Definitions
- the present invention relates to a multi-pin connector for Connection of a multi-core stranded cable according to the preamble of Claim 1.
- Such a connector is known from DE 44 18 259 C1.
- This Connector consists of a distribution piece for receiving the stranded wire, one from a handle and a cable gland with pressure screw assembled cable holder and from a contact carrier with in Contact chambers arranged contact skewers and a union nut for Attach the cable receptacle to the plug-in part formed.
- the cable-side end part of the distributor is designed as an octagon in cross section, the eight flat lateral surfaces taper conically towards the free end.
- the shape of the inner contour of the mating portion of the handle is Adjusted outer contour of the cable-side end part of the distributor.
- the Distribution piece is made of four axially parallel channels for not receiving stripped wire strands penetrated, the partition walls two each Channels and the opposite outer walls between the channels and have slots in the corresponding lateral surfaces. This will make two resilient outer parts formed, which the cable-side end part when exposed to radial Make forces effective as a clamping area for the stranded conductor.
- the present invention is therefore based on the object, the above eliminate listed disadvantages and a connector for special fast and safe assemblies, preferably multi-pole Propose stranded wire.
- the cable holder of the multi-pin connector includes one Strand conductor holder for immovable fixing of the strand conductor and on it then an end bracket facing the plug-in part, which in the Penetrate contact skewers.
- the stranded conductor holder has a fixed, the End bracket facing fixation plate and a movable in the axial direction Clamping plate on each stranded wire when moving towards the fixing plate evenly stuck immovably against train movement.
- the end bracket is at least over the penetration length of the contact skewers in the channels in a radial Elastic direction to pass through when inserted contact skewers Squeezing together on the circumference essentially for contacting uniform radial pressure in all channels with adapted Generate channel diameter.
- the stranded conductors are in the clamping plate individually managed and can already prevent premature and Unwanted extraction secured when assembling other stranded conductors become.
- By moving the clamping plate in the direction of the fixing plate a parallel, but individual and uniform jamming of each strand, see above that it is irrelevant whether all channels provided in the connector have Strand conductors are occupied.
- an elastic end bracket that can be made of an elastic plastic or rubber material. It is also possible, a corresponding in the radial direction resilient To use clamp tube end pieces that are able to withstand the radial pressure record and for a good contact of the front side in the stranded conductor jamming contact skewers.
- the non-stripped wire conductors are led through the channels the cable holder with the clamping plate and the fixing plate as well as the one on it subsequent end bracket performed.
- the end bracket can on the Plug side facing a stop for the stranded wire. If all stranded wires are plugged in, the clamping plate is inserted along the stranded wire Moved towards the fixing plate. The stranded conductors are against every movement jammed. Then the plug part with the contact skewers into the channels the end bracket inserted, with a through the elastic training corresponding uniform pressure in the radial direction on the channels and so that it is exerted on the strands.
- This arrangement thus allows a quick and safe assembly, whereby due to the independent stranded wire clamping both Contact distances of the smallest and largest dimensions can be produced can.
- the stranded wire is clamped directly in front of the contacting zone, so that the Compression length of the stranded wire in the contact zone to the smallest possible dimension reduced and a pushing back of the stranded wire during the contacting process is prevented.
- the elastic end bracket leads a permanent Contact pressure on the condensing strands.
- the contact pressures can be measured in accordance with the corresponding modulus of elasticity be that no material flow impairing the contacting in the Strand insulation occurs in the contact zone when inserting the contact skewers, which could have a lasting impact on contact pressure. With that a constant contact resistance over a longer period of time be ensured.
- the end bracket is as elastic pressure plate.
- the is advantageously on Arched circumference.
- the plug part when inserting the contact skewers into the channels of the pressure plate press the pressure plate together around the circumference required contact pressure in the channels and the elimination of Existing play between stranded wire and channels for an optimal Contacting and an exact centering to the contact skewers too guarantee.
- the channels in the pressure plate are advantageously on the Plug side facing thin-walled closed to a stop for the To form stranded wire.
- the elastic end bracket is according to another embodiment of the invention realized by resilient clamping tube end pieces that slit in the longitudinal direction and are thus C-shaped in cross section. These are clamp pipe pieces connected to the fixing plate and act on the pressure plate Stranded conductor or the strands and their insulation.
- the elastic holding of the stranded wire ends in the end bracket means that Danger of upsetting and pushing back the stranded wire.
- the clamping plate in the direction Fixing plate pointing, at the free end tapered clamping domes for the Inside the stranded conductor, which can be inserted in the longitudinal direction of the dome.
- the wall of the Clamping domes are used to reduce the channel cross-section in the radial direction compressible and fix the stranded wire in the area of the dome foot and the Dome tip to prevent it from accidentally slipping out during assembly avoid.
- the clamping domes When assembling with the fixing plate, the clamping domes arrive with its conical end in a correspondingly trained and the Dome tip compressing recess in the fixing plate, so that everyone Stranded conductor individually and independently of the one acting on other stranded conductors Press pressure is jammed.
- the clamping plate By moving the clamping plate along the Stranded wire, all stranded wires are jammed in parallel. The jamming the stranded wire is thus as close as possible to the end bracket and Squeezes are excluded. This also leads to a short one Cable holder and thus also to a short connector.
- the clamping plate with the fixing plate for example by means of a snap, bayonet or screw connection, in particular union nut, continuously connected and held, the Clamp domes get into the recesses of the fixing plate when connecting. This ensures that the stranded wire is permanently jammed and secured.
- the cable holder and the plug-in part are also continuously, preferably with a snap, bayonet or screw connection, in particular Union nut, connected, with the connection pushing in on the front the contact skewers in the stranded wire and the extensive coincidence of the Pressure plate is done. This allows the indentation and compression without great effort and a permanent and safe contact will be realized.
- the plug-in part covers the plug-in part and the Snap, bayonet or screw connection connecting the cable receptacle Clamping plate and fixing plate connecting snap, bayonet or Screw connection.
- This measure also helps to shorten the Plug connector and serves to additionally secure the jamming of the Stranded conductor in the cable holder.
- the figures show a longitudinal section through a multipole connector 1, the upper half of the connector 1 in the open state with already in the Channel 8 inserted stranded wire 7 and the lower half of the figures Connector 1 shows in the assembled state.
- the connector 1 has a cable holder 2 and a plug-in part 3, which by means of a Union nut 4 are joined.
- the cable holder 2 includes one Stranded conductor holder 5 and a flexible pressure plate 6 as an end holder.
- axially parallel channels 8 are provided, in which the stranded wire in the 1 to a stop 9 in the form of a thin Wall can be inserted into the elastic pressure plate 6. It is also possible, not to provide a stop and push the stranded wire through and all on the cut off the same length.
- the stranded conductor 7 is inserted into the channels 8 the stranded conductors first reach a movable one via an insertion funnel 10 Clamping plate 11 of the stranded conductor holder 5.
- This clamping plate consists of a Plate with individual with a longitudinal slot 27 clamping domes 12, the enclose the respective channel.
- the clamping domes are thin-walled and tapered at the top.
- the channel 8 inside the clamping dome 12 is formed such that the wall of the clamping domes 12 in the area of Dome tip 13 and dome foot 14 lightly fix the inserted stranded wire, in order to avoid slipping back during the assembly of other stranded conductors, but allow you to pull it out.
- the fixing plate 15 has the corresponding External dimensions of the clamping domes 12 formed recesses 16 in the clamping domes 12 in the direction of the movement of the clamping plate 11 Fixing plate 15 arrive.
- the stranded wires 7 are immovable against Pull out substantially the entire length of the channel in the each clamp dome 12 jammed close to the pressure plate 6.
- the movement the clamping plate 11 and the connection to the fixing plate 15 is infinitely variable by means of a union nut 17.
- the elastic end bracket is as one Pressure plate 6 made of a rubber-elastic material, the circumference has a convex curvature 18.
- the plug-in part 3 with the Contact skewers 19 are pressed into the end of the stranded conductor 7.
- the Stop 9 is pierced by the tip of the contact spike 19.
- the Contact spit 19 serves in a known manner on the one hand for contacting of the strands in the stranded conductor 7 and with the opposite end of the Contacting a correspondingly designed not shown Mating connector.
- the effect on the inside Scope of the plug-in part 3 arranged edges 20 and 21 a pressing together the elastic pressure plate 6 in the radial direction, so that the channel cross section adapts to the actual cross section of the inserted stranded conductor 7.
- the contact skewer 19 is pressed in, which creates a counter pressure generated from the inside in the radial direction. This will be the first at the same time the existing tolerance differences of the elastic pressure plate 6 and that entire play between the stranded conductor 7 and the respective channel 8 is eliminated.
- the axis center points of the respective channels 8 are also defined by the edge 20 brought exactly to the subsequently penetrating contact skewers 19 in alignment.
- the contact skewers 19 penetrate into the ends of the front Stranded wire 7 to contact the wires.
- the elastic pressure plate 6 exerts a permanent contact pressure on the compressed strands 7.
- the formation of the stranded conductor holder 5 in the form of a movable Clamping plate 11 and a fixing plate 15 cause the stranded conductors to be jammed 7 in parallel, but independently of each other with regard to the clamping pressure.
- the connector can be used with any number of channels be provided, it is not necessary that all channels with stranded wire are equipped to securely clamp the individual stranded wires.
- Furthermore can by this design of the stranded conductor holder 5 in a certain Range of different strand diameters can still be jammed. There are thus not separate cable receptacles for each stranded conductor diameter adapted diameters of the channels required.
