Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a braking device for rail traveling cranes, comprising a mobile frame, with which is connected to an up and down movable brake shoe by means of an actuating device during the braking process the rails can be pressed.
The creation of effective braking devices is in of primary importance for bridge cranes and gantry cranes, since the braking devices known so far not fully satisfy.
It is known in the front area of the frame running frames to arrange a brake shoe of overhead traveling cranes for the implementation of the braking process, usually triggered by an operator over the entire surface of the rail is pressed. Due to the effect of the Braking recoil on the frame bogie the wheels often derail or a compression of the frame. Fixing the Damage is usually at a disproportionately high cost connected.
To avoid the mentioned risk of derailment, one has already trained brake shoes, whose Side surfaces for braking on both sides on the Act on the rail head. Here it has been shown that due to the large braking forces involved in braking occur, the rails torn out of their holder can be.
Also braking devices that are a combination of one when Braking with its bottom surface from above on the Brake shoe acting on the rail surface and two on the side Brackets encompassing rails do not have to the desired success. The side rails encompassing brake shoes are throughout Route of the crane in the immediate vicinity of the rails. In the event of irregularities in laying the track therefore the rail surfaces already come with the side brake shoes in connection without a real Braking is desired. The episode is not just one under Circumstances caused by this may interrupt the journey of the Crane, but also damage to the tracks on the one hand and the brake shoe on the other.
The object of the present invention is to create a Braking device which has the disadvantages mentioned above excludes, that is, which allows the crane to brake fully, without the frame bogie being compressed or is bent and on the other hand, without the rail track is damaged during braking.
According to the invention this is achieved in that the brake shoe a square or rectangular plan, parallel longitudinal side surfaces, and parallel front and back surfaces and also with a longitudinally extending tunnel-like recess open towards the bottom with approx U-shaped cross section is provided by the Front surface of the brake shoe up to the rear surface enough, the opposite legs of the U-shaped cross section of the tunnel-like recess of the Brake shoe from its lower end upwards approach diagonally.
Due to the design of the braking device according to the invention is at one of the operator or if necessary also by an electronic control initiated braking process, either in the front area of the Framework arranged or in a recess of the Frame brake shoe worn down on the Rails pressed. The two inner surfaces come here of the U-legs of the Brake shoe only in contact with the rail edges, whereby the magnitude of the pressure forces transferred to the Rails is caused by the angle of inclination U-legs against the horizontal. The steeper the sloping Course of the leg is selected, the larger the vertical component of force transmitted to the rail becomes. Due to the symmetry of the U-profile of the brake shoe are the forces transmitted by the two U-legs of course the same, so that the rail head pressed downwards on both sides with the same thickness becomes. As a result of the oblique course of the U-leg but not just a vertical force when braking the rails are exercised, but the rail head experiences simultaneously opposite to each other horizontally running power components. The result is that the Training of the brake shoe according to the invention by the horizontal and simultaneously acting on the rails vertical force components of the above discussed training of a braking device according to the prior art the desired success of technology, namely the achievement of a vertically directed on the rail head Braking force and at the same time a lateral bracket of the Rail is reached without the according to the state the brake device known in the art, consisting of a Combine one from above onto the rail surface acting brake shoe with two laterally encompassing the rails Brake shoes associated disadvantages in purchase should be taken.
To the braking force of the brake shoes the respective through the Size and weight of the crane specified requirements adjust, the slope of the course of the U-legs selected according to the required braking force. To at given dimensions of the brake shoe optimal values to be able to achieve this, according to one preferred training of the brake shoe on the U-legs its the open, lower end of the tunnel-like recess opposite end in a horizontal Interface. This makes the slope possible the oblique course of the U-leg within one to vary the larger range.
The brake shoe according to the invention can either in Front area of the frame bogie of the crane arranged or in a recess of the Frame be housed.
It has been shown in practice that the Training of the brake shoe according to the invention achievable Braking force limits are set when the weight and the Size of these cranes in use is very large. If the speed of such cranes while driving for example, exceeds its maximum allowable value and the crane must be braked quickly and safely without the Damage track systems or the frame of the crane, is preferably the top surface of the brake shoe in Roof shape formed with a first surface section, the seen in the longitudinal direction, from the front surface of the Brake shoe rises against the horizontal and either extends to the rear surface of the brake shoe, or into a slope that slopes towards the rear surface of the brake shoe second surface section continues.
In this preferred embodiment of the invention Braking device then comprises the braking process two Individual processes, namely on the one hand an interaction of Frame and brake shoe and on the other hand the effect of the brake shoe on the rails, but both processes interact and complement and reinforce each other.
In this construction, the braking device is used by the Operator or, if necessary, by a electronic control initiated a braking process, so the one provided in the frame of the crane Recess brake shoe worn down on the rails pressed. Here, the two inner surfaces of the in Rail leg extending U-leg of the Brake shoe in contact with the rail edges, however the magnitude of the compressive force transferred here is not yet the required braking force is reached in full. The The crane's journey does not come to an abrupt end yet Standstill, but the frame, which is a small one Distance from the brake shoe can be even further Move the direction of travel forward until the inclined surfaces of Brake shoe and frame come into contact with each other. Here, the sloping, rising runs Inner surface of the recess in the frame on the rising first surface section of the top surface of the Brake shoe on and on the one hand causes the brake shoe with the one exerted on it by the great weight of the crane Force is pressed on the rail and that on the other hand the Frame wheels from the rail surface behind something to be lifted off at the top. This will make two achieved significant advantages. The high one, on the rails effective pressure is only generated when the wheels have already been lifted off the rail. First then the rails through the shape of the brake shoe with its two U-legs at the moment of braking embraced on both sides, so that they do not come out of their holder can jump.
Of course, it is an advantage in the frame bogie of the crane several braking devices at intervals to be installed from each other to operate them simultaneously can and thus increase the braking force.
If you design the top surface of the brake shoe so that it both a rising and a falling Has the top surface area, the braking device is also equally applicable for opposite directions of travel.
Further advantageous developments of the device according to the invention result from the subclaims and from the The following description of exemplary embodiments based on the drawing.

Understanding that with the help of the braking device with a Brake shoe according to Fig. 2 achievable braking is by a comparison of the sectional views of FIGS. 3 and 4 relieved.
In Fig. 3, the brake shoe 1 shown in Fig. 2 is in one
Through a in the
zu sehen.4, the position of the brake shoe 1 is relative to
Frame 13 and to the
konstruktiv vorgesehenen Abstandes trotz abgesenktem
The brake shoe 1
lowered so that its
The wheels derail due to braking
can act on the
In summary, it should be pointed out that as soon as
the speed of the crane, for example, its maximum
permissible value is exceeded by the operator or
if necessary also by electronic sensors of the brake shoe

The symmetrical structure of the brake shoe shown in the figures

Wie bereits vorstehend erwähnt, kommen als Betätigungseinrichtungen
für die erfindungsgemäße Bremseinrichtung hydraulische
19, mechanische 20,21 Einrichtungen oder auch elektrische
Fühler in Frage. Diese sind in den Figuren 8 bis
10 schematisch angedeutet. Auf ihre Wirkungsweise braucht
jedoch hier nicht näher eingegangen zu werden. As mentioned above, come as actuators
