Screwed shafts 22b and 22c of uprights 14,16 are operated, in synchronism to shafts 22a of uprights 15 and 17, by a chain 21 extending through bench 1.

  • the surrounding shape of both shells 5b and 6b and bases 5a and 6a is enough to assure a pressure on the log 2 without that this it escapes during the cut, which is carried out at high frequency.
  • the peculiarity of the clamping device according to the invention is therefore that of assuring a sufficient flexibility to different ranges of diameters with easy replacement of the shells and quick adjustment of the position of the top clamp element. This, in particular, is possible with the presence of the interchangeable shells and the motorised positioning of the height of transversal bars 10 and 11.

Claims (8)

  1. Machine à découpe transversale pour des rouleaux de papier (2) et analogues comprenant une base (5a, 6a) pour lesdits rouleaux et un élément de serrage supérieur (5b, 6b) capable de presser cycliquement lesdits rouleaux (2) sur ladite base (5a, 6a) pour les maintenir en synchronisme avec une scie (3) disposée sur un cadre basculant (3a) qui les découpe cycliquement en parties (2a), caractérisée en ce que
    des moyens pour l'adaptation rapide au changement de diamètre dudit rouleau (2) sont fournis comprenant :
    des moyens de support transversaux dudit élément de serrage supérieur (5b, 6b) montés sur des moyens motorisés pour ajuster automatiquement (19, 22a, 22b, 22c) la hauteur dudit élément de serrage supérieur ;
    des moyens pour verrouiller de manière détachable (12a, 12b) une pluralité d'enveloppes (5a, 5b, 6a, 6b) disposées sur ladite base et sur ledit élément de serrage supérieur.
  2. Machine à découpe transversale selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle lesdites enveloppes mettent en prise ladite base (5a, 6a) et ledit élément de serrage supérieur (5b, 6b) au moyen de broches de verrouillage rapidement libérables (12a, 12b).
  3. Machine à découpe transversale selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle ledit élément de serrage supérieur (5b, 6b) et ladite base (5a, 6a) sont divisés en deux sections (5, 6) en amont et en aval de ladite scie (3), chaque section dudit élément de serrage supérieur (5b, 6b) étant accouplée auxdits moyens de support transversal (10, 11) qui sont montés sur des montants (14 à 17) avec une hauteur ajustable par moteur.
  4. Machine à découpe transversale selon la revendication 3, dans laquelle ledit élément de serrage supérieur (5d) et ladite base (5a) de la section en aval (5) sont accouplés à une barre transversale (10) supportée par des premier et second montants (14, 15), tandis que ledit élément de serrage supérieur (6b) et ladite base (6a) de la section en amont (6) sont accouplés à une barre transversale (11) supportée par des troisième et quatrième montants (16, 17), chaque montant étant élevé ou abaissé (22a, 22b, 22c) pour effectuer ledit ajustement en hauteur desdites barres transversales (10, 11).
  5. Machine à découpe transversale selon la revendication 4, dans lequel lesdits montants sont élevés ou abaissés au moyen d'arbres filetés (22a, 22b, 22c), des moyens étant fournis (19, 21) pour entraíner en synchronisme la rotation desdits arbres.
  6. Machine à découpe transversale selon la revendication 4, dans laquelle lesdits second et quatrième montants (15, 17) sont accouplés par une fourche (18) qui est élevée ou abaissée (22a) pour effectuer ledit ajustement en hauteur desdites barres transversales (10, 11), tandis que lesdits premier et troisième montants (14, 16) sont directement élevés ou abaissés au moyen d'arbres filetés (22b, 22c).
  7. Machine à découpe transversale selon la revendication 3, dans laquelle la barre transversale (10) de l'élément de serrage supérieur (5b) de la section en aval (5) comprend un vérin (13) qui déplace verticalement ledit élément de serrage supérieur (5b) par rapport à ladite barre transversale (10).
  8. Machine à découpe transversale selon la revendication 4, dans laquelle la barre transversale (11) de l'élément de serrage supérieur (6b) de la section en amont (6) est supportée de manière pivotante par ledit troisième montant (16) et est supportée par ledit quatrième montant (17) qui comprend un vérin (20) qui ajuste la pression dudit élément de serrage supérieur (6b) contre ledit rouleau (2) en faisant pivoter ladite barre transversale (11) autour dudit troisième montant (16).
