    c) an inner receptacle (12) extending as far as the rear area of the support tube (8) adjoins the shaped element (9) to the rear and has attached to it, on the side facing the shaped element (9), an expanding ring (13) with radially resilient claws (14),
    d) the inner receptacle (12) is arranged so as to be longitudinally displaceable between a first and a second end position within the support tube (8), in such a way that,
    in the first end position, in which the packing container (1) is closed at the rear, the claws (14) are pressed against the outer wall (16) of the front part (6) of the projectile, such that the front part (6) of the projectile is supported in frictionally engaged manner against the claws (14), and,
    in the second end position of the inner receptacle (12), displaced towards the rear end of the packing container (1), the claws are forced towards the wall of the support tube (8) by means of a guide element (20), such that the frictional engagement between the claws (14) and the front part (6) of the projectile is removed.
  2. A packing container according to claim 1, characterised in that the support tube (8) is a metal tube.
  3. A packing container according to claim 1 or claim 2, characterised by the features:
    the guide element (20) for forcing apart the claws (14) of the expanding ring (13) is arranged on the shaped element (9) and hook-shaped,
    the respective end (21) of the claws (14) is likewise hook-shaped and engages in the corresponding hook-shaped end of the guide element (20) and
    the respective hook-shaped end (21) of the claws (14) and/or the corresponding hook-shaped end of the guide element (20) is wedge-shaped, in such a way that, when the inner receptacle (12) is displaced into the second end position, the claws (14) of the expanding ring (13) are forced towards the wall of the support tube (8).
  4. A packing container according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the expanding ring (13) is a conically shaped plastics ring provided with slits in the direction of the longitudinal axis (15) of the packing container (1).
  5. A packing container according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the claws (14) of the expanding ring (13) are provided on their faces (17) facing the front part (6) of the projectile with an additional friction-increasing material layer (18).
  6. A packing container according to claim 5, characterised in that the additional material layer (18) consists of rubber.
  7. A packing container according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the face (17), facing the projectile (5), of the respective claw (14) is of curved construction, in such a way that displacement of the projectile (5) relative to the inner receptacle (12) towards the rear end of the packing container (1) results in an enlargement of the zone of frictional engagement between this face (17) and the outer wall (16) of the front part (6) of the projectile.
  8. A packing container according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the inner receptacle (12) is a paperboard or plastics tube.
  9. A packing container according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the inner receptacle (12) is provided at the rear with recesses (22) for engaging behind the case base (4) of the cartridge (2).
