Abstract
Bei einem Verfahren zum Richten von Metallbändern mittels einer Rollenrichtmaschine, bei dem das kontinuierlich längsbewegte Metallband zwischen einer Anzahl von in Bandlaufrichtung hintereinander angeordneten Richtwalzen (14,13) hindurchgeführt wird, die voneinander getrennt auf einem oberen und unteren Walzenstuhl (12,11) gelagert sind, werden zur Erzielung eines guten Richtergebnisses bei Metallbändern mit variablen Banddickenverlauf die Richtwalzen (14) an mindestens einem Walzenstuhl (12) so gesteuert, daß ihr Abstand zu den ihnen zugeordneten Richtwalzen (13) am anderen Walzenstuhl (11) sich abhängig vom Banddickenverlauf des Metallbandes (10) ändert. Die Richtmaschine weist hierzu an ihrem Bandeinlauf und -auslauf angeordnete Keilpaare (27) auf, die mit ihrer Keilschräge (27a) nach vorgegebenen Steuerprogrammen parallel zu den Achsen der Richtwalzen (14) verschoben werden.
