Claims (11)
- An electrical connector with integral secondary lock, constituted by two parts having electrical contacts and adapted to be coupled to ensure an electrical connection, one of the two parts of the connector comprising an insulating housing (14-15) adapted to receive electrical contacts carried by cables (6, 7) and maintained in the housing (14, 15) by means of primary locking, the secondary lock (21-25) being integrated with the housing (14-15) during the injection moulding of the latter and presenting a locking position showing that the contacts (2, 3) are maintained in the housing by the means of primary locking, characterised by when not in locking position, the secondary lock (21-25) constitutes an obstacle preventing the coupling of the two parts of the connector.
- The connector as claimed in claim 1, characterised by the secondary lock comprising at least one deformable wall (21), at least one stiff wing (23) linked to the deformable wall (21), at least one longitudinal bar (25) linked to the stiff wing (23), and at least one pin (26) carried by the bar (25).
- The connector as claimed in claim 1, characterised by the secondary lock having two stable positions, one stand-by position and one locking position, the transition from the stand-by position to the locking position being carried out by a trigger effect.
- The connector as claimed in claim 1, characterised by the secondary lock being constituted by two lateral deformable walls (21, 22) carried by the housing, two stiff wings (23, 24) each of which being linked to said deformable lateral walls (21, 22), one longitudinal bar (25) positioned between the two wings (23, 24) and linked to each of them, and at least one pin (26) carried by the bar (25) and adapted, in a locking position, to be inserted behind the electrical contacts (2, 3).
- The connector as claimed in claim 2 or 4, characterised by the pin (26) being connected to the housing by ties (37, 38) adapted to break by pressure onto the bar (25) during the transition to the locking position.
- The connector as claimed in claim 4, characterised by the pin (26) carrying an elastically deformable arm (32) carrying a hook (33) adapted to catch under a shoulder (34) of the housing so as to ensure a security locking function when the secondary lock is in the locking position.
- The connector as claimed in claim 4, characterised by the pin (26) carrying a guiding lug (27) co-operating with a groove (28) of the connector so as to ensure the guiding of the pin (26) during its transition to the secondary locking position.
- The connector as claimed in claim 4, characterised by the transition from the position preventing the coupling of the connector to the locking position being carried out by pressure onto the bar (25) and deformation by flexion of the lateral walls (21, 22).
- The connector as claimed in claim 4, characterised by the pin (26) presenting a profile adapted to co-operate by complementary forms with a profile of the housing so as to ensure a security locking function when the secondary lock is in the locking position.
- The connector as claimed in claim 4, characterised by the pin (26) being inserted, in its locking position, in the transition zone (12, 13) of the electrical contacts (2, 3).
- The connector as claimed in any one of claims 1-10, characterised by the second lock being carried by any surface of the housing.
