Abstract

Eine Vorrichtung zum Besäumen von Glasscheiben (3) besitzt wenigstens einen Schleifkopf als Bearbeitungswerkzeug, bestehend aus zwei einander kreuzenden Bandschleifern (10, 12), die gleichzeitig an den Kanten eines Randes der Glasscheibe (3) diese Kanten säumend angreifen. Die Bandschleifer (10, 12) sind im Maschinengestell (1) verschwenkbar gelagert, so daß sie aus einer Bereitschaftsstellung in ihre an den Kanten eines Randes der Glasscheibe (3), die beispielsweise zum Entfernen von Graten zu besäumen ist, angelegt werden können. Dadurch, daß die Bandschleifer (10, 12) verstellbar angeordnet sind, kann ihre Lage an verschieden dicke Glasscheiben (3) angepaßt werden. Wenn mehrere Schleifköpfe vorgesehen sind, können Glasscheiben (3) an meheren Rändern gleichzeitig bearbeitet werden.
