Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein ständerloses Walzgerüst, mit mindestens zwei Arbeitswalzen (1), die in Walzenlagern (5) gelagert sind und sich längs je einer Walzenachse (2) erstrecken, wobei die Walzen (1) einen Walzspalt (4) und die Walzenachsen (2) eine Walzebene (3) definieren, wobei die Walzebene (3) beide Walzenachsen (2) enthält, wobei die Walzenlager (5) über zwei Gruppen (6, 7) von Verbindungselementen (8) miteinander verbunden sind, wobei die Gruppen (6, 7) auf je einer Seite der Walzebene (3) angeordnet sind, wobei die Gruppen (6, 7) in einer Verstellrichtung (z) über eine Verstellweglänge verstellbar sind, wobei mindestens eine der Gruppen (6) unter Last mittels eines Verstellantriebs (11) in der Verstellrichtung (z) über eine Lastweglänge verstellbar ist, wobei die Lastweglänge erheblich kleiner ist als die Verstellweglänge. Erfindungsgemäß sind die Gruppen (6, 7) bezüglich des die Lastweglänge übersteigenden Teils der Verstellweglänge antriebslos ausgebildet.
