- A device for radially fixing, in a stepwise adjustable fashion, cutting blades in cutting heads for working wood or plastic, consisting of wavelike profiles (15) on the cutting blade (1) and of counter-elements (2) of the cutting blade mount in the cutting head cooperating therewith with positive engagement which have a profile that is complementary to the wavelike profile (15) of the cutting blade side edges and engages therein, wherein the extent of the wave profile (15) in the direction of the cutting blade side edges (13) is greater, by at least one wave division, than the corresponding extent of the complementary profile (21) of the counter-elements (2), characterized in that the wavelike profiles are ground on the two opposing side edges, the wavelike profiles (15) being in each case formed in lateral cut-outs (14) in the cutting blade side edges (13) and the cutting blades being hard metal cutting blades.
- The fixing device according to claim 1, wherein the lateral cut-outs (14) are respectively formed in the centre of the radial length of the cutting blade side edges (13).
- The fixing device according to either of claims 1 or 2, wherein the counter-elements (2) are disposed fully within the lateral cut-outs (14) of the cutting blade.
- The fixing device according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the counter-elements (2) are realized in the form of claws having a profile which comprises several wave divisions and is complementary to, or corresponds to, the wavelike profile (15) of the cutting blade side edges, whereas the profile of the cutting blade side edges comprises more wave divisions than the profile of the claw-shaped counter-elements.
- The fixing device according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the counter-elements (2) are formed by means of cylindrical pins which respectively engage in a wave trough of the profile (15) of the cutting blade side edges, and wherein the profile of the cutting blade side edges comprises at least two wave troughs.
