Description
- Die Erfindung betrifft ein Feuchtwerk mit einer Feuchtmittelwalze einer Offset-Rotationsdruckmaschine entsprechend den Merkmalem des Anspruches 1.
- Durch die DE-OS 14 36 542 ist eine von einem Plattenzylinder mittels Reibschluß antreibbare, einen elastischen überzug aufweisende Feuchtmittelauftragwalze bekannt. Diese Feuchtmittelauftragwalze weist beidendig an ihrem Umfang ringförmig angeordnete Widerlager auf, die sich in rollbarem Kontakt zu beidendig am Umfang des Plattenzylinders angeordneten ringförmigen Auflagern befinden.
- Nachteilig bei diesem Antrieb ist, daß sowohl die Ringe des Widerlagers als auch der elastische überzug der angetriebenen Feuchtmittelauftragwalze aus unterschiedlichen Materialien bestehen. Weiterhin ist nachteilig, daß die an den Enden des Plattenzylinders befindlichen ringförmigen Auflager infolge der aufgespannten Druckplatten sowohl gegenüber dem Plattenzylinder einen größeren Durchmesser aufweisen als auch aus einem anderen Material bestehen.
- Die US 51 91 835 A beschreibt ein Feuchtwerk einer Rotationsdruckmaschine mit vier Feuchtwalzen. Eine direkt mit dem Formzylinder zusammenwirkende Feuchtmittelauftragwalze ist reibschlüssig angetrieben, während die dieser. Feuchtmittelauftragwealze vorgeschalteten Feuchtmittelwalzen formschlüssig mittels Zahnrädern angetrieben werden.
- Die DE-AS 17 61 245 und die US 50 33 376 A offenbaren jeweils eine Feuchtmittelwalze, deren Ende mit einem Treibring versehen ist. Der Treibring und der Ballen der Feuchtmittelwalze weisen gleichen Durchmesser auf.
- Die US 52 22 434 A beschreibt eine Farb- und Feuchtmittelwalze, die spindelartige Nuten zum Transport von Farbe bzw. Feuchtmittel aufweist.
- Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Feuchtmittelwalze zu schaffen, welche von einer im Feuchtwerk an beliebiger Stelle befindlichen Walze reibschlüssig antreibbar ist.
- Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß durch die Merkmale des Anspruches 1 gelöst.
- Die mit der Erfindung erzielbaren Vorteile bestehen darin, daß die Feuchtmittelwalze über ihre gesamte Oberfläche einen gleichmäßigen elastischen überzug aufweist, bei welchem beidendig infolge eines "Einstiches" Treibringe kostengünstig ausgebildet sind. Somit sind keine zusätzlichen Widerlager erforderüch. Die Feuchtmittelwalze ist mit ihren Treibringen an jede mit harter Oberfläche versehene Walze des Feuchtwerkes anstellbar und von dieser antreibbar, ohne daß dafür zusätzliche Auflager erforderlich sind. Die erfindungsgemäße Feuchtmittelwalze ist an eine changierende, d. h. in axialer Richtung hin- und herbewegbare angetriebene Feuchtreibwalze anstellbar.
- Erfindungsgemäß ist, daß mit gleichem Durchmesser von Ballen und Treibringen gleiche Abwickiungsverhältnisse, d. h. gleiche Umfangsgeschwindigkeiten erzielt werden können.
- Nach einer vorteilhaften Ausführungsvariante weisen die Treibringe ein feuchtmittelabführendes Profil auf. Dies kommt insbesondere dann zum Einsatz, wenn im Feuchtmittelverlauf vor den Feuchtmittelauftragwalzen eine changierende Chromwalze angeordnet ist. Somit ist bei guter Friktion der Feuchtmittelauftragwalze über die Treibringe ein gleichmäßiger Feuchtmittelauftrag über die feuchtmittelführende Breite der Feuchtmittelauftragwalze gegeben.
- Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung ist in der Zeichnung dargestellt und wird im folgenden näher beschrieben.

- Ein Feuchtwerk 1 für einen Plattenzylinder 2 einer Offset-Rotafionsdruckmaschine besteht z. B. aus einem Sprühbalken 3, weicher gegen eine Chromwalze 4 wirkt, einer erfindungsgemäßen Feuchtmittelübertragwalze 6, einer changierenden Feuchtreibwalze 7 und einer gegen den Plattenzylinder wirkenden Feuchtmittelauftragwalze 8.
Der Sprühbalken 3 kann als bekanntes Sprühdüsenwerk ausgebildet sein. Die Feuchtreibwalze 7 wird durch nichtdargestellte Mittel, z. B. einen Zahnräderzug, vom Plattenzylinder 2 angetrieben und kann aus Chrom oder Keramik (z. B. Aluminiuaoxid oder Chromoxid) bestehen. - Jede Feuchtmittelwalze 6; 8 weist eine gummielastische Beschichtung 9, z. B. einen Mantel aus Gummi auf. Die Feuchtmittelwalze 6; 8 hat gegenüber einer maximalen Breite b11 einer Papierbahn 11 eine wirksame Ballenlänge oder Arbeitsbreite von b11 + c (c z. B. 10 mm). Bei der erfindungsgemäßen Feuchtmittelübertragwalze 6 ist die Arbeitsbreite b11 + c beidseitig durch am Umfang 12 befindliche, in die Beschichtung 9 eingebrachte Ringnuten 13 begrenzt. Jenseits der Ringnuten 13 sind Enden 14; 16 der Feuchtmittelübertragwalze 6 mit einer einen gleichen Durchmesser e aufweisenden Beschichtung 9 gleichen Materials, z. B. Gummi, den Treibringen 17; 18 versehen. Die Treibringe 17; 18 haben eine Breite d, z. B. von jeweils 30 mm.
- Die changierbare Feuchtreibwalze 7 weist eine wirksame Arbeitsbreite b11 + c + f auf und besitzt eine axiale Hublänge f, z. B. von ± 15 mm. Die Chromwalze 4 hat eine Länge, die die Arbeitsbreite b11 + c beidseitig jeweils um den Betrag d überragt.
- Die vorgenannten Zylinder und Walzen 2; 4; 6; 7; 8 sind seitengestellfest gelagert, desgleichen der Sprühbalken 3.
- Die Arbeitsweise der erfindungsgemäßen Feuchtmittelwalze ist wie folgt: Der Sprühbalken 3 überträgt das Feuchtmittel auf die Chromwalze 4 über die Arbeitsbreite b11 + c. Dabei bleibt an beiden Enden der Chromwalze 4 jeweils ein über die Arbeitsbreite b11 + c hinausgehender Bereich d trocken bzw. mit nur wenig Feuchtigkeit versehen, so daß die Chromwalze 4 ihren Antrieb über die Treibringe 17; 18 der Feuchtmittelübertragwalze 6 erhält. Die Feuchtmittelübertragwalze 6 erhält von der Chromwalze 4 Feuchtmittel und gibt dieses an die changierende Feuchtreibwalze 7 weiter. Der Antrieb der Feuchtmittelübertragwalze 6 erfolgt reibschlüssig durch die beidendigen Bereiche f der Feuchtreibwalze 7, welche auf die Treibringe 17; 18 der Feuchtmittelübertragwalze 6 wirken.
- Infolge des Changierens der Feuchtreibwalze 7 um den Betrag f - in Fig. 1 gestrichelt dargestellt - ist zumindest immer einer der beiden Treibringe 17; 18 mit einem der beiden Enden der Feuchtreibwalze 7 in reibschlüssiger Verbindung. Dabei erfolgt eine gewollte Rückfeuchtung der Treibringe 17; 18 mit Feuchtmittel zwecks Kühlung und Schmierung derselben.
- Die über einen Zahnräderzug des Plattenzylinders 2 angetriebene Feuchtreibwalze 7 gibt das verriebene Feuchtmittel an die Feuchtrydttelauftragwalze 8 ab, die die Druckplatten des Plattenzylinders 2 befeuchtet. Die Feuchtmittelauftragwalze 8 wird sowohl von der changierenden Feuchtreibwalze 7 als auch vom Plattenzylinder 2 mittels Reibschluß angetrieben. Somit werden auf der Feuchtmittelauftragwalze 8 keine Treibringe 17; 18 benötigt.
- Die Treibringe 17; 18 werden sowohl zum reibschlüssigen Antrieb der die Treibringe 17; 18 aufweisenden Feuchtmittelwalze als auch zum reibschlüssigen Antrieb einer direkt zusammenwirkenden Walze verwendet werden. Es kann zweckmäßig sein, die Treibringe 17; 18 mit einem feuchtmittelabführenden Profil zu versehen. Ein feuchtmittelabführendes Profil 19 kann z. B. aus auf dem Mantel der Treibringe 17; 18 schraubenförmig umlaufenden Nuten 21 bestehen, welche das Feuchtmittel in Richtung der Enden von der Feuchtmittelwalze 6; 8 wegtransportieren.

Claims (2)
- Feuchtwerk mit einer Feuchtmittelwalze (6), wobei an beiden Enden (14; 16) der Feuchtmittelwalze (6) Treibringe (17; 18) angeordnet sind, wobei die Treibringe (17; 18) und ein Ballen der Feuchtmittelwalze (6) gleichen Durchmesser aufweisen und die Feuchtmittelwalze eine gummielastische Beschichtung (9) aufweist, wobei die Treibringe (17; 18) durch eine in der Beschichtung (9) eingebrachte Ringnut (13) ausgebildet sind, wobei zumindest immer einer der beiden Treibringe (17; 18) mit einem der beiden Enden einer changierenden Feuchtreibwalze (7) in reibschlüssiger Verbindung ist, wobei eine Rückfeuchtung der Treibringe (17; 18) mit Feuchtmittel zwecks Kühlung und Schmierung erfolgt, wobei zusätzlich zur Feuchtmittelwalze (6) und zur Feuchtreibwalze (7) eine Chromwalze (4) angeordnet ist, wobei an beiden Enden der Chromwalze (4) jeweils ein über die Arbeitsbreite hinaus gehender Bereich (d) trocken bzw. mit nur wenig Feuchtigkeit versehen ist, so dass die Chromwalze (4) ihren Antrieb über die Treibringe (17; 18) der Feuchtmittelwalze (6) erhält.
- Feuchtwerk nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Treibringe (17; 18) in ihrer Mantelfläche ein Profil aufweisen.
