Description

The invention relates to a method and a device for aligning eyes of tableware elements for weaving machines.

Such devices and methods are primarily for the centering of the eyes of strands known in weaving machines be used. The eye is then centered important if a thread is drawn through the eye should, because this is done, for example, by pulling devices, which at high speed is a pull-in needle Shoot through the eye with a warp thread. If there is one between the eye and the pull-in needle Touching it can damage the cord or the pulling process be disturbed. The pull-in process but usually takes place outside the weaving machine.

It is known from EP 0 500 848, such eyes only on the one hand to align laterally from the outside and on the other hand the longitudinal position or adjust the height of the eye via eyelets that are provided at the ends of such dishes. This Eyelets are used to carry the dishes such as strands or hang up. That also means that in the weaving machine the dishes in their longitudinal direction over such eyelets be moved or driven. This is how it works in the weaving machine Forces on the eyelets that can deform and wear them, and the stronger, the more often the crockery element is moved.

But since the position of the eye is only indirect via the Position of the side boundary or the inner edge of the Eye is set, the position of the eye changes in Longitudinal direction with the degree of wear of the eyelet anyway.

An adjustment is not possible with known means.

The invention as characterized in the claims is, therefore, the task solves one method and one To create a device that allows the position of a Eye in a tableware element more precisely and at Correct need.

This is achieved in accordance with the features of claim 1. It it is achieved that the position of the eye itself is detected and that as a result of the detected position of the eye a Correction of the position of the tableware element is done by the dishes element moved in its longitudinal direction becomes. The position of the eye is transverse to it Longitudinal direction through a guide for the tableware element of given outside. The position of the eye in the longitudinal direction seen the tableware element, can be optically or mechanically can be recorded or scanned. The correction is made by discrete signals triggered. In the device according to the invention a switchable sensor is provided, which by the plane of the eye passes through. The sensor can act as a thorn be formed, which is movable across the eye on a sled is arranged, or as a light barrier that is transverse to Eye arranged and is formed switchable. The sensor is also a switchable mechanical guide for the tableware element and a device for moving the tableware element assigned in its longitudinal direction.

The advantages achieved by the invention are there too see that generally strands or harness elements used in are in bad condition so can be recognized. This too then when no gross damage, just a there is an enlarged cross section of an eyelet due to wear. Such dishes can be used early and outside the weaving machine to be discarded, causing business interruptions avoids. Now that the retractor has no contact has more with the eyes of the crockery elements, too this spared.

Fig. 1 shows - in a view of an inventive Device according to a first embodiment, with mechanical Detection of the position of the eye - as a tableware element here a strand 1 partially cut and from the Seen from the side, with eyelets 2, 3 and one eye 4. The strand is located in the retracted position in a retractor as is known for example from EP 0 500 848. Two clamping devices 5, 6 and two clamping devices 7, 8 for moving the tableware element in its longitudinal direction are arranged along the strand 1, the clamping devices 5, 6 clamp or fasten the strand 1 after them by the clamping devices 7, 8, which in the eyelets 2, 3rd intervene, is positioned. All of the items listed above are known per se. In addition to the strand 1 there is also a Centering device 10 arranged with a sensor 11, the is attached to a carriage 12 which is inclined on a Level 13 is movably supported by a drive 14. The The sensor is designed as a mandrel and on a rocker 15 attached, which is rotatably mounted about an axis 16. The Rocker 15 has a contact point 17 for a switch 18 on that is stored in a fixed position.

The clamping devices 5, 6 and the clamping device 8 have each have a drive 19, 20, 21 on the lines 22, 23, 24 are connected to a control unit 25. Also the Drive 14 is connected to control unit 25 via a line 26 connected.

Fig. 2 shows a top view of the rocker 15 as part of an inventive 1, with the Contact point 17, the sensor 11, which is shown here as a mandrel and a more visible side guide here 27, 28 for the strand. From the size relationships shown here shows that the strands in this case in the area of the eye should be very narrow.

Zusätzlich ist eine zuschaltbare mechanische seitliche gabelartige Führung 32 vorgesehen, da der Sensor keine Kräfte auf die Litze 1 ausübt.3 shows a view of a device according to the invention, according to a second embodiment, with optical Detection of the position of the eye. Next to strand 1 with eyelets 2, 3 and the eye 4 can also be seen the known Clamping devices 7, 8. Here are two light barriers as sensors 30, 31 provided, which here essentially by the emitted rays are depicted in themselves in a known manner from one source 37 and one Receiver 38 are included. In addition, a switchable mechanical lateral fork-like guide 32 is provided, since the sensor does not exert any forces on the strand 1.

Es ist klar, dass die gezeigte Führung 32 auch in der Ausführung gemäss Fig. 1 mit mechanischer Abtastung des Auges vorgesehen werden kann, und umgekehrt.4 shows part of a device according to the invention, 3, with the guide 32 with the strand 1 and the beams of the light barriers 30, 31 in one view, which is rotated by 90 ° compared to the view in FIG. 3. It can be seen here that the guide 32 for much wider Eyes or braids. It is clear that the one shown Guide 32 also in the embodiment according to FIG. 1 mechanical scanning of the eye can be provided, and vice versa.

5a, b show two spatial views of an integral part 60, according to a preferred variant of a second Embodiment. While the sensors in FIGS and 4 are designed as light barriers Optical fibers 40, 41 selected (not shown). Like the sensors 30, 31 in the form shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, The first variant here is the sensors 40, 41 in two to each other parallel planes as shown of the bores 42 and 43, which these light guides 40, 41 record, is recognizable. These two light guides are available a common or two individual light sources 50 (not shown), in connection and direct it from this Light source or that emitted by these light sources Light on. The light source 50 can be laser diodes, incandescent lamps and other light generating electrical components and doesn't necessarily need to be on the same level as the light guides to be arranged. While the light barriers 30, 31 preferably in two parallel to each other, inclined planes are arranged (Fig. 3) the light guides 40, 41 - at least in the direction defining the emitted light beam or light beam Area - in two horizontal, parallel to each other Levels.

The mode of operation of the invention is as follows:
The strands 1 or crockery elements are supplied on devices such as are known for example from EP 0 500 848. Such devices are, for example, part of a pull-in device and have holding means 34 which are arranged all around and bring the tableware element into a pull-in position in a manner known per se. This retraction position is also shown in FIGS. 1 and 3 for the strand 1. If the retracted position is reached, the strand 1 is tensioned by lifting the holding means 34 by the tensioning device 8 against the spring force of the tensioning device 7 and clamped by the clamping devices 5, 6, which is caused by the control unit 25, which causes the strand 1 to arrive suitable sensors have been reported. The drive 14 is set in motion via the line 26, so that the slide 12 with the rocker 15, the guides 27, 28 and the mandrel or sensor 11 aligns the eye 4 from the outside and from the inside. The sensor passes through the plane of the eye (here perpendicular to the plane of the drawing) and the mandrel 11 is finally located above the lower edge of the eye 4. The control unit 25 outputs a signal via line 24 which controls the drive 21 in this way that the holding means 34 is shifted further upward in the longitudinal direction of the strand 1. The lower edge of the eye 4 abuts the mandrel 11 and moves it upward, which is possible because of its or the mounting of the rocker 15 about the axis of rotation 16. As a result, the contact point 17 moves away from the switch 18, so that the latter reports this to the control unit 25 via a line 35. The upward movement of the strand 1 is limited by the tilted rocker 15. If the mandrel 11 does not hit the lower edge of the eye 4, there is also no corresponding signal, which means that the strand 1 is too worn out, that is to say damaged. However, if the signal described above is emitted by the switch 17, the clamping devices 5, 6 which have been loosened previously can be tightened again and the carriage 12 can be moved back by the drive 14. Then the eye is precisely aligned and the retraction process can be carried out. So far the centering of the eye 4 as it is carried out with the device according to FIG. 1.

The centering with the device according to FIG. 3 has several Steps up that are exactly the same as described above expire. The difference is that with the Extending the guide 32 no mechanical sensor in the eye 4 is retracted. The light barriers act as sensors 30, 31 switched on when extended, and the strand 1 centering outside, guide 32 across Illuminate eye 4 through. The two light barriers 30, 31 check the position of the eye 4 in the vertical or longitudinal direction the strand 1. If both beams of the two light barriers 30, 31 present, i.e. are not interrupted so the position of the strand is good and the pulling-in process can kick off. Is only the upper beam of the upper light barrier 31 is present, the position of the strand 1 is incorrect and must be readjusted by passing the wire through the Clamping device 8 is lowered. It's just the bottom beam the light barrier 30 is present, the eyelet 2 of the strand 1 expanded upwards and the eye 4 must follow with the strand 1 be pulled up, which in turn by the jig 8 happens. Are both signals or rays of both again Light barriers 30, 31 are present, so is the position of the eye good and a thread can be drawn in. The can Guide 32 remain extended. After threading through the eye 4 it is moved back. The same here For this purpose, existing control unit 25 receives signals from the receiver 38 which indicate which light beam is present.

For both versions, the control unit 25 applies discrete signals are driven, which consist of that there is a signal or not, like this for the Switch 17 or light barriers 30, 31 applies.

Justierungsarbeiten einbau- bzw. austauschbar.
The integral part 60 combines the centering of the pull-in hook and the detection of the position of the thread eye in one part, preferably in a one-piece component. This has the following advantages, among others:
  • The constructive tolerance chains of the version according to the first variant are eliminated, which means that the light guides query the optimal position of the pull-in hook.
  • Because the integral part 60 forms the basis of the thread centering, the defined position of the light guides 40, 41 with the feed channel 46 can be ensured, for example, by simple pinning 47, 48 (cf. 36 in FIG. 3).
  • The use of fiber optic transmitters, which emit a light cone of approx. 30 °, and of fiber optic receivers, which only just receive the signals that correspond to their own fiber optic diameter, causes the offset of the side with the fiber optic transmitter opposite the side becomes irrelevant with the fiber optic receiver because the query or detection of the thread eye only has to be accurate from the leaf side or fiber optic receiver side.
  • The settings of the light barriers according to the first variant, which require extensive knowledge of mechanics, are omitted.
  • The light guides can be installed or exchanged without any adjustment or adjustment work.
