    Claims (7)

    1. A low voltage multipolar electrical switching device comprising a casing (10) which includes internal current conductors, a face (12) close to which extend parallel distribution conductors (C) substantially located in a common plane (P) and power connection screw terminals (B) which may be connected to distribution conductors in order to connect the latter to connection pads (A) of the internal current conductors,
         characterized by the fact that:
      the screw terminals (B) are of the insulator perforation type and comprise a cage (30) cooperative with a clamping part (40) by means of prongs (43) and provided with an active passage (36) for the associated distribution conductor (C) to be connected, the cages being substantially aligned with the common plane (P) of the distribution conductors, at least one of the cages (30) has at least one passive passage (38) for the distribution conductors (C) to be connected to the other terminals.
    2. The device according to claim 1, characterized by the fact that:
      the cages (30) are stepped and comprise a screw (31) at one end and the active passage (36) of the associated distribution conductor (C) at the other end, the screws of the different cages being located on the same level and the active passages being located on shifted levels and between these ends, a median portion having passive passages (38) and of differentiated height according to the cages.
    3. The device according to claim 1, characterized by the fact:
      the prongs (43) for perforating the insulator are provided on the clamping parts (40) and these parts have different lengths according to the terminals.
    4. The device according to claim 2,
         characterized by the fact that:
      the cages (30) are mobile and the clamping parts (40) are fixed and jammed against the respective connection pads (A).
    5. The device according to claim 1,
         characterized by the fact that:
      the screw terminals (B) are accommodated in a terminal block (20) comprising a body (21) and a sole-plate (22), the sole-plate bearing for each terminal (B) a clamping part (40) with prongs (43) for perforating the insulator and being provided with passages (24) crossed by the connection pads (A) of the device.
    6. The device according to claim 5,
         characterized by the fact that:
      the terminal block (20) in unpluggable as a whole from the connection pads (A) of the device.
    7. The device according to claim 1,
         characterized by the fact that:
      the screw terminals (B) are accommodated in a terminal block (20) comprising a body, and that a bracket (31a) which may be applied onto the connection pad (A) is associated with the screw (31), the body (21) including apertures (26a) for inserting the bypass cables into the provided space between the bracket (31a) and the connection pad.
