Claims (6)

  1. Haushaltsgeschirrspülmaschine, das ein äußeres Gehäuse (1) mit zwei vertikalen Seitenwänden umfasst und welches einen im wesentlichen parallelepipedförmigen Waschbehälter (4) aufnimmt, der eine offene Vorderseite aufweist, die mittels einer an dem äußeren Gehäuse (1) schwenkbar angebrachten mit Wasch- und Spülhilfeverspendemitteln (4) versehenen Tür (6) verschlossen werden kann, wobei die Tür an ihrem oberen Abschnitt einen Bedienfeldaufbau (8) aufweist, der die Wasch- und Spülhilfeverspendemittel (14) sowie die Hauptsteuer- und Regulierungseinrichtungen (9) der Geschirrspülmaschine aufnimmt,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
    der Waschbehälter (4) eine obere Wand (10) aufweist, die relativ zu den Seitenwänden (2) angeordnet ist, dass eine Vertiefung (12) zwischen der vorderen Kante (11) der oberen Wand (10) und den vorderen Kanten (13) der Seitenwände (12) definiert wird, wobei die Vertiefung (12) so angepasst ist, dass sie, wenn die Tür (6) verschlossen ist, einen entsprechenden oberen Abschnitt des Bedienfeldaufbaus (8) aufnehmen kann, der zum Innern des Waschbehälters (4) hin vorsteht.
  2. Haushaltsgeschirrspülmaschine nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die obere Wand (10) des Waschbehälters (4) so gefertigt ist, dass sie wenigstens eine weitere Vertiefung (16; 20) enthält, die so angepasst ist, dass sie im wesentlichen weitere optionale Komponententeile (17; 18; 19) der Maschine aufnehmen kann.
  3. Haushaltsgeschirrspülmaschine nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die obere Wand (10) des Waschbehälters (4) auf seiner unteren Seite wenigstens einen Hohlraum (16) umfasst, in welchem wenigstens ein drehender Sprüharm (17) angeordnet ist, wobei dieser Hohlraum die weitere Vertiefung bildet.
  4. Haushaltsgeschirrspülmaschine nach Anspruch 2 oder 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in Entsprechung mit der oberen Wand (10) des Waschbehälters (4) wenigstens eine Sprühdüse (18) vorgesehen ist, die so angepasst ist, dass sie einen Wasserstrahl in Richtung auf das Innere desselben Behälters leiten kann, und die mit einem entsprechenden Wasserversorgungskanal verbunden ist, dessen Anschlussabschnitt (19) sich in den Raum erstreckt, der in der größten Gesamtdicke der oberen Wand umfasst ist.
  5. Haushaltsgeschirrspülmaschine nach Anspruch 2, umfassend ein Trocknungssystem von der Art, die wenigstens einen Dampfkühler aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Dampfkühler in der oberen Wand (10) des Waschbehälters (4) angeordnet ist.
  6. Haushaltsgeschirrspülmaschine nach Anspruch 1, bei der die obere Wand (10) des Waschbehälters (4) einen Abschnitt mit einer Dicke und wenigstens ein vorderes Versteifung- und Haltequerstück mit einer Dicke größer als die des besagten Abschnitts aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Vertiefung (12), die zur Aufnahme eines entsprechenden Abschnitts des Bedienfeldaufbaus (8) angepasst ist, auf der vorderen Kante des Querstücks (22) vorgesehen ist.
