Claims (6)
- Zykloidalpropeller mit einem Rotor;
die Propellerflügel des Rotors sind zyklisch schwenkbar gelagert;
die Rotordrehachse und die Flügelschwenkachsen verlaufen im Betrieb parallel zueinander und senkrecht;
am freien Ende der Propellerflügel (1) ist eine Schutzplatte (2) vorgesehen;
die Schutzplatte (2) weist - in Schnitten senkrecht zur Achse zwischen den Extremlagen des Steuerpunktes (S, S') - im Bereich um die Schnittebene durch die Extremlage (ev) des Steuerpunktes für Vorausfahrt in Fahrtrichtung vom eine starke Profilierung auf;
die Schutzplatte (2) weist im Bereich um die Schnittebene durch die Extremlage (er) des Steuerpunktes für Rückwärtsfahrt in Rückwärtsfahrtrichtung vom eine starke Profilierung von etwa gleicher Größe auf. - Zykloidalpropeller nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß in der Mitte zwischen den Ebenen durch die Endlagen der Steuerpunkte die Schutzplatte (2) wenig profiliert ist.
- Zykloidalpropeller nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Profilierung von der entsprechenden Kante der Schutzplatte (2) im Bereich zwischen den Ebenen durch die Extremlagen des Steuerpunktes maximal jeweils etwa bis zum Flügelkreis (8) durchgeführt ist und im weiteren Bereich der Schutzplatte, also ihren - bezogen auf die Schiffslängsachse - seitlichen Rändern zu, höchstens etwa nur die maximal im anderen Bereich demgemäß sich ergebende Profilierung vorgesehen ist.
- Zykloidalpropeller nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Profilierung nach einer Parabel verläuft.
- Zykloidalpropeller nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sich die Schutzplatte in dem Bereich, wo keine Profilierung vorhanden ist, sich in Richtung von ihrer Kante, von der Profilierung ihren Ausgang nimmt, bis zu ihrer gegenüberliegenden Kante in ihrem Querschnitt verjüngt.
- Zykloidalpropeller nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Verjüngungsgrad zwischen 40° und 60° beträgt.
