated structures comprising for example several sheets of glass and / or material plastic and optionally comprising one or more sheet (s) other materials). In the case where the tray has a structure complex, in particular flaky, it preferably has at least a sheet of glass or plastic on the upper side (for reasons hygiene and maintenance in particular) in order to receive the items to support. Preferably, the tray comprises one or more sheets of glass, the use of this material presenting, in the context of the invention, advantages in terms of hygiene, rigidity, durability, etc. For safety reasons, this glass is preferably tempered, mainly in the case where the tray consists of a single sheet of glass.

The surface of the tray is generally full but you can possibly consider using a tray with one or a few openwork areas. We can also consider using a tray having one or more grooves or one or more recesses or possibly a or reliefs, for example, as described later, a plate having one or more grooves allowing the anchoring or the attachment of additional parts, in particular allowing the anchoring of parts of coating. The tray can be provided with patterns or layers decorative or functional, on the surface or in between, in particular decorative patterns made in baking ink deposited for example by serigraphy then baked. The tray is preferably transparent, in in whole or in part, for aesthetic and practical reasons.

According to the invention, the shelf comprises corner pieces (or corner protections or corner fittings or protective parts corner or corner cladding), preferably in material plastic, each corner piece covering only one corner or corner of the tray. Each corner piece according to the invention is a suitable angled or angular piece at the corner of the tray it should cover. It presents two parts lateral or wings (joining forming the elbow or the angle) allowing to cover at least in part each of the two adjacent sides of the tray forming the corner to be coated. This corner protection can cover the corner and said sides over part or all of their height and / or over part of the adjacent edges of the underside and / or the face coverage, the coverage may be different depending on the location (the protection may for example have decorative openings leaving catch a glimpse of the edge of the stage in certain places). Preferably, the room corner covers the above mentioned corner and sides on at least part of their height (and preferably over the entire height at least at least level of the projecting edge at the intersection of the two sides forming the angle) and on part of the adjacent edges of the underside and the face higher.

The length of each wing of the corner piece is generally chosen less than or equal to, and preferably less than, the length of the side it covers. Preferably, for a range of products, such as for example refrigerator shelves, for which the dimensions vary from a few centimeters depending on the brands and formats, it is preferable to use, whatever the tablet produced the aforementioned range, a corner piece with each wing having a length less than or equal to the smallest standard length, in the aforementioned range, on the side which it must cover.

The support plate has several angles. According to the invention, it is provided with several corner pieces such as defined above, each corner piece not covering only one corner of the support plate. Preferably, the tablet has as many corner pieces of the type described previously (the parts can however present differences the relative to each other as illustrated later) that the tray has corners, each corner of the tray being coated with a piece angle. Thus, in the most frequent case where the plate is shaped rectangular, it is preferably provided with four corner pieces, each covering a corner of the tray.

The tray forming the tablet according to the invention therefore has a covering in the form of several corner pieces such as previously defined, these parts being separable from each other and being separable from any other coating elements. The tray is surrounded by a coating on its entire periphery, this coating being formed of several pieces of covering (including the corner pieces defined above) separated that we have assembled, each piece of covering not covering partly only two adjacent lateral sides of the tray. Preferably, for economic and practical in particular, the tray is only provided as parts of coating on the periphery, corner pieces defined above, these parts of such length and shape that they cover all around the plateau.

It appears that the tablet according to the invention is particularly advantageous, especially in terms of implementation, since it includes several covering pieces in the form of corner pieces which can each alone protect a sharp edge (in a corner of the plate) and a part at least two adjacent sides of the tray.

Preferably, at least two pieces of coating and advantageously all of the coating pieces on the lateral sides of the tablet according to the invention are able to fit together in the other. In particular, according to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, at least one and preferably each corner piece is suitable for interlock with the adjacent covering pieces on the lateral sides of the tray. Preferably, the tray is only provided, as parts of coating, corner pieces defined above, these pieces preferably having a length and a shape such that fit together and cover all around the tray.

In a particularly preferred manner, at least two pieces of coating and advantageously all the coating parts of the lateral sides of the plate are able to fit on a part, of preferably a large part, of their length and to slide or slide them into each other so as to form a set of pieces of telescopic coating. In particular, in one embodiment advantageous and preferred of the invention, at least one corner piece, of preferably at least two corner pieces and particularly preferred each corner piece is (are) able (s) to fit, in each of its (their) wings, over part, preferably a large part, of the length of the wing, and to slide or slide in the covering parts adjacent, so as to form a set of covering pieces telescopic. By "a large part of the length" is meant a part up to around 99% of said length, for example a part of between 40 and 96% approximately of the length. In the field of refrigerator shelves, this' much of the length ”represents for example a few centimeters. Otherwise, when we say that a piece of coating or at least part of a covering piece (for example a wing) is capable of fitting onto a much of its length, we obviously hear that we can fit this part on a more or less important part of its length depending on the case, the maximum nesting being on a large part of its length.

The coating parts preferably each have either one male end and one female end, i.e. two male ends, either two female ends, the female end of a part being able to receive the male end of an adjacent covering piece, male ends and female ends being arranged alternately. Preferably, as indicated above, the lengths and shapes of the male and female ends are chosen so that the end male can be inserted and slide or slide in the female end over a length of the order, for example, of several centimeters. We thus obtains a telescopic covering structure which can be suitable for trays of different sizes without the need to manufacture coating pieces of different length when the dimensions of the tray change. In other words, the same set of pieces of coating (especially corner pieces) can be used to coat, over their entire periphery, various trays with the same shape and possibly the same thickness but with different dimensions.

Preferably, the tray is only provided, as parts of coating on the periphery, of corner pieces as defined according to the invention, these parts having a length and a shape such that they snap into place and can slide or slide (or fit) together others over part, preferably a large part, of the length of their respective wings, so as to form a telescopic structure to cover the entire turn of the tray, for different sizes of tray. In particular, when using a molded corner piece having a male end and a female end suitable for receiving, telescopically, the male end of a second piece of identical angle, to cover the perimeter of a rectangular tray, four identical corner pieces, this embodiment having the advantage of requiring only one mold to make all of the covering parts and this for variable tray dimensions.

Preferably, the corner pieces are molded. The other pieces of any coatings can also be molded or can be for example extruded. Siding pieces (including corner pieces) generally have a central recess approximately U-shaped and may be provided with one or more reliefs (or projections or lugs or ribs) internal for example to stiffen these parts, and / or to correctly position these parts in relation to the plate, etc. Of these parts are preferably fixed to the tray, for example by through one or more bonding or anchoring means, preferably through one or more internal reliefs allowing the "Clipping" (or anchoring) of these parts in one or more grooves practiced on one and / or the other surface of the plate. The tablet can then be carried out, for example, by returning in force, one after the other, each of the corner pieces on a corner of the tray (and by sliding and / or retracting any other coating parts between the corner pieces) until the reliefs penetrate into the groove (s) of the tray.

According to the embodiments, one or more pieces of covering, in particular corner pieces, can (can) be customized (s) and / or may (may) include one or more parts or additional functional and / or decorative elements. In particular, one or more covering pieces (in particular corner pieces) can (may) include or be able to receive, by fixing means one or more means of assembly (or joining or of attachment) to the chassis of a piece of furniture in which the shelf is intended to be mounted and / or may (may) include (or be able to receive) a or fins on the underside (or "flanges") comprising in particular one or more metallic parts, preferably embedded in a plastic material, to stiffen the shelf and allow better holding of the latter when the tablet is only fixed to the chassis on one edge ("freestanding" shelf). We can also provide, on one or several pieces of covering, one or more edges and possibly a or seals between the ledges and the tray so as to prevent the flow of liquids out of the shelf and / or one or more bars (or backsplashes) serving as a stop to prevent, for example, that products stored on the shelf come into contact with the wall of a refrigerated cabinet containing it. We can also provide one or more handles on one side of the shelf intended to remain free and the shelf can be able to be engaged between slides by two lateral sides in gaze, possibly via assembly means such as nipples or projections, inside the piece of furniture intended to contain it. We may also provide, on the covering parts, one or more means for fixing additional functional and / or decorative element (s). In the preferred case according to the invention where the coating parts, in especially the corner pieces, fit together, we can choose pieces of covering fitting over their entire height, even when the parts have a complex section due to the presence of elements on these parts such as fins or stop bars, or you can choose cladding parts which fit only over part of their height, the remaining part being adjusted by cutting according to the size of the tray to be coated as shown later in Figures 3 and 4 especially.

In general, the tablet according to the invention is made in assembling several parts on the periphery of a support plate corner, each corner piece covering a single corner of the tray. The corner pieces and, if applicable, the covering piece (s) additional can be slid around the periphery of the tray and / or forced in to anchor in one or more hollows or glass grooves; coating parts, in particular parts corner can also be nested inside each other on at minus part of their length and height, the remaining part of their height being possibly adjusted by cutting.

For the sake of simplification and clarity, similar elements (although they may differ from one embodiment to another) bear the same references from one figure to another.

In all the embodiments of the invention illustrated in figures 1d, 1e, 2c, 3a, 3b, 4a and 4b, the shelf 1 comprises a tray made up of a sheet of tempered glass 2 and includes four corner pieces in molded plastic 4, 5, 6, 7, each covering one corner of the tray and a part of the two adjacent sides forming the corner; for example, as shown in Figure 3b, parts 4, 5, 6, 7 are coated respectively the corners 8, 9, 10, 11, and part of the adjacent sides forming these corners, the sides being referenced 12, 13, 14 and 15 and the part 4, for example, covering part of the sides 12 and 13.

Each corner piece includes two wings, each having a end (respectively 4a and 4b, 5a and 5b, 6a and 6b, 7a and 7b) and the corner pieces 4, 5, 6, 7 are able to fit and slide together in the others, over a significant part of the length of each wing. In these embodiments, it is thus possible, by fitting more or minus the corner pieces, use the same covering pieces for cover trays of different sizes (see in particular Figure 1d and the) on their periphery, the shelves produced according to these modes being particularly economical.

The manufacturing of the shelves can be done easily and quickly by sliding on the edge of the tray each corner piece one after the other of so that they fit into each other and then back force the corner pieces into one or more grooves 16 (appearing in Figure 3b) made on the upper side of the glass top a few millimeters from the edge until they are anchored in said or said groove (s). For this purpose, the corner pieces are provided with projections internal 17 (appearing in FIGS. 1b and 1c) allowing the anchoring and the holding the corner pieces in the groove (s) of the glass.

In the first embodiment illustrated in FIGS. 1d and 1e, the shelf includes four molded corner pieces 4, 5, 6, 7, the structure is illustrated in Figures 1a, 1b and 1c representing the part 4 (the other corner pieces being identical in this embodiment). Each corner piece includes two wings, one wing having a male end (respectively ends 4a, 5a, 6a, 7a) and the other having a female end (respectively 4b, 5b, 6b, 7b) capable of receive, telescopically, the male end of a corner piece identical. It is thus possible to use only one model of part of coating for coating trays of different sizes (Figure 1d and the) on their periphery, the shelves produced according to this mode being particularly economical.

In the embodiment illustrated in FIGS. 1d and 1e, one can also note that the tray is decorated on its upper side with parallel lines 3 made for example of screen printed ink then cooked.

In the embodiment shown in Figure 2c, the tablet includes four molded corner pieces, two by two identical, covering each one corner of the tray and part of the two adjacent sides forming the corner. Corner pieces 5 and 7 (the structure of which is illustrated in Figure 2b) each include two wings each having a male end (respectively 5a and 5b, 7a and 7b, the latter reference not appearing in FIG. 2c, the part 7b being hidden by the part 4a in which it is fitted), while the corner pieces 4 and 6 (Figure 2a) each include two wings each having a female end (respectively 4a and 4b, 6a and 6b) capable of receiving a male end of one of the corner pieces 5 and 7. The corner pieces arranged alternately are thus able to fit together and slide the inside each other and are thus adaptable to different trays sizes to form shelves of various sizes while minimizing adaptations made.

In the third embodiment illustrated in FIGS. 3a and 3b, each corner piece includes a wing having a male end (respectively 4a, 5a, 6a, 7a) and a wing having one end female (respectively 4b, 5b, 6b, 7b) able to receive on part of its length of the male end of an adjacent corner piece.

The shelf can be inserted between the rails of a piece of furniture by via lugs or pins 18, 19 carried respectively by the corner pieces 4 and 5, and by means of projections 20, 21 carried respectively by the corner pieces 6 and 7.
